SamuraiKai gentley ran his hand along Lady's head, around the brownish horns and down her neck. "She likes it when you scratch right above her eye." Heather said. It took only a moment before Sam had found the spot and soon, Lady was growl/purring loudly. Looking past Sam, back towards the groups, Heather tryed not to laugh. Unknown was clubing a grindylow into spitting out YeoZaa's hand. WOWKai sailed threw the air as the full grown male bucked him off. Kai21 was grinning maddly as he rolled around on the ground with a snarling female. Heather sighed, at least one of the boys was getting along with the grindys.

"Don't you dare hurt her!!!!!"

"HER?? What about US?? grumbled MyKai as he, Kai4, DionysusKai, and Kai13 carryed Lady over to the tank. Heather had refused to allow them to drag her over. Instead they had put her on a tarp and were forced to carry the 400 pound grindylow. For her part, Lady had behaved wonderfully, staying still, only snorting and grunting occasionaly.

She slipped into the cool waters of the tank with out incedent. She was the only one that had gone quietly. Heather was hard pressed not to laugh as she looked around. WOWKai was again realining his spine after being tossed into the air. WitchesKai calmly cleaned his hand in a bucket of water before reattaching it. Kai21's body sat cross-legged on the ground as DiscoKai and CowboyKai fished around in the moat for his head.

"Found it!" shouted CowboyKai, holding Kai21's sludge covered head in the air. After dunking it in a bucket of water he handed it over.

"Are we done yet?" Tyrathca_Kai looked over at Heather hopefully. Heather looked down at the notepad in her hands.

"Only one left is Big Daddy." said Heather.

"Big Daddy???" MyKai, YeoZaa, and WOWKai at once.

The moat erupted, water flew into the air delugeing those nearby. Something slamed into the ground letting loose an earthshaking roar. If they could have, many watching would have messed their pants. The normal grindylow was 6 to 8 feet long. What stood before them was a 12 foot monster. Big Daddy raised his head up, twin rows of four inch teeth gleaming in the sun light. The muscles visubly rippled under his greenish black shin as he lashed the air with his thick powerful tail. He filled his cavernous lungs, pushing his bulk off the ground and bellowed his challange to the heavens. Digging his claws into the earth, he turned his burning black eyes towards the closest target, UnknownKai.

Big Daddy snorted, wondering if he should bite him or not. He never noticed Heather speaking quietly to SamuriaKai. Puffing up his chest, Big Daddy opened his mouth to roar. What came out was a surprised grunt. Big Daddy's eyes widened. He turned away from Unknown to see SamuraiKai pull the needle from his shoulder. Big Daddy's eyes locked on the empty needle before they rolled up inside his head. With a grunt, his head hit the ground, out cold.

"What the...?" MyKai stared at the passed out beast.

"What was in that thing?" asked Kai21.

Sam almost smiled, "Only his innoculation." Heather, hard pressed not to laugh at their shocked faces, gave in. She hit the ground, holding her sides laughing.

"So, what happened?" asked YeoZaa. Heather couldn't talk, she was laughing so hard. Kai13 spoke up, chuckling.

"Big Daddy... <chuckle> hates needles."

"Are you saying, that beast fainted??? cause of a needle???" sputtered Tyrathca_Kai.

"Well.... yeah." choked out Kai13.

MyKai glared at the passed out grindylow, "What a wuss."

"What did we do to deserve this???" said Kai21 as he shoveled more sludge into a bucket.

"Stop complaining, at least we don't have six feet of water over out heads." grumbled MyKai as he dumped another shovel full into his bucket. Kai21 glared at his brother, wondering how much noise a shovel upside the head would make. The moat had been drained of it's brakish water. Half of the work force now stood on the bottom of the moat, in nearly a foot of sludge, fish bones, garbage, and other things they didn't want to know about. As each bucket was filled, it was halled up to the surface and dumped near the greenhouse. Heather swore it would make great compost. Several of them found they could shovel in time to Big Daddy's snores. Heather had given him something to keep him asleep.

As the day wore on, WOWKai and YeoZaa got restless. Grinning, YeoZaa nodded towards CowboyKai. WOWKai grined back. CowboyKai watched a moment as his full bucket was pulled up by CheyKai.

**SPLAT**

CowboyKai stood, dumbfounded, for a moment. A large glob of sludge dribbled down the side of his face, along his neck and soaked into his shirt. Turning he found WOWKai and YeoZaa doubled over with laughter. Growling, he scooped up a hand full of sludge and hit YeoZaa right in the kisser. YeoZaa fired back. CowboyKai ducked. The sludge ball hit Kai13 on the back of the head. Then all hell broke loose.

Unknown dumped a full bucket on MyKai's head before leaping into the moat. Prince Kai landed on DarkKai, knocking him face first into the muck. Tyrathca_Kai found himself in a wrestling match with Kai4. CowboyKai dunked WOWKai head first into a half full bucket. DionysusKai gave GothiKai a VERY messy noogie. CheyKai dumped a handfull of mud down DiscoKai's pants before getting a sludge pie to the face from WitchesKai.

A sudden squeal of surprise froze them in their place. They turned in time to see Heather land, backside first, with a loud *BLOP* into the sludge. With an indignant growl, she looked up at the only one still standing, untouched by the mud fight. With a roar she shook a fist up at... "SAM!!"
