CHAPTER 1

Sydney was standing in what was left of the credit Dauphine building, suddenly a male figure approached from behind.

"i hope you didn’t forget."

Sydney turned around only to see Sark standing in front of her.

 

“what do you want”

“I’ve came to tell you that if you do not come with me, i will kill everyone you care about.”-Sark

Sydney pulled out her gun and pointed it at Sark. “you don’t expect me to listen to you do you, do you?”

“I want to tell you the truth, I really do, but I’m afraid I can’t or, my master will kill me, so how ‘bout you come with me and then maybe I’ll tell you.” He pulled out his gun. “Drop the gun or I’ll shoot.”

Sydney dropped her gun. Sark pulled out his cell phone and dialed for assistance.

 

“hello this is Mr. sark, the job’s almost done, give me an hour or two and I’ll be finished.” With that the line went dead.

Sark put his phone in his pocket and walked over to Sydney and grabbed her gun on the floor.

“please don’t hurt Vaughn, please.”

“I can’t promise you anything, but if you come with me, that won’t be a problem.”

Anna walked into the building. "your boss told me to come."

“I called him and told him everything was ok.”-Sark

“Is this Ms. Bristow?”-Anna

 

“Yes, she apparently won’t come with me, I’m gonna leave, so i want you to try to convince her to come with us.”-Sark

“I’ll try.”-Anna

Sark left the building as Anna approached Syd. Anna stopped walking about a foot away from Syd.

“I see you still haven’t listened to sark, if you don’t I will kill you and all the people who you care about.”-Anna

“Please, just go away and keep everyone out of this.”-Sydney

Anna pulled out her gun and pointed in at Sydney.

“If you don’t come with me, I’ll shoot.”-Anna

Sydney kicked Anna in the stomach.

“you will pay for that.”  She shot Syd in the thigh, and walked away.

As soon as Anna was gone, Sydney took her cell phone out of her pocket and dialed Vaughn’s number.

“Hello, this is agent Vaughn.”

“Hi, it’s me, Sydney, I need you to come and pick me up, I’m in the old SD-6 building.”

“what happened?”-Vaughn

“She shot me in the thigh, I need you to pick me up.”-Sydney

“I’ll be right there.”-Vaughn

Vaughn’s POV

Is she gonna be ok? what if I never get to see her again? I hope she doesn’t die.

No POV

Vaughn got in his car and drove over to the old Credit Dauphine building.

 

CHAPTER 2

Vaughn got out of his car and ran inside to see Syd on the ground bleeding heavily.

 

“It’s gonna be ok” He walked over to her.

Vaughn’s POV

I hope she’s gonna be alright, it looks like she’s been through a lot.

no POV

Vaughn sat down beside Syd on the ground and carefully tore off a strip from his shirt and applied pressure to her thigh. Sydney leaned into him and almost fell asleep.

“Syd, don’t leave me, please.”-Vaughn

 

Syd opened her eyes and looked straight at Vaughn. “I’m fine”

 

Vaughn got up and carried her back to his car still applying pressure to her thigh. They got to Vaughn’s car.

 

“syd, what happened?”

“Sark was trying to get me to come with him and then he left Anna in charge.”

Vaughn kept applying pressure and driving at the same time and he finally got there.

He carefully got Sydney out of the car and carried her into the building.

“Syd, I love you, I want you to know that, alright, you’re gonna be ok.”

 

“I love you too.”

They finally got to the CIA hospital inside of the building. Vaughn walked up to the desk.

“May I help you?”-doctor

 

“I need you to help me (He pointed at Sydney) she needs immediate attention.”

He lead Vaughn to a room and he lay syd down.

“I’ll give you a report of her injures as soon as we’re finished.”-doctor

He shut the door.

Vaughn sat outside the operation room.

Vaughn’s POV

I hope she’s gonna be ok I don't want to loose the one person that makes me sane.

No POV

The doctor came out of the operation room.

 

“Mr. Vaughn, here's the report of her injuries.”

 

He handed him the folder. Vaughn opened it.

 

“she's gonna be ok, if you want you can see her."-doctor

 

He put down the folder and followed the doctor back to the room, he entered the room and walked toward Syd.

“I thought you’d never come back.”-syd

 

“what?”-Vaughn

 

“You just took a long time, that's all.”-syd

 

“Oh, the only thing that held me up is that insane doctor.”

 

“What’s going on?"-syd

 

“Nothing, it’s just that I hate doctors”

“I want to get out of here as soon as possible.”-syd

 

“Can she leave now?”-Vaughn

“We're not supposed to let patients out this soon, but yeah, have her sign this and she can leave. She should take a few days off too, and you're gonna need a pair of crutches to help you walk.”-Doctor

 

Vaughn helped Sydney up and they left the building.

The two of them got out to the car, Vaughn helped syd in and they drove away.

 

Syd’s phone rang

“hello?”

 

“you think you can get away from me? I know your every move, and you will not escape from me.”-sark

“leave me alone and please leave Vaughn out of this.”-syd

 

“I will if you come with me, just as I said before.” The line went dead.

CHAPTER 3

“Who was that?”-vaughn

 

“Sark.”-Syd

 

“What does he want?”-vaughn

“I’m not sure, he keeps calling me and telling me that he wants me to come with him.”-Syd

 

“Well, no one is gonna take you away from me, ever.”-Vaughn

Those exact words peacefully rested in syd's head.

They finally got to Vaughn’s house.

“What is this place?”-Syd

 

“My apartment.”-Vaughn

The two of them got out of the car and went inside.

“Nice place.”-Syd

 

“If you want you can stay the night.”-Vaughn

 

Syd sat down on the couch.

“Sark’s a dead man, he'll be as soon as he does anything to you again.”-Vaughn

 

“Come sit down.”-Syd

Vaughn walked over to the couch and sat down next to her started kissing her.

 

“I wish I could quit the CIA.”-Syd

 

“Maybe someday we both will“-Vaughn

A man came up to the kitchen window and shot through it making a huge hole. Syd and Vaughn turned around to see a man dressed in a black suit pulling himself through the window.

“So I see you're still alive.”-(the man said with a British accent.)

The man pointed his gun at Vaughn, he shot and missed they both got down and rolled off the couch. Sydney started to giggle.

“This way.”-Vaughn whispered

The man heard vaughn talking and shot another bullet at him and missed again, the bullet hit the wall.

“Hide in the bathroom.”-Sydney whispered in Vaughn’s ear

“Why?”-Vaughn whispered back.

“Because there are bullet-proof windows in there.”-Syd

“Ok, but I just want to be with you.” Vaughn whispered

“I’ll be in the closet.”-Syd

The man walked up behind them and shot. He missed again and the bullet hit the back of the chair.

Vaughn and Syd ran into the garage, got into Vaughn’s car and drove off to the CIA building leaving Sark at Vaughn’s house.

“We’ve gotta go back and give him what he deserves.”-Sid

“I know, but we’re better off going to the CIA about this rather than going after him ourselves.”-Vaughn

Sydney agreed with vaughn and she they leaned over and kissed, short but still romantic. It was just the start of breaking protocol.

Syd leaned into Vaughn’s chest and kissed him, all lips. vaughn kissed her back and the two of them kissed again.

Vaughn realized that he wasn’t paying attention to the road and quickly pulled away.

“what?”-Syd

“we’re not going to get anywhere if I’m not paying attention to the road.”

Syd giggled. A black truck got right behind Vaughn’s car and sark pointed his gun at the back of the car.

 

CHAPTER 4

 

Sark shot at a hole in the back of Vaughn’s car. they both looked back, sark shot again, hitting the windshield. Sydney ducked.

“we better get there fast or he's going to blow apart the car.”

“I know“-Vaughn

Sark shot again, this time hitting the back seat, Vaughn ducked while trying to drive.

“Go faster.”-Sydney

Vaughn sped up to 80 mph and took a drive around 3 neighborhoods and finally lost him. Sydney kissed vaughn, Vaughn kissed her back, Sydney kissed him again. finally vaughn wasn't paying attention to where he was going and crashed into a house, leaving the two of them unconscious in the up-side-down car.

Two women and a man came running out of the house to see a car crashed into their living room window. The man went back into the house and called for an ambulance.

An ambulance arrived at 717 77th street along with three police cars and two fire trucks, Syd and Vaughn remained unconscious. the two of them were removed from the up-side-down vehicle and were gently placed into the ambulance.

Vaughn awoke in a hospital room, away from Syd, he was hoping she was ok. It all was his fault, and it was all because they wanted to get to the CIA faster.

In the lobby, Jack sat among about a million empty chairs. he was praying that Syd was ok. Vaughn on the other hand, well he was hoping he was alive too.

A doctor walked over to him and handed him two folders.

“Are they ok?”-Jack

“If you want to see them, you can Mr. Bristow.”-doctor

“Take me to Sydney, please.”-Jack

The doctor lead him to Syd's room, room 3337, Jack walked in.

“she's awake, right?”

“Of course she is.”

Syd's POV

My body ached, I wonder where Vaughn is, I thought, hoping he was ok.
I looked over and saw that my leg was in a cast up to my knee and above it, my thigh was bandaged from 2 days earlier, my wrist was also in a cast.
I looked up to see my dad looking over at me. If I didn't tell Vaughn to speed, this never would have happened.

No POV

“Where's Vaughn?”-Syd

“He's across the hall.”-doctor

“Dad?”-Syd

“Hi sweetie, how are you feeling?”-Jack

“I feel like hell and I’m so uncomfortable. I want to get out of here as soon as possible.”-Syd

“You have to stay for two blood tests and then you can leave.”-doctor

“Then on with the tests.”-Syd

“I need you to step out a minute Mr. Bristow.”-doctor

Jack walked out of the room and sat down on a chair in the hall. A nurse came in with the blood testers. Syd gave the nurse her arm, the nurse opened the tester and grabbed an extra long needle and attached it to the tester. She stuck it through syd's belly button and it went through her back too.

“Ow, ow, ow.” She grabbed the nurse's neck and squeezed it so hard she almost strangled her. She wished that she squeezed harder. The doctor walked over to her.

“Are you ok?”-doctor

“No, please get this thing out of me.”-Syd

The doctor got a surgeon into her room, Jack saw all the commotion and followed him in.

“I'm sorry we need to do immediate surgery to get a needle out of her stomach.”-doctor

“What is going on? I thought she was in there to get some blood tests done.”-Jack

“Yes, but the nurse was trying to kill her, I don't know why.”-doctor

“Dad.”- Syd said in a weak voice

Jack walked out of the room without hearing Syd it all. He walked into Vaughn’s room.

“Where is Vaughn?”-Syd

“she's alive for now, I don't know how long she will be though. I need to get some info so I'm going to have to leave you two here for a while.”-Jack

Jack walked out of the hospital...

Two hours had gone by and the doctors hadn't made any progress on Syd, but finally the surgeon pulled out the needle with a pair of teasers. The doctor went to the other side of the room and got two huge bandages and stuck one on her belly button and one over the spot on her back.

“Thanks Dr. what's your name?”-Sid

“Dr. loncus.”-doctor

“Thanks doctor loncus.”-Syd

He went to go get another nurse.

He came back with nurse Shi-Shi, he handed her two blood testers. She stuck the first one in Syd's arm extremely hard causing some blood to flow onto the floor.

Doctor Loncus saw what happened and grabbed nurse Shi-Shi.

“Are you nurse Calcoa?”-Dr. Loncus

“Yes, now let me go.”-nurse Shi-Shi

“No.”-Dr. Loncus

The surgeon took the tester out of syd's arm and put a huge bandage over it.
Nurse Calcoa got free and stuck the second tester in syd's upper arm. Syd pulled away causing her skin to rip, she screamed in pain.

The surgeon walked over and took the second tester out and quickly covered it with a huge bandage. The two doctors put Nurse Calcoa in a head lock.

Jack back into Vaughn’s room.

“No info, I'm going to go check on Syd, ok.”-Jack

Jack walked across the hall to Syd's room.

“What is going on, that's Nurse Calcoa.”

“Sir I'm sorry, hold on, can't you see we are having a problem here.”-Dr. Loncus

“Yeah, and I want out.”-Syd

Jack walked into Syd's room and carried her out into the hall, he set her down on a chair out side the room and got her a wheelchair. He placed her in it and pushed her over to Vaughn’s room.

“Hey.”-Vaughn

“Don't ask.”-Syd

“Alright Michael please come with me.” 

 

Jack helped him out of the bed and the two of them pushed Sydney out of the hospital. They got to Jack's car and they both helped Sid into the backseat, Vaughn sat down next to her.

Jack got into the car and they drove off. syd kissed him, vaughn kissed her back and syd kissed him again.

She laid her head on Vaughn’s chest and put her leg on the seat. Jack looked back at them he didn't even interfere, he saw that his daughter was happy and that was all that mattered.

By the time they got to Jack's house Syd was already asleep.

Jack looked back.

“What can I say, she's so nice and kind and when she sleeps on you can hardly feel her.”-Vaughn

“I promise I will support you dating from now on, that is if you convince her to leave the CIA.”-Jack said as if he was on drugs.

Sid awoke and Vaughn carried her to the front door, Jack followed and opened the door. They all walked in.

“You’re going to have to stay at my house, since nether of yours’ are safe.”-Jack

Syd and Vaughn looked over at the stairway to see what they never expected to see.

CHAPTER 5

 

“Mom?”-Syd

“Jack why didn't you tell me they were coming?”-Irina

“Two words: car crash.”-Vaughn

“Oh my god.”-Irina

She ran over to Sid and hugged her.

“Dad? Why didn't you tell me?”-Syd

“No one can tell even a soul in heaven about this, understand.”-Jack

“You helped her escape from FBI custody? I thought she died in Kashmir?”-Vaughn

Jack quickly shut the front door and lead them to the second floor family room.

Syd and Vaughn sat down on the couch.

“Ok everyone.”-Jack

Irina sat down on a chair between Syd and Jack,

“Kendall was never going to trust me and let me out of that cell so Jack helped me escape in Kashmir and I ended up living in this huge house never to be let out.”-Irina

“Kendall thinks you're dead.”-Syd

“I did too for a while.”-Vaughn

“Yes, Kendall does and it will stay that way, forever.”

“We all did except for you.” Syd pointed at Jack.

“So everyone is going to have to put up with each other for at least a week or so.”-Jack

“There's only one bed.”-Syd

“No there’s two.”-Irina

Sydney was confused.

“There's one on the third floor, we have a big house for a reason.”-Irina

“Third floor?”-Vaughn

“Yeah, the attic.”-Jack

“You can't be serious.”-Vaughn

“What's wrong?”-Syd

“Nothing.”-Vaughn

“It's furnished.”-Irina

“Oh, good.”-Vaughn

“We've been wearing the same clothes for three days.”-Syd

“Everyone except Jack follow me.”-Irina

Vaughn carried syd to the room across the hall still following irina, he put Syd on the bed and sat down next to her.

“Michael, is it?”-Irina

“Yeah.”-Vaughn

“Here.” She threw a black Linkin Park t-shirt over to him.

Sydney looked extremely confused.

“What? we can see concerts too.” She threw another Linkin Park t-shirt over to Syd.

Irina left the room. Syd and Vaughn looked over to see Linkin Park, Sum 41, Simple Plan, Saliva, and Trapt posters all over the walls.

“Oh my god.”-Syd

“I know.”-Vaughn

The two of them changed into their Linkin Park t-shirts. Vaughn started dancing on Irina and Jack's bed.

CHAPTER 6

 

“Hey, stop it.” Syd

Vaughn sat down next to her and kissed her, Syd kissed him back and he kissed her again. Irina walked into the room.

“I see you two are having fun.”

They both looked up and quickly stopped kissing. Irina saw how embarrassed they were.

“This is like the strangest day.”-Syd

“I know.”-Vaughn

“I know you are still in shock, but if you tell anyone, I mean anyone our happy lives are over.”-Irina

“Kendall is going to have your head if he finds out about this, and for dessert he'll have Jack's too.”-Vaughn

“I'm aware of that that's why you can't tell anyone.”-Irina

“Sark's after me.”-Syd

“What does he want??-Irina

“I don't know, but he keeps trying to kill us, in the car, at sd-6, I mean the old sd-6, at Vaughn’s house.”-Syd

“He tried to kill you at sd-6 not me.”-Vaughn

“Ok, fine, but at your house and in the car he was trying to kill the both of us.”-Syd

“Michael, Jack wants to talk to you.”-Irina

“No he doesn't.”-Vaughn

“Yes, he does, that's why I came in here in the first place.”-Irina

“I don't trust you that much.”-Vaughn

“Fine whatever.”-Irina

Syd's cell phone rang,

“Hello?”-Syd

“Have you made up your mind yet?”-voice

“Leave me alone, i'm in enough pain.”-Syd

“Oh, are you talking about your thigh, Anna told me all about it, she said you looked like you were going to die.”-voice

“That too.”-Syd

“Your nurse friend misses you.”-voice

“Shut up Sark.”-Syd

“Come on, when are you going to decide?”-Sark

“If you're so curious fine, I got in a car crash.”-Syd

“With who, your dear love Vaughn?”-Sark

At that moment Sydney wished she wasn't hurt so when sark came near her she could hurt him so bad so that he could never move again.

“Listen, you're going to get your little British ass whopped next time you happen to come near me.”-Syd

“Like you could do that.”-Sark

“Want to bet 1 million dollars that I can?”-Syd

“Where are you, Sydney?”-Sark

“At a warehouse, sark's warehouse.”-Syd

“Very funny.”-Sark

“Not really.”-Syd

“It was a good joke.”-Sark

“This is a joke, why did the chicken cross the road? what I just said wasn't a joke.”-Syd

“I have an answer to your joke.”-Sark

“Go ahead, let me hear your lame answer.”-Syd

“To eat Sydney alive.”-Sark

"you think that's funny sarkie?" and she threw her cell phone through irina's window, causing the window to shatter into a thousand pieces.

"oh my god"-vaughn

"yep it was sarkie."-syd

"sarkie?"-vaughn

"what? you didn't know that's how i tease him."-syd

"that's funny"-irina

"it is"-vaughn

"maybe so"-syd

"come with me both of you"-irina

irina lead them to the other side of the house where there was a stairway that went up to the third floor attic. vaughn carried syd upstairs and irina followed behind, the three of them walked into the room.

CHAPTER 7

 

vaughn sat syd down on the bed and just stood in front of her staring at her. syd pushed him onto the floor,

"she's going to be a handful."-irina

"i know" and he pulled syd off the bed. she fell smack-dab on top of him, vaughn held her tight.

"mom, help me, the evil prince is going to kill me."-syd

"i'm not evil"-vaughn

"can't you take a joke?"-syd

"oh" vaughn grabbed his gun out of his pocket and pointed it at syd. he said-"who sent you here? Sydney, you must tell me."

"or what, i'm grounded?"-syd

vaughn pretended to pull the trigger and made a fake "boom" noise.

syd fell to the ground and closed her eyes pretending to be dead.

"all right. now you can do anything, but repeat events that some of us would like to forget."-irina

"mom?"-syd

"we were just playen."-vaughn

"play without real weapons. what if you would have loaded it and you accidentally pulled the trigger? then it would be, bye bye to my daughter."-irina

Sydney opened her eyes.

"i'm sorry, i won't ever do it again."-vaughn

"mom, can you ever have fun? just for once."-syd

irina grabbed a hairdryer and pointed it at the doorway. "this is how it's done." without irina knowing jack walked into the doorway. irina pretended to shoot and made a fake "boom" noise. Sydney and vaughn started laughing.

"what?"-irina

"what the hell are you doing? irina?"-jack

"come on, it's funny, isn't it?"-irina

"for agents to do this, no."-jack

"vaughn" said syd pointing to his gun. he carefully put it into his pocket without jack knowing.

"You aren't children anymore."-jack

"That doesn't mean we can't have fun."-vaughn

"Plus Sydney the doctor said "bed rest"."-jack

"Imp not a kid, i can do whatever I want."-syd

"this is my house."-jack

"it's mine too and she's my daughter."-irina

"she's my daughter too."-jack

"come on, if you can go to a Linkin Park concert, you can leave us alone about this."

"fine." and he walked out of the room...

CHAPTER 8

 

as soon as jack got downstairs, the phone rang. they raced down the stairs, finally Sydney answered the phone.

"hello?"-syd

"who is this?"-Kendall

"god, you don't know who this is, the one an only Sydney Bristow, that's who."-syd

"don't be a show off. you haven't been at work all week."-Kendall

"would you go to the CIA if you didn't have to?"-syd

"is this the right number?"-syd

"I suppose you want to talk to my dad."-syd

"yes, that's what I want."-Kendall

"hold on"-syd

"who is it?"-jack

"Kendall"-syd

syd handed jack the phone.

"hello?"-jack

"where are you?"-Kendall

"at my house"-jack

"that's not where you're supposed to be, is it."-Kendall

"deviling gave me the day off."-jack

"get down here now."-Kendall

"I can't"-jack

"why not?"-Kendall

"because I have to take care of Sydney, that's why."-jack

"she's a big girl, she can take care of herself."-Kendall

"you can't make me come in, I have the day off."-jack

"you're coming, and that's that."-Kendall

"but-----------"-jack

Kendall hung up, jack put the phone down.

"I have to go in."-jack

"I can't take care of a full house."-irina

"you're going to have to."-jack

"all right, but one day I’m going to slap that Kendall across the face."-irina

"yah, me too."-syd

"please tell him that I quit."-vaughn

"yah, I’m out too."-syd

"you're quitting, both of you", jack said with a big smile on his face.

"yep."-syd & vaughn

"I’ll try to get Kendall to agree with that", jack said as he walked out the door.

"so what's everyone want to do now?"-vaughn

as soon as jack's car left the driveway,

"all right everyone, this is the one and only Sydney Bristow, the one that will kick your a$$ if you come near her."-syd

"yah right."-vaughn

"watch me", and syd jumped out of Vaughn’s arms and kicked him in the butt.

"is that as hard as you can kick?"-vaughn

Sydney punched him in the stomach, extremely hard.

"hey your my girlfriend, you don't have the right to beat me up."-vaughn

"you asked."-syd

"I told you that she was going to be a handful."-irina

"I know" and without looking vaughn kicked her in her left thigh.

"ouch, vaughn."-syd

irina went over to syd and wrapped her arms around her.

"I’m so sorry syd, I’ll look before I kick next time."-vaughn

"please be careful around her."-irina

"I’ll try", and he kissed her, syd kissed him back and vaughn kissed her again.

and all of a sudden a man blew a gun hole through the patio door.

CHAPTER 9

 

"duck" said irina as she ran into the closet and shut the door.

syd and vaughn jumped to the floor, a man in a black body suit got down next to syd and pointed a gun at her head.

"come with me or I’ll shoot." said a man with a British accent.

Sydney twisted his arm and threw him onto the ground.

"ow, you're going to pay for that."

sark got up and hit Sydney in the head with his gun, syd kicked him in his balls.

"ow, ow, ow." said sark while gasping in pain

vaughn saw what was going on and kicked sark in the back. sark got up and threw vaughn into a chair, the chair rolled over and knocked over the lamp causing the coffee table to hit the TV. all at once everything crashed to the ground.

Sydney jumped onto the couch and grabbed a glass figure from the shelf above.

"please don't throw that at me."-sark

syd threw the figure at sark, but missed. sark ran over to the couch in high speed and push syd through an open window.

vaughn got up and ran over to the window hoping syd was ok.

"help me please."-syd

vaughn looked down to see syd hanging on to a single piece of siding.

"syd, hold on." vaughn carefully grabbed syd by he arm and pulled her back into the house.

sark saw that the two of them were safe and he grabbed off of the floor, pointing it at the back of syd's head. vaughn looked back,

"syd, duck."

syd slid across the couch, sark shot and missed, he shot again hitting the window. vaughn ran over to sark and pushed him to the floor, cause sark to drop his gun.

syd ran over and picked up sark's gun, pointing it at him.

"please don't shoot."

"why do you want me to come with you?"-syd

"I can't tell you that, but I can tell you that sloane wants to find you and kill you."-sark

"you SOB, tell me why you want her."-vaughn

"sloane knows that you're in the prophecy."-sark

"why are you telling me this?"-syd

"because I work for him."-sark

"duh, tell me why he or you want me."-syd

"he wants you because you are the person in the prophecy."-sark

"she can always pull the trigger."-vaughn

"what else?"-syd

"he wants you to work with us again."-sark

"are you insane?"-syd

"she will pull the trigger if she has to."-vaughn

"plus he----------- he-------- no I want to---------- never mind."-sark

"tell me or I’ll shoot."-syd

sark tried to say what he had to, but nothing came out of his mouth. syd quickly pulled the trigger, and sark just lay on the ground bleeding half to death.

"that's what happens when you don't listen to my girlfriend."-vaughn

CHAPTER 10

 

"I guess sloane has even more reason to kill you now", said sark in a weak voice.

irina peeked out of the closet, hoping sark didn't see her.

yah, I know I’m an idiot. I should be out there helping them, not hiding from sark for my own personal gain. but anyhow what-so-ever I have to hide or word will get back to Kendall.

irina quickly snuck her head back into the closet without sark noticing.

"anybody seen Derek?"-sark

syd and vaughn looked at each other "no"

"I heard that she was in Kashmir, but I’m curious, where could she be."-sark

"I have a gun and I can always use it again."-syd

"I used to think that you weren't so bad, I guess I was wrong", vaughn said as he grabbed out some rope from under the couch.

sark grabbed his headset from his back pocket. "Anna, you can move in now."

anna walked into the house through the open patio door.

"i should of known better not to leave you in sd-6 alone, if i only could replay that day."

"you bitch."-Vaughn

Sydney tossed over her gun, vaughn caught it, and shot he missed causing the bullet to hit the wall. he shot again aiming downward at sark, missing again.

"you're an idiot."-anna

"yah, think so?" and vaughn kicked her in the butt.

"of course i had to be right about one thing. never kick a girl in the butt." anna kicked vaughn in the stomach, he fell on top of sark.

"i will always be right about one thing too. I’m the winner and you're the looser."-syd

"we'll see about that."-anna

vaughn got up, "syd, come on follow me to the car."

they ran out to the driveway and got into the black Toyota. sydney turned the radio on really loud so that anna and sark would know where they were. then the drove off.

"syd."-vaughn

"what?"-syd

"your mom's still at the house."-vaughn

"they don't know that."-syd

two people got on top of their car and drilled through the back side of the car. vaughn pulled over, the two of them quickly slide under the car. anna got inside the car seeing that they weren't there and happened to look under the vehicle to see syd and vaughn hiding.

Sid woke up in a dirty cell, far away from vaughn, a man walked in...

"i know how you feel right now, but soon enough you will be so much more than that." he said as he walked toward her cell.

CHAPTER 11

"Stay far away from me. you destroyed 9 years of my life."-syd

"Now now. Sydney, you know how much i love you and you know that i would never hurt you."-Sloane

"Well, if that's true let me out of this cell."-Sid

"No not just yet."-Sloane

"Why not?"-Sloane

"Why did you even try to escape this life? you knew once you were recruited, you would be part of my plan forever."-Sloane

"You're insane."-Syd

"Maybe so. remember the day that Emily Invited you for dinner last year, the day that page 47 disappeared? Sydney, i know that you stole that page. Where is it, and what was on it?"-Sloane

"Nothing that concerns you."-Syd

"Rambaldi is my life, tell me what you did with that page." Sloane said as he shook the door of her cell.

"GO TO HELL"-Syd

"MAKE ME."-Sloane

Anna walked into the hall,

"Do you need anything sir?"

"No I don't, but can you get her to tell me where the damn page is."-Sloane

"Yes sir, anything you want."-Anna

Anna looked at Syd through the cell doors, pulling out her gun.

"Tell me where you put the page and what was on it."

"Never."-Syd

"Why not?"-Sloane

"Because she's on it."-said a voice down the hall.

Sark walked up to them with his arm in a sling. “I said she's the one in the prophecy."

"Why do you say that?"-Sloane

"NSA raid complete."-Sark

"Bristow's the prophecy?"-sloane

"Do you still want her?"-Anna

"Of course."-sloane

"LET ME OUT," screamed Sydney

"why would I do that?"-Anna

"I don't care why. Just let me out now," Sydney said shaking the door of her cell.

"Evil must be eliminated."-sark

"The only evil in her is all of you."-syd

Sydney put her arms through the cell bars and grabbed Anna’s neck and threw her to the ground. Sloane opened her cell door and walked in.

"If you ruin my plans in anyway, I will kill you Sydney. Understand that?"-Sloane

"Just kill her, she won't do us any good."-Sark

"No, I’m afraid I can't do that." sloane said as he quickly walked out of her cell and locked it.

"GO TO HELL ALL OF YOU."-Syd

"I know you're angry, but you're not going anywhere."-Sloane

Anna got up from the ground.

"You'll pay for that."

"Yah, well you will as soon as I get out of here."-Syd

"Leave her alone for now. we'll start the questioning tomorrow at 10 am sharp."-Sloane

"All right, but what if she's even more crazy by then?"-Anna

"Then she is what she is."-Sark

And they all walked down to the other side of the hall.

 

CHAPTER 12

 

Sydney’s pov

If i don't stop him somehow, he will kill me and probably everyone i love and care about. There has to be a way out of here. where's Vaughn? is he in L.A. or did he get captured too?

my only hope is that, well, the CIA doesn't end up thinking that i'm the one in the prophecy, even though that is the least of my problems right now.

Jack started pacing around the kitchen, wondering how everything could of happened. "what do You mean she was captured? Who was here? Is Sydney ok?”

 

 He kept repeating the same questions over and over again as if Irina knew everything, everything that happened that is.

"Jack, let me explain---"

Jack cut her off, "explain what? why our only daughter is most-likely dead."

"If I didn't hide, Sark and Anna would know that I'm alive and that I'm in L.A. I didn't want them to find me, I didn't want that for us as a family, don't you get that? Please Jack, forgive me for what I have done, I was helping you not betraying you."-Irina

"Fine, but if Sydney turns out dead because of this, then I will kill you and bury your body in federal prison, got that?"-Jack

"Fare enough, but if Kendall finds out then he'd have you called to court for property damage, and once he figures out what you did you'll end up in federal prison."-Irina

"Yah, you're right. how's a parking garage downtown?"-Jack

"How 'bout you kill sloane instead."-Irina

"Sloane? You're the one who let them get away for personal gain. They are Sloane's employees, they are supposed to be captured, not free to run around the world and kill people."-Jack

"Gotcha"-Irina

"Now go and try to find out where they went."-Jack

"Jack, i'm restricted to the house, remember?"-Irina

Jack took out his gun and loaded it,

"Not if i kill Kendall."

"You're no murderer."-Irina

"Yah, you're right," and he put the gun down.

Vaughn walked into the house.

"Where's Sydney?"-Jack and Irina

"They took her and left the state, I think."-Vaughn

"You're the most irresponsible person I know."-Jack

"What?"-Irina

"My daughter is most likely in another country for all we know. Sloane could of killed her already."-Jack

"Sloane wants her because she's in the prophecy."-Irina

"Sloane what?"-Jack

"He wants Sydney because she's in the prophecy."-Vaughn

"How does he know that she's in the prophecy, he never had that page."-Jack

"I don't know, his sources are unknown. He could have out anyway, knowing Sloane."-Irina

"Even though, I hate to say this, she's right."-Vaughn

"I know she is, but-------"

Vaughn cut him off "Can we just focus on finding Sydney for now, the rest can come later."-Vaughn

"Alright Agent Vaughn, come with me, I'm sure Sydney would like you to be the one to rescue her."-Jack

"You can't just leave me here wondering if you're dead or alive, if my daughter's dead or alive."-Irina

"Well, I either end up in federal prison for helping you escape or you can simply rot in the house until somebody comes up with a way we fix our little problem."-Jack

"I get your point."-Irina

"Aren't we going to leave?"-Vaughn

"Yeah, sure, come with me."-Jack

They left the house, got into the silver Buick Century and drove off.

 

CHAPTER 13

 

"So how are we going to get to Switzerland without an airplane?"-Vaughn

"Excellent question Michael, i'm planning on hijacking a plane from American Airlines so we can fly half-way across the world and save Sydney."-Jack\

Vaughn was in shock, Jack had never called him Michael before, maybe it was because he was dating Sydney.

"You're not serious, are you?"-Vaughn

"Well, yah sure, of course I am."-Jack

"You could get thrown in prison."-Vaughn

"I'm glad you can see that."-Jack

"Where's my resignation form?"-Vaughn

Jack reached over to the back seat, grabbing a 6-10 page form and handed it to Agent Vaughn.

"Here, yah happy?"-Jack

"No, not without Sydney."-Vaughn

"I understand that, but we need to concentrate on hijacking the aircraft."-Jack

Vaughn looked at Jack realizing that he was serious. "Ok, how 'bout we steal that 747 over there (Vaughn points) at the Los Angles Airport."

"Got a better idea, (jack points about 100 ft of the last one) how about the one over there."

"The one with silver wings?"-Vaughn

"Yep."-Jack

"Gotcha."-Vaughn

Jack pulled over and got out of the car.

SWITZERLAND

Sydney’s pov

It was mid-morning, kind of peaceful in this cell, even though it's dirty. What did Sloane mean when he said 'we start the questioning tomorrow at ten am sharp?' It was ten fifty-eight, two minutes away from the suspected torture. Vaughn appears to be back in L.A. since there has been no talk of him. I wish he was here to protect me and help me escape. If he was then I might of been out of this hell by now. I glanced at the clock, it wasn't 9:59 am, it was 10 exactly.

Before Sydney could even try to escape, Sloane, Sark and Anna walked back down the hall reaching Sydney's cell.

"Are you ever going to let me out of here?"-Sydney

"No."-Sark

"Now, now lets be nice to her, she is my grand prize after all."-Sloane

"What the hell are you talking about?"-Sydney

"Let's get down to business."-Sloane

"What is that supposed to mean?"-Sydney

"I just want to ask you a few harmless questions."-Sloane

"Yah right."-Sydney

"I don't expect you to trust me, but I need you Sydney, I need you for my life-long project."-Sloane

"Get someone else on your side."-Sydney

"First of all Sydney, I'm not going to treat you like a Rambaldi artifact. I just simply want you to become aware of some things."-Sloane

"Then after that?"-Sydney

"You will live your destiny"-Sloane

"What the hell are you talking about?"-Sydney

"You'll see."-Sloane

Anna opened her cell door. Some guards escorted her down the hall following Sloane.

CHAPTER 14

 

They finally reached a newly built staircase. Sydney tried to get away, but the guards grabbed her by the arms and lead her up to the top floor with Sloane following. Once they reached the 47th floor, Sloane opened the door. There were 2 TVs, a bed, a table, a couch, 2 chairs, a table along with a kitchen. The guards let go of Sydney while Sloane sat down on the couch.

"What's going on?" Sydney questioned as she walked over to a chair and sat down.

"This is where you'll be staying."-Sloane

"So what did you want to talk to me about?"-Sydney

"I'm curious Sydney, about the page, the so-called-prophecy. What did you do with it?"-Sloane

"I gave it to the CIA."-Sydney

"As expected."-Sloane

"I'm not that predictable."-Sydney

"Prove me otherwise."-Sloane

"Ok, so maybe I'm predictable most of the time."-Sydney

"It least we are agreeing on something."-Sloane

L.A.

"Come on Michael, we don't have all day here." Jack said as he started climbing over the fence.

"I'm coming." Vaughn said as he got out of the car and ran over to the fence.

"Are you coming or what?"-Jack

"Yah, sure, I'm coming." Vaughn said as he climbed up the fence and jumped down.

"Now who's being the slow-poke?"-Vaughn

Jack quickly jumped over. "Do you want me to report to Kendall that you and Sydney are dating? Or do you want to keep your mouth shut?"

"I think I'll keep my mouth shut."-Vaughn

"Good."-Jack

The two of them ran over to the 747 air plane with silver wings.

INSIDE THE AIRPORT

"See the two guys over there? They're going to get themselves killed."-Airport security guy 1

"Yah, i see them. Chris can you take care of them for me?"-Airport security guy 2

"Yah, sure."-Army guy

A red truck pulled up behind Jack and Vaughn.

"You're going to have to come with me under the suspicion of being terrorists."-Army guy

"I told you this wasn't a good idea."-Vaughn

Vaughn and Jack turned around and got into the security guy's truck.

3 HOURS LATER

Jack and Vaughn were sitting in a room hand-cuffed to their chairs.

"Why were you on the runway?"-US Army guy

"I wanna save Sydney."-Vaughn

"shhh."-Jack

"What, I mean who do you want to save?"-Airport security guy 1

"SYDNEY." screamed Vaughn

"Who is Sydney?"-Airport security guy 2

"My girlfriend."-Vaughn

"Michael shut up."-Jack

"Why do you need an airplane to save your girlfriend?"-US Army guy

"WE'RE CIA."-Vaughn yelled

"Can i see some ID?"-Airport security 1

"It's in my back pocket and I'm tied down so I can't reach it."-Vaughn

"Ditto."-Jack

The second security guy untied Vaughn and reached into his back pocket pulling out his ID and tied him back down.

"I told you i was in there."-Vaughn

"I'll ask you again, why do you need an aircraft to save your girlfriend?"-US Army guy

"Because she's in Switzerland."-Vaughn

CHAPTER 15

 

"If you're CIA, then why would you want to hijack an aircraft from American Airlines?"-Airport security guy 2

"TO SAVE SYDNEY."-Vaughn

"No comment."-Jack

"I'm sorry, but you will have to stay in our custody for a while, until we decide what to do with you."-Airport security guy 1

SWITZERLAND

"So what did you want to talk to me about?"-Syd

"Sydney, this might take awhile to understand, but you deserve to know." Sloane spoke those words as if he was the highest of all human kind.

"Know what? What the hell are you talking about?"-syd

"Sydney you aren't----"

Sydney cut him off "I'm not what?"

"Jack's daughter."-Sloane

"What?"-syd

"You're not Jack's daughter."-Sloane

"Then who's daughter am I?"-syd

Irina's pov

Ok now, I'm really getting worried, what the hell is taking them so long? Did they start their plan yet? What am I doing, just sitting here waiting for the worst thing possible to happen to Sydney. If I was only allowed out of the house. Wait a second, Jack isn't here, that means I can do whatever i want, even if that means leave this damn place to save my daughter - the one thing that matters to me.

Irina ran out of the house, got into Vaughn’s car, started it and drove off to the Los Angles Airport. She grabbed his cell phone sitting on the dash bored and dialed Weiss' number.

"Hello?"-Weiss

"Do not report this conversation."-Irina

"Is this who I think it is?"-Weiss

"Yes, this is Irina Derevko speaking. Jack and Michael went over to the Los Angles airport to hijack an airplane to save Sydney from Sloane, Sark and Anna."-Irina

"How'd you escape?"-Weiss

"Jack." Irina said right before she hung up the phone.

Weiss hung up his phone.

"Any leads on Derevko?"-Kendall

"None."-Weiss

"What the Hell is going on here?"-Kendall

"Are you talking about Jack and Vaughn hijacking an airplane or Jack letting Derevko escape?"-Weiss

"Jack and Agent Vaughn are hijacking what?"-Kendall

"An airplane."-Weiss

"Derevko's alive?"-Kendall

"Yep, alive and well."-Weiss

"Bristow's dead." Kendall said as he walked away

"Oh, ok."-Weiss

"You're mine."-Sloane

"What?"-Syd

"Yep, you're mine and Irina's."-Sloane

"No."-Syd

I couldn't believe it, I wish Vaughn was here. Why this? Why this life? If this only wasn't true.

"GET SOME REST." Sloane yelled as he walked out of the room with the guards and locked the door from the outside.

Sydney's pov

I was stunned, Jack wasn't my father, none of it made any sense, I wished it did. What was taking them so long? I would think they would be here by now, here to rescue me from this hell, so I wouldn't regret living. I wonder if anything happened to them.

Irina was driving the car down the interstate, hoping she could hijack a 747 so she could go save Sydney from whatever mess she was in.

Oh god, that's the Los Angles Airport. Michael and Jack were supposed to hijack an Airplane from there so they could save Sydney. It doesn't look like any are missing. Well, whatever, I'll save Sydney on my own.

Irina pulled over, got out of the car and climbed over the fence reaching the ground. "Now that's how you break into an airplane parking lot," Irina screamed as she walked over to a 747, climbed onto one of the wings, and opened the door. She went up to the pilot's seat, sat down and took off.

INSIDE THE AIRPORT

"When are they going to let us go?" Vaughn whispered

"Probably never." Jack whispered back

"Hey, is there a chance that I could get something to drink?"-Vaughn

"Is soda ok?"-Security guy 1

"Yah, sure."-Vaughn

The first security guy got a soda out of the fridge and handed it to Vaughn.

"I can't drink this unless you untie me."-Vaughn

The second security guy untied Vaughn. "Here yah go, happy now?"

"Yeah."-Vaughn

I'm going to kill Bristow when I get to the airport. He can't escape me forever. He'll pay for letting Derevko escape from federal custody to live in peace.

Irina's pov

If I only knew how to fly a plane to Switzerland. Well, I'm going to do it and when I get back I'll be experienced. I hope Sydney doesn't already know the truth, if she does, she will never forgive me or trust me again. She'll hate me forever for not telling her the truth, she'll despise me, she'll never understand that I only lied to her so she could have something in live that wasn't a disaster - her family, even though her family is pretty messed up already.

Oh my god, is that the Statue of Liberty? Oh my god! Yes, it is, only further to go. A little, a lot. That's more like it.

Sydney's pov

Sydney grabbed a glass figure off the mantle and threw it at the wall, the figure shattered into a million pieces. She started crying again, wondering why this was to become of her life as soon as it was starting again. Maybe Sloane was right, her destiny was not with what she knew, it was with the unknown. She had a terrible feeling that something even worse than SD-6 was to happen to her, maybe it was already starting to happen. But the little that she knew, the little that she could figure out told her that something bad was going to happen to her.

CHAPTER 17

 

 

SWITZERLAND SEVERAL HOURS LATER

Irina got out of the airplane, preparing herself to steal a car from a dealership down the road. She walked down the street for about a mile until she reached the car dealer. she ran over to a black mustang convertible, opened the door and started it.

Irina's POV

Apparently whomever drove this car last the keys on the dashboard. How stupid, don't they know that people all over the world want to steal nice cars that cost a fortune. Why the hell am I thinking about cars? I need to save Sydney, I need to do that now before it's too late and I get even more side-tracked.

Irina backed out of the parking space and drove away.

L.A. AIRPORT

"Are you going to even consider letting us go?"-Jack

"Since September 11th, 2001 we have been very careful about who and what we let slide around here. So if you're thinking about getting away with anything, I suggest that you forget about your little plan even if it involves saving a life."-US Army guy

"We aren't trying to do anything anymore."-Vaughn

"How can I be so sure?"-US Army guy

"Contact our director."-Jack

"How do we know this isn't a set-up?"-Security guy 1

"It's not a set-up. If you'd just trust us---"

before Jack could finish the US Army guy cut him off, "What's his number?"

"That's funny, I don't remember."-Vaughn

Kendall walked up to the front desk.

"May I help you?"-Airport clerk

"Do you know where the security office is?"-Kendall

"It's left and straight up the hall."-Airport clerk

"Thanks." Kendall said as he walked down the hall heading to the security office.

SWITZERLAND

Irina drove up to a concrete building and grabbed a machine gun from the back seat. She got out of the car and walked around to the back of the building. She happened to glance at a down spout, she ran over to it and climbed to the top floor of the building. She took the machine gun and shot through all of the windows. She grabbed onto the inside wall and pulled herself inside of the room.

Sydney heard a bang and slowly limped in pain over to the other side of the room to see Irina staring at her.

"Mom, what the hell--- why are you------ I mean what are you doing here?"-Sydney

"Sydney please come with me now, please hurry before Sloane finds out."-Irina

"Mom, you and Sloane----"

Irina cut her off "I'll explain everything when we get home. Just come with me now."

Sydney limped in total pain as she slowly moved over to the window. Irina helped her over the ledge of broken glass and the two of them climbed down the down-spout reaching the ground.

CHAPTER 18

 

"Come on this way, before Sloane find out."-Irina

"I'm coming."-Syd limped over to whatever Irina was driving. "Mom, where did you get that car?"

"Come on Sydney, get in now."-Irina said as she got in the other side of the car.

"All right, all right, I'll get in."-She got into the car.

They drove off.

L.A. - INSIDE THE AIRPORT

Kendall got down to the security guys' office only to see Jack and Vaughn.

The first security guy took out his gun and pointed it at Kendall.

"What the hell is going on here?"-US Army guy

"I'm CIA Director Kendall," he took out his ID, "they are my agents. What kind of fuck is going on here?"

"We tried to hijack an airplane."-Vaughn

"Then we got caught."-Jack

"That part I know. What did you do with Derevko? Let her go?"-Kendall

"How do you know this?"-Jack

"Agent Weiss told me."-Kendall

"What?"-Vaughn and Jack

"Why are you trying to hijack an airplane?"-Kendall

"TO SAVE SYDNEY."-Vaughn

"Go to hell, all of you, including you security people. Loosing one agent isn't going to harm us."-Kendall

"Be an ass all you want."-Jack

"You are all in my custody until further notice. That means you Mr. Director Kendall."-US army guy

"Why?"-Jack, Vaughn, Kendall

"I'm not going to trust that you are CIA agents trying to save somebody's girlfriend."-Us Army guy

"My girlfriend."-Vaughn

"Whatever, I think your problems can wait."-US Army guy

SWITZERLAND

"Can this thing go any faster?"-Sydney

"No."-Irina

"Why not?"-Syd

"I'm going 120 mph and it can only go up to 120 mph."-Irina lied

"Gotcha."-Syd

"Sydney, I know you are mad about Sloane."

Before she could finish Sydney cut her off, "What do you care, bitch?"-Syd

"How dare you talk to your mother like that. On the other hand I deserve it."-Irina

"You just sit your ass down on a couch and watch TV all day when your only daughter is in some foreign country being held captive, What kind of mother are you anyway?"-Syd

"Sydney, I thought you'd get it by now, understand that I was only trying to protect us both."-Irina

"You were never my mother anyway."-Syd screamed

"Don't say that, you know it's not true."-Irina screamed back, hurt by what her own daughter had said, even though she deserved it.

"Well, I wish, it was." Syd Screamed again

"I don't blame you for that."-Irina

"Good."-Syd

"Good."-Irina

A van approached them from behind.

CHAPTER 19

 

"Are we almost to wherever you landed?"-Syd

"Yah, about 10 more minutes."-Irina

The mysterious van drove in front of Irina's car. The man inside pulled out his gun and shot Syd in the stomach.

"Mom."-Syd said in a weak voice

Irina looked over at Sydney to see her rubbing her stomach in pain.

"Oh my god, Sydney."-Irina said as she quickly pulled over

Irina looked ahead to see who had hot her, but he was gone. She pulled Sydney over to her side of the car, took off her jacket and wrapped it around Sydney's lower stomach. She laid her head on Irina's shoulder. Irina wrapped her arms around Sydney's weak and bloody body and got back on the road continuing to drive back to the business parking lot where the airplane was.

"Please go faster mom."-Syd said, her voice getting weaker by the minute.

"Oh Sydney, I will hold on."

Irina sped up to 175 mph, but seconds later they were being followed by a police car.

"All right Sydney, hold on, I need to loose them while we still have a chance."

Sydney and Irina held hands as Irina drove onto the sidewalk scaring several small children and adults. Finally, she reached the parking lot where she had landed the plane.

"We lost them."-Irina

"We lost them?"-Syd

"Yes, we lost them."

Irina pulled the car up to the 747, got out of the car, picked up Sydney, stepped onto the wing, walked through the door, then shutting it. She carried Syd over to a seat, blood was dripping everywhere, and set her down.

"I feel like I'm going to die."-Syd

"It's going to be ok, just let me go get a first aid kit, then we'll talk."-Irina

"Ok."-Syd

"Just stay alive for me, that's all I ask of you."-Irina

"I'll try."-Syd

Irina walked up to the front of the plane, grabbed the first aid kit and ran back. She got back over to Syd and opened the box. She took out a large pair of teasers and some gauze.

"You're not going to use that on me, are you?"-Syd

"I'm afraid I have to."-Irina said as she sat down next to her and grabbed the teasers. "I'll worn you, this is going to hurt."

"Thanks for the warning."-Syd

Irina slowly put the teasers in n the bullet hole and pulled out the bullet.

"OW."-Syd screamed

"Sorry Sydney, but I warned you."-Irina

"I know you did."-Syd

Irina grabbed the gauze and carefully wrapped it around Syd's gunshot wound.

"We have to go, just stay lying down and you should be fine."-Irina said as she slowly backed away while approaching the pilot's seat.

Irina's pov

I sat all he time that I know how to do this, but in truth I can't fly planes, save people, let alone my own daughter. I truly hope that Jack and Michael aren't in bigger trouble than I am.

Irina could just picture Jack and Vaughn, in prison, for trying to hijack an airplane. She sat down in the pilot's seat and seconds later they were heading back to L.A.

CHAPTER 20

 

1 HOUR LATER

Irina walked back over to syd.

"What took you so long?"

"I had to get it to stay on auto pilot."-Irina

"Do you have an pain-killers, cause I could really use some."-Syd

"Sorry, but you're going to have to wait till we get back to be pain-free."-Irina

"How much longer will it be till we get back to L.A.?"-Syd

"Not for about 5 or 6 hours.” she sat down next to Syd, "So what do you want to know?"

"Everything."-Syd

"Everything?"-Irina

"Yes, everything."-Syd

"All right, if you want to know, I'll tell you."-Irina

"Starting with Sloane."-Syd

"It all started after I was ordered to come to the US by my KGB handler. He told me to marry a CIA agent, Jack Bristow. Instead, I fell in love with Arvin Sloane, a former CIA agent. But then things changed, he recruited you into SD-6 against my will, I became rebellious and took over the KGB and turned myself into the CIA and ended up here, causing Sloane to believe that I was dead. Sydney, I need him to think that I'm gone so he won't come after you, hoping to go on his 'Rambaldi Journey" with you. I don't want that to happen."-Irina explained

"Does this mean I'm Sydney Sloane?"-Syd

"Not exactly. We decided that since Jack was never to know about it, we would just say you were Sydney Bristow."-Irina

"So I'm Sydney Bristow, but I'm not really Sydney Bristow."-Syd

Sloane unlocked Sydney's room door and walked inside.

"Do you think our plan will work?"-Sark

"Considering Sydney's condition, she won't last long. I highly doubt she will put up a fight for anything right now."-Sloane

"That's a good thing, right?"-Sark

"Definitely."-Anna agreed as she walked into the room.

"So how'd she escape?"-Sark

"Derevko."-Sloane

"What? I thought she was dead."-Anna

"Nope, she's still out to save Sydney from her destiny, which doesn’t
t surprise me."-Sloane

"We need a plan."-Anna

"We'll find a plan, but first she needs to discover the truth and have a life-in-pain, the rest will come later.-Sloane

"But what if we're wrong and Sydney's stronger than we think she is?"-Sark

L.A. - INSIDE THE AIRPORT

"When are we going to escape?"-Vaughn whispered to Jack

"FBI Officer Kendall, you may leave, you are classified as a non-threat."-Security guy 2

Kendall got up and left the room.

"Agent Bristow, Agent Vaughn, hijacking aircrafts or attempting to hijack aircrafts is against the law, you will need to stay here."-Security guy 1

The two of the got up and ran out the room, down the hall and out of the building. They got in their car, drove off and headed back to Jack's house.

SOMEWHERE IN L.A.

6 HOURS LATER

Sydney lay in the middle of the highway, she looked left of her to see Irina.

"Sydney, please get off the road now."-Irina screamed from the side of the road.

Sydney crawled over to the side of the road, blood was dripping everywhere, Irina could sense her pain. She lie down on her back and stared at the sky, looking weak and pale from loss of blood.

"Mom, are we ever going to get home?"-Syd

"Listen, I know I've gotten us his far, but I need a car and my car is somewhere on the other side of town so if you could just relax and have some patients, I'll get us back home."

Irina took out her cell phone and dialed Weiss' number.

"Hey Vaughn, man, I've been waiting to hear from you all day."-Weiss

"I am not Michael Vaughn. Do not report this call. I need you to pick me up. I'm on a highway by a doughnut shop, a mall, a car repair shop and a circuit city."-Irina

"Gotcha. Why do you need me to pick you up?"-Weiss

"Sydney and I'm tired."-Irina

"Fine, but where's Jack and Vaughn?"-Weiss

"I HAVE NO FREAKING IDEA."-Irina screamed

"Good enough, I'll be there in 20 minutes."-Weiss

"Thanks."-Irina said and then hung up her phone.

"Weiss will be here in 20 minutes."-Irina

Irina sat down net to Sydney, wondering why she ever ran away from her real life to find Rambaldi artifacts. She wondered why she ever gave up the chance to be a real mother, but then she realized that all hope wasn't lost and she still had a chance.

CHAPTER 22

 

Weiss drove up to the side of the road to see Sydney, barely alive and Irina in some world far, far away from reality.

"Yo Syd, get Irina back to reality for me."

"I'll try." Syd grabbed Irina by the arm, “Mom, come on, he's here."

Irina got up, lifted Syd off the ground and walked over to the car. She opened the door, Sydney climbed in and Irina sat down next to her. Weiss started the car and drove off. He looked back,

"What happened."

"Long, long story. Just get her to a CIA hospital, she isn't going to last much longer."-Irina

"I can do that."-Weiss

"Good."-Irina

"How fast would you like me to go?"-Weiss

"120."-Syd

"Are you insane?"-Weiss

"No, but I'm getting there."-Syd

"Fine, but if I end up getting a $75 ticket, you're paying for it."-Weiss

"Eric, she's sitting here in pain and you're thinking about tickets."-Irina

"Yah, you're right, I'm shallow, In fact, I'm so shallow, that I came out here and picked you up, a traitor up."-Weiss

Weiss sped up to 120 mph and headed to the CIA hospital.

JACK'S HOUSE

Jack and Vaughn drove up to Jack's house, it looked deserted, as always, no sign of any life what-so-ever. They got out of the car, walked up to the front porch and opened the door.

"Are we ever going to find Sydney?"-Vaughn

"Irina where are you, on another planet? Our plan isn't going to work."-Jack

"It doesn't sound like she's here."-Vaughn

"You check upstairs, I'll check down here."-Jack

"Fine."-Vaughn

Vaughn walked upstairs to see nothing but light on in every room, Irina was nowhere to be seen.

"Jack's going to be pissed when he find out that she's not here and that I was right and he was wrong."-Vaughn

He continued to walk through the hallway and into Irina's room. He couldn't believe that she apparently just left, but he knew it was for a good reason. He walked back into the hallway and back downstairs to see a note on the counter, by the sink, in the kitchen. Vaughn walked over to the note.

It read:

Dear jack and Michael, I don't know where you are, but I'm going to find Sydney on my own. Sorry for leaving the house, but I don't my daughter to die.

"Jack, I know where Irina is."-Vaughn screamed

Jack ran into the kitchen.

"What? You know where she is?"

"Yes."-Vaughn

"Where is she?"-Jack

"Wherever Sydney is."-Vaughn

"That's a big help."-Jack

"Jack relax, I think she's in Switzerland."-Vaughn

"How do you know that?"-Jack

"That's where Sloane is."-Vaughn

CHAPTER 23

 

"So what should we do?"-Jack

"You're asking me? All right, how 'bout we wait for them to come back."-Vaughn

"I'm only going to agree with you, because we really have no other choice."-Jack

"You shouldn't agree with me on anything, I'm an idiot."-Vaughn

"No, you're not."-Jack

CIA HOSPITAL

Weiss pulled up in the parking lot, parked and got out of the car. Irina opened her door and got out.

"Stay in the car. I'll take care of Sydney."-Weiss

"Fine, then give me the keys."-Irina

"No, your not leaving this parking lot."-Weiss

"Fine, fine, fine, have it your way."-Irina said as she lifted Sydney's unconscious, bloody body out of the car and handed her to Weiss. "Now if she is dead next time I hear from you, you won't be driving your nice BMW any longer, or any car for that matter.

"Gotcha." Weiss said a he carefully walked up to the hospital doors.

SWITZERLAND

Sark, Sloane and Anna walked out of the room, walked down 47 flights of stairs, reaching the bottom.

"You know that when Sydney finds out that you're her brother, she will become mentally unstable."-Sloane

"That's the whole plan, isn't it?"-Sark

"We do nothing it'll all take car of itself."-Sloane

"That's a good thing right?"-Anna

"Of course."-Sark

"Then why do you say 'unstable'?-Anna

"I can't say till all the truth is revealed."-Sloane

2 HOURS LATER

Sydney lay in a hospital bed, Irina was sitting in a chair next to her.

"Sydney, I know I was a bad mother, please forgive me and just give me a second chance."

Vaughn hurried into the room and sat down next to Irina.

"You look like you just committed suicide."

"In a way, I kind of did."-Vaughn

"What's your problem?"-Irina

"I'm married to Alice and Sydney in going to kill me if she finds out."-Vaughn

Even though no one knew, Sydney was listening to his every word.

Son of a bitch, how could he do this to me? We were in love, he made love to me and now I hear it was all fake, our love was fake. Player. How can he live with himself? I wish I could just fight him to the finish and after that, kill him, even though I'm not a murderer.

Before she could finish, Vaughn kissed her. Sydney pulled away.

"Get away from me, I never want to see your f***ing face again."

"Syd."-Vaughn

"Syd, I can explain."-Vaughn

"Explain what? Why you cared about Alice when you possibly cared about me. That when I needed you most your heart was still with me when it was with Alice. How can you live with yourself?"-Syd

"I think you better leave now."-Irina

"No, not until I explain."-Vaughn

"I don't want an explanation, I want you to get the hell away from me and stay the hell away from me, forever."-Syd screamed

"LEAVE NOW."-Irina screamed

"Fine."-Vaughn said as he got up and left the room.

CHAPTER 25

 

"Sydney, it's ok."-Irina

"No, it's not ok. My father is Sloane and Vaughn's married to Alice. How's that ok?

"That's not all of the truth."-Irina

"You mean.......more secrets?"-Syd

"Yes."-Irina

"Just stop right there. Don't say another word. Tell me this is all a dream, that everything will be the way it used to be."-Syd screamed

"I can't do that."-Irina

"Why not?"-Syd screamed again

"Because this is the truth."-Irina screamed back

"No, I can't accept that. Just leave now and stay as far away from me as possible."-Syd

A nurse walked into the room.

"Is everything all right in here?"

"Yes, it is."-Syd

"I'm just leaving, but I'll be back."-Irina said as she walked out the door.

"Seriously, is everything all right?"-Nurse

"Ok. Fine. It's really none of my business."-Nurse

Sydney looked over at the window, remembering she was on the 5th floor.

OUTSIDE THE HOSPITAL

"Irina, wait. I'm sorry for hurting Sydney. I really am. I was married to her ever since SD-6 was over."-Vaughn

"If you're sorry, divorce her and then commit suicide."-Irina

"No, if I'm dead, then me and Sydney are over."-Vaughn

"you're already over, if you like it or not."-Irina said as she walked back into the building.

"I might as well commit suicide."-Vaughn said sarcastically

INSIDE THE HOSPITAL

Irina ran back into Syd's room.

"I'm back."

"So what's the other secret?"-Syd

as soon as Sydney knew Irina was gone, she got out of be, ripped the IV out of her arm, walked over to the window and opened it. She crawled onto the roof.

"Let this be the end."

And she jumped.

CHAPTER 26

 

Sydney lay on the sidewalk, she was bloody and life-less. All of the sudden people from all over saw the body and rushed over to her. Irina and Vaughn saw all the commotion and went over by everyone to see what was going on. Irina looked down to see her daughter, she looked dead.

"No, Sydney, tell me this isn't happening."-Irina

Vaughn looked down at Sydney. He felt bad, he was terrified to she her sitting there. Dead or almost dead, it didn't matter, it was still all his fault.

"This is all my fault."

"Yes it is."-Irina said while picking her up and walking into the hospital.

A nurse saw Irina holding the body and ran over to her.

"What happened to her?"-Asked the nurse

"I think she jumped off of the 5th floor."-Irina

"She was a patient here?"-Nurse

"Yes, she was/is."-Irina

"I see, come with me please."-Nurse

"I would just like a guarantee that she's going to live."-Irina

"I'm really sorry, but I can't guarantee you anything. Suicide attempts are usually fatal."-Nurse

"But she's my daughter."-Irina

"All I can do is try to save her."-Nurse

"If she dies, I will probably end up committing suicide myself."-Irina

"I understand."-Nurse

"Does this mean if she dies I can kill you and Kendall?"-Irina

"Kill Kendall, not me."-Nurse

"Listen, I'm desperate. I love my daughter, I need my daughter, I can't be a mother, if my daughter just committed suicide."-Irina

"I said I'll try to save her, isn't that good enough?"-Nurse

"Fine, but if she dies, I still get to kill you."-Irina said as she handed Sydney over to the nurse.

The nurse walked away, caring Sydney back to the operation room.

My daughter wanted to die, she wanted to say "screw life" and commit suicide. I hope she lives. I'm afraid for her, her return to life didn't sound very promising. I'm a bad mother and if she dies, then I'll never get my 'second chance'.

Vaughn walked up to Irina.

"So how is she?"

"I don't know yet."-Irina

The nurse walked back over to Irina.

 

“Is she gonna be ok?”

 

“Even though she broke her ankle, wrist, arm and leg, sprained her left hip and back and cracked her head, she should be ok.”-Nurse

 

“Can I see her?”-Irina

 

“Yeah, sure, right this way.”-Nurse

 

The nurse Led them down the hall to Syd’s room, the nurse left and Vaughn walked over to her side.

 

“Syd I love you, I only married Alice to protect you, not make you try to commit suicide. She said she’d kill you if I didn’t marry her. I didn’t want that to happen, not then not ever.”

 

She opened her eyes. “So you really did love me?”

 

“Of course.”-Vaughn

 

“Michael, I love you.”-Syd

 

“I love you too.”-Vaughn

 

“Then why did you lie to me?”-Syd

 

“Because I had to. Please don’t kill me.”-Vaughn

He opened the box, took her hand and put the ring on her finger.

“So maybe I went overboard when I said that darkness was taking about your life.”-Irina

“I’m well aware of that.”-Irina

 

“How ‘bout we get out of this hell and start planning are wedding.”-Syd

 

“I doubt the evil doctors will let you leave.”-Vaughn

“Yeah.” She took out her gun. “I have the right to kill.”

“You want me to believe you’re gonna shoot me, I doubt you will.”-Alice

 

“You’re wrong.” She pulled the trigger and missed. “I’ll shoot you and you’ll be sorry.” She shot again. Alice fell to the ground. “I told you I’d shoot you.”

 

“You’ll pay.”-Alice

 

“Next time believe her when she says she’s gonna shoot you.”-Vaughn

 

Irina got out of the car. “Yeah, believe her.”

 

“Even though I jumped off the 5^th floor of a building, my aim is still just as good.”-Syd

 

“As so I hear.”-Alice said in pain before closing her eyes.

 

Vaughn carried Syd up to the house, opened the door and went inside. Irina picked up Alice’s dead and bloody body and put it in Vaughn’s garbage can, she ran into the house.

Syd, Vaughn and Irina sat on an over-sized couch on the second floor.

 

“You know October 1^st is only a month away, right?”-Irina

 

“Yes, I do.”-Syd

 

“Your point is?”-Vaughn

 

“Doesn’t it seem kinda soon?”-Irina

 

“No.”-Syd and Vaughn

 

“I mean, you’ve only been dating for like 6 or 7 months.”-Irina

“So maybe the thought crossed my mind a few times.”-Vaughn

“I think I’d better leave.”-Irina

CHAPTER 30

 

"I don't want to be in the middle of your 'sex talk'."-Irina

"I said, this conversation's over."-Syd screamed

"I'm kinda tired, I'm gonna go lay down on your bed, if you don't mind."-Irina

"Sure, do what you want, I doubt I'll be using it tonight."-Vaughn

Irina walked out of the room and into Vaughn's room.

"Syd, what's your problem, you've been acting kinda weird? Come on, me pressuring you into having sex, doesn't that seem a little weird?"-Vaughn

"I guess."-Syd

"And the glass mansion?"-Vaughn

"Now that I’m serious about."-Syd

"Why don't you want to, you know?"-Vaughn

"Lets just say, I have my reasons."-Syd

"So you're not going to tell me?"-Vaughn

"No, never."-Syd

"We're getting married, Sydney, don't you think we need to be honest with each other?"-Vaughn

"No, not when one of us doesn't want to say anything."-Syd

"Fine."-Vaughn

"Just because I shouldn't get up and kill you, doesn't mean I won't try." Syd got up and punched him in the nose. "See what I mean?"

"I think so." He punched her in the stomach, She fell off the couch.

She got up and kicked him in the face.

"Hey, Syd."-Vaughn

"Now are yah sorry?"-Syd

"Not yet." Vaughn got off the couch and pushed her down on the floor. "See, that's how it's done."

"Hey." She got up, but before she could move, Vaughn grabbed her by the arms and threw her right back down again.

Irina heard what was going on and ran back into the room.

"What the hell is going on in here?"

"Nothing."-Syd said as she got up and limped out of the room.

"What really happened?"-Irina

"We were kinda beating each other up."-Vaughn

"She just jumped off the 5th floor of a building, she needs to rest, not kick a$$."-Irina

"I get your point, but she's strong enough."-Vaughn

"Yah, I know."-Irina

"I just want you to know that I love your daughter with all my heart and I couldn't live without her, If anything ever happened to her, I couldn't live. I thank you for being so kind to me even though I'm sorta still married to Alice aka dead woman. I also thank you for letting me marry your beloved Sydney, she means so much to me."-Vaughn

"Michael, I thank you for being so forgiving of me. I killed your father, I didn't want to, but I did and I'm very thankful that you forgave me for that."-Irina

"Truth takes time."-Vaughn

"Yeah, It does."-Irina

"If it wasn't for you, Sydney probably wouldn't be alive today, let alone getting married to me."-Vaughn

"I know."-Irina

"I never thought I'd ever think of you as a real hero."-Vaughn

Irina smiled. "You truly think that?"

"Yeah, I do."-Vaughn

"That's very surprisingly kind of you."-Irina

"Maybe it is, Maybe it isn't."-Vaughn

CHAPTER 31

 

"After all, you are my to be son-in-law."-Irina

"Yah."-Vaughn

"You belong together, I bet by the time October 1st comes, Sydney won't be so tense anymore."-Irina

"I hope so."-Vaughn

"She will be perfect."-Irina

"I hope you're right."-Vaughn

"Oh, believe me, she'll be fine."-Irina

1 MONTH LATER - THE WEDDING

"You look beautiful."-Irina

"I guess I do."-Syd

She stood at the end of the aisle, Vaughn was just a little out of her reach by several feet, but only for a few minutes.

She walked down the aisle, seconds later she was staring into Vaughn's lovely green eyes.

"Repeat after me, i Sydney A. Bristow take the Michael C. Vaughn."

"I Sydney A. Bristow take the Michael C. Vaughn."-Syd

"In sickness and in health to be my husband forever."

"Now it's your turn, repeat after me. I Michael C. Vaughn Take the Sydney A. Bristow."

They exchanged rings and kissed, that kiss seemed to last forever.

"My daughter's married, I can't believe it!"-Irina

Jack walked up to Irina. "Why wasn't I invited to my only daughter's wedding?"

"Because she's not your daughter."-Irina

"What?"-Jack

"She's Sloane's."-Irina

"Bitch."-Jack

"So what if I am."-Irina

"How could you? Sloane?"-Jack

"I was young and stupid, but hey, I have Sydney."-Irina

"Whatever." and he walked away.

Without Sydney noticing, Sloane walked up to Irina.

"What the hell are you doing here?"-Irina

"I'm ready to be a father."-Sloane

"Oh no you're not."-Irina

"Yes, yes, I am."-Sloane

"If you ever hurt my daughter again----"-Irina

Before she could finish, he cut her off. "I just want a chance."

"GO TO HELL."-Irina

"I hear that a lot."-Sloane

"I'm not surprised."-Irina

"I'll leave, but I want a chance, I promise there are no strings attached."-Sloane

"You're out of luck, you don't get anymore chances."-Irina

Sloane walked away from Irina and out of the building. "You're wrong, I'll get my chance, Just watch me."
