| Scar shivered at the predatory grin turned on him, as the most blood thirsty creature created in Nadless's clone lab stepped from the tub, towel in hand and stalked towards him. "I want.. I need a new town. But first..." With a flick of a hand, his face was sliced open. Smiling, she watched him heal, as he always did. Licking her full lips, she pushed a strand of hair from her face and hissed, "You've been a bad boy," She pressed herself against him, feeling him tremble with anticipation, "And before I'm done, you'll scream my name." Infront of the TV, Rhino chuckled dumbly was the Roadrunner outwitted the coyote again. ***** "This is Sandra Smith, coming to you live from Market Square. The whole of Realityville has been rocked by the discovery made this morning. Two early morning joggers found an undetermined number of bodies. The condition of the victims is such that no one has been able to determine how many there are." *cut to stock footage of Market Square, in the center of Realityville. Lots of trees, shrubs and a concrete circle in the center, a large spire in it's center, celebrating the founding of the city* "Reports say that the remains of the victims were displayed around the base of the spire and the words "Bye bye" were written on the spire in blood. The police are attributing this horrific crime to the Ripper, who has been linked to at least 70 murders in the last several months." Chuckling, she brushed her hair, half listening to the reporter rambling. Smiling, she checked herself in the mirror, admiring her long black hair streaked with green. Or was it green streaked with black? She really didn't know, nor did she care. Running her hands over her tight black top, she admired herself. If any of her victims had bothered to stop and look, they might have found her beautiful. But then, they never had the time to look past her exotic looks, yellow eyes, green skin and sharp claws were not something you saw in this town. Now, where they were going, that was a different story. The sun had almost set, it was time to go. Tossing her brush into the duffle bag with everything else she owned, she looked in the mirror one last time before grabbing it and heading out to the truck. The full size truck wasn't nearly big enough, Rhino had to wedge himself into the bed of the truck. The back end was sitting dangerously close to the ground, if he was any heavier it would be scraping the road. "You ready Rhino?" she purred. Rhino looked at her a moment before smiling, "Yup." She tossed her bag behind her seat before climbing into the cab. Scar eyed her up like a piece of candy, "You know what babe, I don't think the people here like your going away present." She pouted, "I think your right. Here I go and gather up a dozen of their worst murderers, rapists, and child molesters and leave them where they can find them all and they only have five reporters working the story. Humph." She twirled a strand of hair around her finger, frowning. "See if I ever do them a favor anymore." "Ahh babe, this peeps don't appreciate you," Scar slipped and arm around her, pulling her over for a kiss, "Not like I do." "Your right," She purred, running her tongue along his lower lip, "Let's get out of this place." Smirking, Scar reluctantly let go of her and started the truck. After several hours of taking the back roads to avoid unwanted attention they neared their destination. Stopping at the top of a hill, they pulled over. In the distance, the lights of a city could be seen. No more then twenty feet down the road, glinting in the headlights, stood a sign... *Kaitown 1 mile* ***** The sounds of the Lexxbar spilled out onto the street. Laughter and conversation filled the air. Songs were sung with only a slight slurring of the words. The windows blazed with light as the sun cast it's last rays upon the town. Here within these four walls it seems happiness resides, everything if fun and light. But no more then a quarter mile away, there is nothing to smile about. Familiar yellow tape flaps in a slight breeze. The flash of red and blue lights join that of a camera. Blood pools on the sidewalk as hardened police officers find themselves sick. Some choke back tears. No words could be found to describe the pure horror of that scene. Later, many of those there could only describe it as red, everything was red. The thing that stood out to many of them was a message, written in the victims own blood on a piece of skin peeled from the body... "Nice place you have here. I think I'll stay awhile." A small crowd had gathered around the TV in the Great Hall. No one said anything while the special report repeated the news. Revo was the first to find her voice, "Has anyone left this morning?" "Yes," Kai21 said, "Some of the ladies went into town about an hour ago." "Who?" Disco spoke up, "Lady dgre, Doffy, Pandora, and Heather. I think they were going shopping." Standing outside a store, looking at the "latest fashions" Heather almost laughed, "Are people actually supposed to wear those???" Doffy chuckled, "Only if your six foot, blonde and 90 pounds." Heather shook her head at the crazy stuff people think is hot. Pandora and dgre came out of next store. Pan was staring at dgre like she'd grown another head. "I can't believe you did it!" said Pan, "I can't believe you punched that girl!" Dgre practically growled, "She deserved it for spraying that stuff on me." Pan snickered, "I think it smelled pretty nice." "Yeah, well you didn't swallow some of it." Dgre stuck her tongue out, "Ack, I need a drink." |
