| She sat in the chair, her favorite blanket pulled up to her nose. She had already gone through all 500 channels on her tv with nothing to watch. "What a way to spend my birthday." she mumbled. The girls had wanted to take her out, go eat, get drunk, make trouble, all the fun things they always did. But the cold had reared it's ugly head the night before and now had set in. No fun for her today, not with a fever, chills, sore throut, and the loss of all her energy. She looked over at the table beside her chair. one of the girls had stopped by, leaving a cupcake with a candle in it for her, but more importantly she brought MEDS. She grabed the little orange contaner and her glass. "DAMN, empty." she cursed. She strugled to her feet, shufling to the kitchen. SHe refilled the glass, downed the meds, and started back to her chair. Someone knocked on the door. "What the..." she said as she stagered to the door. She opened it, hoping it wasn't the crazy old lady complaning about the dog chaseing her cats. "Happy Birthday." He said flatly. She looked down at the bottle of meds thinking, What the H*ll did she give me? But halusinations don't walk in the door, carrying a small brown bag, and wish you happy birthday. Do they??? ***** "How do I get myself into these things" she throught. He had sat down in her chair and somehow talked her into sitting in his lap. The meds must being doing something to her head, cause she would never, EVER do something like that. But she did. Now she sat curled up in his lap, her head resting on his shoulder, the blanket covering her legs and his. he sat the small brown bag in her lap and reached in. "Close your eyes." he said softly. She did, feeling just a bit silly. Something cool brushed her lips. "Open." She parted her lips, the smooth oblong object slid into her mouth, melting on her tounge. "mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm" she sighed. the creamy milk chocolate ran down her throught, soothing it. It melted away to revele something hard within. A cough drop, cherry. She mmmed as the vapors rose to fill her sinuses and flowed down her sore, raw throught. Slowly it melted too, following the chocolate before it. She opened her eyes and looked up at him. His eyes seemed caught somewhere between brown and green. Something in them sent a shiver along her spine. She smiled. Reaching up she curled his long, black forelock around her finger. "More, please." ***** "Has it really been an hour?" she thought. It felt more like a lifetime spent in his arms. he had teased her with the drops, ran them over her lips not letting her have it. Then he would slip it into her mouth slowly, not letting go for a few tantilizing moments. He had teased her mercylessly, untill she begged for it, twice she had been near tears wanting it. But he always gave it to her. Always. They were down to one drop. He lifted it from the now empty bag. he held it near her face but pulled it back. She wimpered, squerming abit in his lap. He lifted the drop to his face and slowly placed it between his lips. Her heart lept as he lowered his face to her. She reached up, her lips brushing his, to take the drop. But he wouldn't let go. She giggled as she licked the drop, then his lips. SHe wrapped her arm around his neck, holding him close as she slowly licked away the chocolate, stopping to lick at his lips. The chocolate melted away untill only the drop remained. Only now did he let go, dropping it into her waiting mouth. But she wasn't done with him. She pulled him back, kissing and licking away the bits of chocolate on his lips. Her toughe dipped in between his lips tasting the chocolate within. "MMMMMMMMMMMM" she mouned. She kissed and licked away the sweetness untill with one final flick of her tounge, she pulled back. The drop had long desolved without her notice. She layed her head back on his shoulder and sighed contently. As she drifted off she heard him whisper. "Happy Birthday." ***** She woke up in her chair, alone. SHe looked around grogaly but he was gone. She sighed then noteced a card sitting in her lap. She read it. It had a open box of Chocolate on the front that read "Happy Birthday". Inside it said "for the sweetest girl in town." but it wasn't signed by him. She jumped up from the chair and grabbed the phone. She knew the number by heart. It rang and then.... "HI O!" "How did you do it?" she asked. "HUH? oh hi birthday girl, did you like your present?" she giggled. "I loved it but how?" she asked. "Tehe, trade secret. I hope your felling better now." she said laughing. "Heather!!!" she growled at her. "Your imposable." All she heard was laughing from the other end. |
