| fist, fighting the urge to put it threw the window. The thing was still out there, still running around the forest. He ground his teeth together. "Enjoy what time you have left, you b*stard," He hissed under his breath. Heather whimpered in her sleep. Shaken out of his vengeful thoughts, Kai13 moved away from the window and slipped back into bed. Heather snuggled up to him, sighed, and slipped into a deeper sleep. Kai13 stroked her hair and closed his eyes. "I almost lost you once," he thought as he held her close, "Never again." ~~~~~ Many eyes watched the castle, with many different reasons. But one did so with a hunger none of the others possessed. It glazed up at the castle, blood slowly drying on it's face. It held up a small piece of flesh, which quickly found it's way into it's mouth. It closed it's eyes, savoring the taste of the morsel. Licking the blood from it's lips it looked back up at the castle. It chuckled darkly. "Oh little flower, you got lucky this time," it hissed, smiling, "But I've tasted your flesh, and it's sweeter than anything I've ever had. And I'll have more, soooo much more." It slipped back into the shadows, off into the night. "I'll have every delicious inch of you." |
