The plan was set in motion. Kai 13 left Kai21 and PerfectBlue to get it set up. He headed back upstairs to Heather's chambers. Twilight was sitting in the small living room and stood up as he entered. "She's asleep." she whispered softly. She took Kai 13's hand, squeezing it gently, "Don't worry, it'll be all right."

Kai 13 smiled slightly, "I know. Thank you, Twilight." After she had left, Kai 13 slipped into the dark bedroom and curled up against his sleeping mistress, silently telling himself it WAS going to be all right.

Later that day, while Heather still slept, the men went about building a large crate. The banging and hammering was muffled by the thick walls. Heather slept on, even when Ryt dropped a large hammer on his foot and cursed up a storm. A few hours later, she sleep soundly as a loud commotion was taking place in the courtyard. The stomping of horses, the shouts of men, the grunts of the "things" being herded into the crate, did not wake her. "It's ready." said Kai21 quietly, a few minutes later.

"Good," said Kai 13, "We'll do it tommarow."

"I DON'T WANNA!" "Come on, Heather." "NO!"

Kai 13 tried to pry Heather's fingers off the door frame. He had tried talking her into coming out to see her class. She had flatly refused. Kai 13 had resorted to dragging her out of their chambers where she had grabbed the door. Giving up on forcing her grip, Kai 13 began tickling her. Heather began giggling helplessly and let go. Kai 13 promptly picked her up, slung her over his shoulder and headed downstairs. Any other time, Heather would have enjoyed this upclose view of Kai 13's backside, but not now. She struggled in his grip and was rewarded with a loud smack on the bottom. Heather felt her face turn bright red and stopped moving. She was thankful that the main hall was empty. She couldn't have standed it if the whole of APEC saw her now.

At the main doors, Kai 13 lowered Heather back to the floor and jumped out of the way as she tried to kick him in the shin. He grabbed her, pulled her close and gave her a long tender kiss. Pulling back, he opened the door and before she could recover from his kiss, dragged her outside. Both Morning and Evening classes stood together under the bright fall sun. They stood, silent and straight, in two rows. Heather had never seen them like this, used to seeing them laughing and chatting, running around.

PerfectBlue stepped forward, "I'm glad to see Kai 13 convinced you to come."

Heather glared at Kai 13, who was looking at her innocently (and let me tell you, it's not very convincing) Heather looked back at Blue. "What's going on?" she said softly, looking around the grounds, at the large crate that was shaking every few minutes as something banged against the wood.

"Our final exam."

Heather watched as dgre and MyKai stood alone in the middle of the courtyard. They were the first team to be tested. Each had a snare gun in hand as Blue opened a door built into the crate. Something large and gray slouched out. Trollus Rhinous, named after the large wart that resembled a horn that grew on it's nose. It charged dgre and MyKai. They easily side stepped the lumbering brute. MyKai fired his Snare, wrapping it around the beast's chest. Dgre hit it in the legs. The troll struggled for a few minutes, but to no avail. And so it went, a couple would take the field, to face a troll.

VisionAri and Rytalin faced off against a Trollus Comedicia. Ryt and it dueled back and forth with the worst jokes they had, while VA snuck up behind it. Trillian and PirateKai faced a Trollus Fasionus. Trill took it out while it was distracted, complaining about Piratekai's choice of shirts. The Terrible Trio faced a Trollus Bansheeia. It's loud shrill voice almost did them in, if not for JustKai hitting it in the face, clamping it's mouth shut. Twilight and Kai21 faced a Trollus Mucusia. The first snare slid off, due to the troll's continuously runny nose. The other hit and stuck, the first wiping off enough mucus to clear the way. Pandora and DionysusKai faced a Trollus Hippieia. Pan was over come with the scent of pot that surrounded it. DionysusKai grabbed it by it's long hair and pulled it away from his mistress, hitting it in the back with a Snare while at it. Doffy and CowboyKai faced a Trollus Longhornus. CowboyKai distracted it by jumping on it's back. It jumped about, trying to shake him off until Doffy hit it in the legs and it slammed it's face into the ground. Rave and Thodin took on a Trollus Colectorus. It pelted them with Cherished Teddies, Precious Moments and Beanie Babies. Thodin took a rather nasty hit on the head from a large Cherished teddy, but Rave hit the troll with a Snare to the chest. Necro and Kai45 took on a Trollus Gossipus. It spouted off all the nasty rumors it had heard, or made up itself. Kai45 hit it in the mouth with the Snare and silenced it.

Strytlr, Kai28, Evening Star, and Alg teamed up against a Trollus Blobia. It had no arms or legs and seemed to ooze across the ground. They hit it with four Snares at once. The Snare's grab hold of each other and formed a giant net over the troll. SirKai and Stan V took on a Trollus Dragonus. Stan V ran as it breathed fire at him. SirKai hit it with a Snare, clamping it's mouth shut. But it hit him with it's tail, which Stan V Snared to a tree. Ghia, Angelmay, and MicroMary took on a Trollus Nerdus. It tossed razor edged pocket protectors at them. The couldn't get close enough for a good shot, until Ghia sneezed, the force of which knocked the frail Nerdus over. It was quickly subdued. Kai6 and PerfectBlue faced a Trollus AnnoyingSingerus. They had a hard time fighting as they kept laughing at the troll who was doing a lousy impression of Brittany Spears. It kept tripping over it's own feet trying to dance. As the AnnoyingSingerus was dragged from the field, Heather looked at her class.

"You actually learned something?!?!" she said, almost disbelieving what she had seen.

"Of course we did." said VA.

"Your a great teacher, Heather." said Twilight.

"So did we pass?" asked trill.
