| "You did nothing wrong. You couldn't help yourself." Kai13 gentley forced her head up, making her look at him. "But I.... attacked you." Heather tryed to hide her face. Kai13 smiled, "Do I look like I'm any worse for it?" Heather peeked up at him, smiling slightly, "No." Kai13 pushed a strand of hair out of her face, "Then don't beat yourself up about it." After a bit more reasureing, Heather calmed down. She took a bath, after asuring Kai13 she did NOT need any help from him (talk about never getting enought) "Are you sure you don't need any help?" Kai13 said wistfully from the doorway. "NO, I can do this myself." Heather said, trying not to grin. "But I am hungry." Kai13 smerked, eye brow raised. He ducked as a soapy washcloth shot past his head. "For FOOD, you brat." giggled Heather, suddenly wishing she'd thrown a shampoo bottle instead, she wasn't finished with the washcloth. Grining, Kai13 tossed it back to her, "I'll go get you something, be right back." Sighing, Heather finished up and leaned back, enjoying a good soak. A sudden thought burst her bubble. She paled, sinking lower into the water, as she heard the faint sounds of converation from the other side of the wall. Sounds coming from the set of rooms next to her and Kai13's, rooms that belonged to dgre and MyKai. Rooms that backed right onto her bedroom. She groaned, remembering just how much noise she had made these past four days, four days *and* nights. "oh no," moaned Heather, "Dgre and MyKai'll never let me live this down." ***** "I'll never stop blushing." Heather sat infront of the mirror, her hands over her face. Aunt Blossom looked back threw the mirror at her thoroughly embarased neice. "I'll never be able to show my face again." "Now, deary, it can't be that bad." Aunt Blossom tryed not to smile. Heather looked up, glareing at her. Over the past few days, Heather's mood had turned sour. Many of the ladies couldn't look at her with out giggling. The Kais were all grins when they passed her in the halls. A gaggle of newbies had followed her around the other day, whispering and giggling. Kai13 was holding up better under the attention. There were grins, winks and back slapping a plenty the day after. Several of his brothers had tryed pumping him for details. How many times, how many ways, and what the heck did he do to make that much noise??? Oh, and the noise. She had been worried about dgre and MyKai. Little had she known that the WHOLE castle heard her. There was a rumor going around that there would be a compition between her and CowboyKai, to see what was louder, her screams or his yodel. She talked awhile longer before saying goodbye and switching the mirror off. There was a knock at the door. Opening it she found herself looking at herself. Heather smiled, "HI Lily." Garden of Lily smiled up at her, holding a steaming mug in her hands. "Hi, Heather, I brought you some tea for your throat." "Not you too." Heather groaned, remembering all the sore throat comments from the ladies. She turned back into the liveingroom. Lily looking on, puzzled. "Huh?? What??" Lily followed Heather as she walked over and floped down on the sofa, "I heard you coughing earlyer today and thought you might be getting a cold." Blushing slightly, Heather looked up at her clone, who was looking crestfallen, stairing at the mug in her hands. "It's ok Lily. Thank you for think of me." Lily looked up and smiled. Heather took the mug and motioned for Lily to sit. Setting the mug aside, Heather put an arm around Lily's shoulders. They sat quietly a few moments. Heather's sour mood lifted slightly. "Heather." Lily rested her head on Heather's shoulder. "Hmm?" "Will I have to go through what you just did?" Heather tryed not to smile at Lily's childlike tone. "Yes, someday you'll go through the same thing." Lily frowned, "Then I don't wanta grow up." Heather chuckled softly, giveing Lily's shoulder a squeeze. "I don't blame you, Lily." Heather smiled down at her, "Not one bit." |
