UPCOMING GIGS
Not too much in the pipeline right now, we're gonna work on a load of new noise, but there could be a few one off spectaculars thrown in every so often (so what's new?)
PAST GIGS
5th / 4th / 01 in the Fort, Dungannon, with Three Second Fuse and Gardenia. First gig, then known as Boredumb. Legendary performance * ahem *
20th / 4th / 01 in Jesters in the Glenavon, Cookstown with Three Second Fuse, Lifescape, I Am Sparticus, Pocket Promise and Inner Peace Project. Some cunts stole the tremelo arm from Donals guitar that Gerard was using and the tuning key of the drum kit that we borrowed for the night. Absolute bastard.
2nd / 1st / 02 in the Fort with Three Second Fuse, Moment of Clarity, Snrumf, Hedway, Pocket Promise and some other band made up of a selection of the finest rock musicians in the area. The return of Field IX!!!!
20th/3rd/02 in the Fort with Los Cabras, Three Second Fuse and Yakuza. Rodan didnt show!....probably our best performance yet, or so we are told, we couldnt hear a thing. Gained some respect for being listenable just a pity not many showed up to witness it. Dee interrupted Los Cabras set to play a bass solo starting with happy birthday and then taking a life of its own.
3rd/7th/02 in the Front Page, Belfast with Suki and Acupunkture. A quite successful gig, which also sadly turned out to be Donals last, as he left soon afterwards. The end of an era L
18th/9th/02 in the Front Page, Belfast with Whats The Fusz, Grit, Skypilot, Best Before End and The Dangerfields. Only gig with drummer Justy, which was quite shambolic due to Justy not knowing the songs and getting drunk before going onstage.
19th/10th/02 in Molly Sweeneys, Omagh, with Pink Ink, Hot Rocks and Twisted Faith. First gig with drummer Nigel, which turned into a legendary performance which involved crowdsurfing guitar solos, crazy jazzy drum solos and Dee running round the mosh pit while playing bass. It was a battle of the bands and we won!! (well so our audience said anyway!)
30th/10th/02 in Molly Sweeneys, Omagh with Ceramic Hellmets, Pink Ink and Twisted Faith. Another gig in Mollys, Nigel got fucked and nearly died doing a huge drum solo. It was fun. He wanted to stop but evil Gerard broke into another riff and Nigel had to play on. Hahahahaha
15th/11th/02 in Mc Elroys, Omagh, with Pink Ink, Twisted Faith and Eruption. Memorable gig for all involved. Eruption are gods!
30th/11th/02, Dorkfest 2002 in Edendork Hall, Dungannon with The Evangelists, The Dangerfields, Aurel, Gulag, Pocket Billiards, Inner Peace Project and Weather Wax. No drink allowed? That soon changed The Evangelists had to move to a different venue to play their set which pissed people off :(. Still, The Dangerfields rocked as usual! As did the other bands, some were really brilliant.
11th/12th/02 in the Front Page, Belfast with No Ghost, Rain, and The New Breed. Massive turnout. About 10 people. Still, a fun night which was referred to as a successful practise session.
18th/1st/'03 in the Fort, Dungannon with Linus and Messiah Syndrome. Really fun gig, low turnout but high atmosphere. Daytime gigs - no.
15th/2nd/'03 at the Rugby Club, Omagh with Pink Ink, Twisted Faith, Ceramic Hellmets and Yakuza. Another strange gig, quite low turnout, very DIY nite but it was fun. And there were some things that nite which will go down in local rock history
7th/3rd/'03 at Eden Niteclub, Omagh with Twisted Faith, Ceramic Hellmets and Aurel. Notoriously bad turn-out, but the few people there were treated to a true experience. A great gig for those few people who were there.
16th/5th/'03 at Tingles Niteclub, Omagh with Twisted Faith. Pretty cool gig, had to throw in a few covers, house of the rising sun was fun cos we sorta raped it.
25th/5th/'03 at Top Of The Town, Omagh with Hotrocks, One Percent and Conjoy. Pretty cool gig, good turnout, great sound, we rocked (as usual)
27th/6th/'03 at Tingles Niteclub, Omagh, with Hotrocks. Probably the best gig we've ever played. Great audience, a lot of jamming went on and the last song ate into the Hotrocks time quite a bit, altho the soundman wanted a short song it ended up at about ten minutes.
16th/7th/'03 at the Fort, Dungannon with Aftermath and No Less My Life. A return to the good old Fort, unfortunately upon playing the gig we realised the Fort was no longer what it used to be. Still, we sent Dee to make friends with yet more bands. Success!
20th/7th/'03 at Top of The Town, Omagh with Odessa, The Benedictine Monks, Hotrocks, One Percent and Conjoy. Set cut short after only four songs when we realised we had been jamming for half an hour. But it rocked.
