Dewberry has been taken out in the breed ring a few times and earned several AKC points as well as a major in ASCA. His beautiful movement is a definite eye-catcher! Dewberry will continue to show in conformation. He is also letting our junior handler use him as her dog.
Dewberry is a typical reserved Aussie, but he warms up quickly. Once he gets to know someone he's ready to hop into his/her lap and get some attention. Around the house, Dewberry is our watch dog. He warns us when anyone comes near the house or when he hears a strange noise. Dewberry doesn't bark unless he feels that something is amiss that we need to be aware of. In public, he is polite and well-behaved. He enjoys going out to pet stores and other places that dogs are allowed in order to show off and meet new dogs.
