The greenhouse had been apart of the APEC castle for some time now. It was mainly used for growing exotic plants. Few took much notice of it untill the day a note was nailed to the door. "Untill farther notice the greenhouse is off limits" When asked what was up, Heather said that one of the plants in there was sick and she didn't want it spreding to her garden in which the greenhouse sat. Everyone excepted this untill strange things started happening. It started a few days later.

Everyone was sitting at the table for breakfast when threw the open door swooped a large barn owl. The ladies shreeked as it swooped down onto the table landing infront of Heather. Heather calmly reached out and untied the letter that was tied to the birds leg. The owl promtly took off and flew back out the door. Heather stuffed the letter in her pocket and went back to eating.

"What the..." said Strytlr. "That was an owl!?!" said necro. "With a letter tied to it's leg!!" gasped rave. "Heather, what was that about?" asked dgrequeen.

"Oh, nothing." said Heather as she got up from the table and walked away.

A few days after that everyone was woken up by loud banging and shouting. Peering threw their windows, the ladies watched several men pushing a large crate into the garden. Evening Star, Pandora, and Trillian were the first ones down stairs. By the time they got outside, the crate was being pulled back from the greenhouse door, now empty of what ever had been inside it. They spotted Heather locking the greenhouse door. "Heather, what's going on?" asked Pandora.

"Oh, nothing, just got a shipment of new seedlings in, that's all." Heather said as a loud snarl sounded from the other side of the door. Heather walked back inside the castle as the three of them watched. "If that's a plant in there, I'm investing in weed killer." mumbled Trillian.

That night, Kai 21 was in the kitchen. Twilight had the munchies and he was getting her something. He had just loaded up a tray with all sorts of snacks when her heard a noise. He peeked around the corner into the main hall.

The fire had turned emerald green in the fireplace. As Kai 21 watched the flames frose up high and out of them walked Heather. She was covered in soot and holding a large bag. She coughed as the fire shrank back to it's normal size and turned back to red/yellow. "I don't know how they do that all the time." she mutered as she headed upstairs.

Kai 21 waited a few minutes then ran up to Twilight's room. Panting, he told her what he had seen. "If I didn't know better, I'd sware you'd been drinking." said Twilight.

"Twilight, you know I.." stammered Kai 21. "Hush, I know." said Twilight, "But somthing strange is going on around here, I think I need to talk to the girls tommarow. Heather's up to something and I want to know what."

Operation Weed Wacker

A plan was set in motion. Heather had been locking herself in the greenhouse for hours on end for the last several days, and refusing to let anyone in. Something was going on and the ladies of APEC were deturmined to find out what. And so Operation Weed Wacker was born. "We'll seperate into teams of three or four. We'll take turns trying to get in the greenhouse." said Evening Star.

"Isn't this wrong, I mean, we really shouldn't be pokeing around in Heather's buisness." said doffy. "True, but where's the fun in that?" siad Kali56, smiling.

team one (THE WARRIORS)

That night the first team meet just outside the garden. Tyrathca, Kai21, Kai45, and WarriorKai headed towards the the greenhouse. They had desided on cuting their way in. Tyrathca and Kai21, useing their braces as glass cutters, cut a hole in the large glass windows of the greenhouse. One by one they climbed inside. The air was moist and thick. Many large plants lined the walls and several tables stood in two rows, covered with small potted plants. Towards the back of the greenhouse was a small office/storeroom. They silently headed that way.

"Stupefy!!"

It happened suddenly. One minute they were walking along, the next all four hit the floor with a thud. Out of the shadows stepped Heather grinning, in one hand an open book, in the other a wand. "Cool, it worked." said Heather. She closed the book and sat it aside. She left the four of them laying just outside the garden walls, they would wake up in a few hours. Back inside the greenhouse she yawned, "Time for bed." Heather picked up her book and headed for the door.

Turning she said before locking the door, "Ok Fluffy, take care of the place while I'm gone." A large dark figure steped from the shadows and sat in the middle of the floor. It growled menicingly and lay down.

"Ok," said Evening Star, leaning agenst the table. "What happened? VA?"

"Magic." said VisionAri. "It's not possable, Heather doesn't know any magic." said Vigdis.

"I know, I know, but there's no denying it. It was a simple stun spell." sighed VisionAri as she leaned back in her chair. "If it's any consilation, she hasn't been at it for long, she proabably only knows the basic stuff."

"OK, here's what were gonna do." said ES. "Team two goes tonight, but this time we make sure Heather's not in there. I don't care if she's starting a new hobby but I'll be da*ned if I'm gonna let her practuse on anymore of us."

team two- THE CRICKET CRUSADERS

Trillian and Kali56 jumped from the trees landing next to the greenhouse. There were dressed in green jumpsuits, green masks, and had the letters CC painted across the capes they were wareing. They were armed with cans of bug spray and weed killer. A twig snapped. They spun around, ready to fend of an attack.
