| King Kai is a stand-up comic /bachelor /alien / legendary teacher that lives on his own planet with his pet monkey bubbles and friend Gregory. In the Saiyan saga, he trained Goku and taught him the spirit bomb for his battle against Vegeta. After that he just uses his telepathy to talk to him and give him advice. Later when Yamcha, Choutzu, and Tien died, he trained them too and gave them a test against the Ginyu Force. Piccolo also stopped in for a visit but had a reluctance to be trained by him. King Kai loves to tell jokes which cracks himself up and will not teach anyone with a bad sense of humor. Later, in the Buu saga, the battle rages on his self-contained planet causing his death. |
