Yurrah Kazoo is a jack foal born at 1.00am on 25/10/03 - one year & 2 days after Tessa's last service.
Dam: Yurrah Contessa (Consequently Kazoo is a half-brother to Yurrah Cajun).
Sire: Cokely Major Leo (mammoth jack)

At 3 days old, Kazoo was 25kg & 34". At 3 weeks (15/11) he had grown to 45kg & 36". By 6 weeks (6/12) Kazoo weighed 62kg and was 9:1hh (37"). At this point, Ross said 'no more lifting him onto the scales'!
Att 2 months old (25/12/03) Kazoo had grown to 10hh.

Poor Kazoo had a rough start as he suffered first persistent bleeding from his umbilical cord, then later developed septicemia in his stomach cavity. I really thought we'd lose him from both problems but he pulled through from a very low ebb & is now a delightful, friendly & energetic foal who is doing A LOT of growing.
