Pedigree
Raven is a sweet lovebug of a dog. He enjoys people of all ages and is always polite. He is most comfortable with children and will seek out attention from them, even those he does not know. He has a blast running in circles around our yard with the other dogs, wondering why they feel the need to bark at the dogs next door. Even though he doesn't bark along, he does like to take part in the other dogs' activities. Raven is an all-around easy-going guy. He is very calm in the house, but occassionally gets a bout of the crazies and starts jumping around in play bows. Raven is a shameless bellyrub fiend and will do anything for a good scratch. His reward for doing well in training or competition is always a big rub' he expects this and flops over when he thinks he's done a good job.

Raven has a secret obsession with stuffed toys. He darts out of his crate to scoop one up as quickly as he can in the hopes he isn't noticed. With his prize in tow, he returns to his crate to add his new toy to his hoard. When there are other dogs around, a guy can't be too safe with his stuffed animals! Although Raven loves his stuffed toys very much, there have been a few accidents (numerous accidents, in fact) involving toys and Raven's teeth. In each instance, the toy has failed to make it out of his crate in one piece. As a result, mass hysteria spreads quickly among our children when Raven ventures into one of their bedrooms to see what's in the toy box. We are happy to report that all children's toys have been saved from the crate of no return at this point in time.

Raven just earned his first rally title, taking first place on two of his Qs. We plan to have another rally title before the year's end, and will also be starting on obedience competitions. Raven shows in conformation as well, though on a very limited basis.
