| She stood on the balcony, the soft breeze pushing her thin robe agenst her body. The sun had just disapeared into the ocean. The sky was a deep shade of crimson slowly fading to blue then purple and black. She looked out over the white ribbon that was the beach to the dark blue waters. Off in the distance she heard the music and laughter of the Boardwalk. People were shopping, eating, and talking in the cool evening air. For the first few days she had been down there. She and her friends had danced and chatted all night long. One night they had stuffed themselves so full of boardwalk fries and funnal cakes they could hardly move. But tonight was different. Her friends were down there now, eating salt water taffy, checking out guys and dancing at one of the several resterant/nightclubs that dotted Ocean City. But she had stayed back. She had told them she wanted to recover from the other nights partying. They grumbled about staying at the hotel was no fun but had said it was ok and left her there. Then she hadn't known why she wanted to stay behind but now she knew. HE was coming. ***** She stepped back inside her room. Taking off her robe and slipping on her beach shirt. The knee lenth cotten felt good on her near bare skin. Unlike her friends who loved to show off in their bikinis, she prefured the less showy one piece bathingsuits. Still the clingy, tie-dyed blue suit felt like a second skin beneth her shirt. The contrast between the two made her shiver. She grabed her beach towel and the key to the room. She made her way to the elevator, no one was on the floor, everyone must have gone to the Boardwalk tonight. The elevador seemed to take forever to decend the seven floors. She bypassed the lobby and headed down the hallway marked "to the beach". She stepped outside onto the sandy walkway. A tingle went up her spine, she gasped. HE'S HERE! ***** She turned. He stepped from the shadows, a vision of pale perfection. He moved towards her, taking her hand in his. "You came for me!?!" She said solfly almost fearfully. "Yes." he said softly. The moon light played across his face. The soft breeze pushed his long raven lock across his eyes. He lead her down the sandy path to the empty beach. There he spread the beach towel on the sand and motioned her to sit. She did. He sat next to her, leaning towards her, he whispered "close your eyes". She did. She could feel his forelock brushing agenst her face. He's shoulder touched hers. He leaned closer untill his lips nearly touched her check. "Open" he whispered. She opened her mouth and left something cool and hard slip between them. She moaned softly as the bit of white heaven melted on her tongue. She dug her fingers into the towel as the sweet bliss slid down her throught leaving a desperate longing behind. She opened her eyes, she turned her head slightly. Their lips, a mere inch apart, she looked into his dark eyes and sighed. "More please." ***** She had never known such pleasure or joy as she had in the past hour. "Has is been an hour?" She thought," it felt like a lifetime." She lay on her back looking up at him as he leaned over her, their bodies almost touching. One piece, that was all that was left of the white chocolate he had teased and tempted and pleased her with. She grabed his hand as he lowered the last bit towards her lips. She took the morsule from his fingers, smiling. He raised one slender eyebrow at her. She ran the last bit of white bliss along his lower lip. She sliped one of her hands behind his neck. She poped the last bit into his mouth. As she did so she pulled his face towards her, pressing her lips to his. Their tongues meet, twisting about, the choclate caught between them. She moaned, fighting for the last bit, feeling it melt on her tongue, only to have him steal it back. The piece was fast melting away but she didn't care any more. She had tasted him and that was far more thriling. She pulled his body close, feeling his hand slid up her bare thigh, under her long shirt, over her hip and rsting on her side. His hand branded her through her thin bathingsuit spreading wonderus heat over her body. Only he could hear her over the crashing waves as her soft groan became a frantic gasp, then a frenzied moan and finally a soft sigh as she lay content in his arms. ***** Her eyes fluttered open. Sho looked up at... the celing fan???? She sat up looking around. She was back in her hotel room. She was laying on her bed, the towel folded up next to her and her keys on the night stand. "Was it all a dream?" she thought. She brushed a strand of hair from her face and stoped. She looked down at her arm. it was covered lightly with sand. So was her other arm and her legs. She jumped off the bed and ran to the balcony. She looked down at the beach. There, in the distance she could make out a thin figure in black moving along the water's edge, off into the night that had brought him. She smiled and winced, her lips hurt. She reached up and touched them. They were sore and a bit swollen. She smiled despite the pain. She whispered into the cool ocean breeze... "Who said the dead don't smooch." |
