IS HER DESTINY
DEATH?
A SEQUEL TO SHATTERED GLASS
CHAPTER 1 - SAVING SYDNEY
Sydney awoke in a warehouse,
she didn’t know how long she’d been gone or what had happened to her, she just
thought she had died.
“Ah, Sydney, I see you’re
awake.” He grabbed a syringe that had a strange liquid in it and shoved it in
her arm. “It’s Heroine.”
Because of the dosage she’d
been given in that last 8 months, she quickly lost consciousness.
LA - VAUGHN’S APARTMENT
“Eric, she’s been missing for
almost a year, shouldn’t we go look for her?”-Vaughn
“Mike, I said I’ll help you
find her and I will, but it’ll be hard.”-Weiss
“Eric, Irina is pissed at me
for not finding her yet, since she’s been missing ever since after our wedding.
She said that she’s gonna kill me if she doesn’t see Sydney alive in front of
her in 48 hours.”-Vaughn
“What the hell?”-Weiss
“Yeah, and fast cause she
just called me two hours ago and I bet she’s counting down the hours until she
can kill me.”-Vaughn
“Murder is her main tool,
isn’t it?”-Weiss
“You forgot blackmail,
bribery and many more of her tools in life.”-Vaughn
“I know, let’s hurry before
she murders you.”-Weiss
SWITZERLAND - SLOANE’S
WAREHOUSE
Sark came into Sloane’s
office.
“What do you want?”-Sloane
“Sydney’s awake.”-Sark
“How? I gave her like a
million gallons of heroine, she should be dead by now.”-Sloane
“Don’t you have something
more severe to give her?”-Sark
“Torturing her would be the
best punishment for working for the damn CIA.”-Sloane
“Sure.” He walked out and
over to Sydney’s cell.
Once he got there, he dragged
her to the interrogation room, tied her up and hung her by her arms from the
ceiling. He grabbed a knife, and Stabbed her in the stomach. Sydney screamed in
pain. He grabbed another knife and stabbed her right next to the previous spot.
He continued stabbing her in her stomach until he didn’t have anymore knives
left. She was bleeding heavily onto the floor, she had exactly 20 knives stuck
in her stomach, all very close together.
Sark untied her arms from the
ceiling and watched her drop to the ground, he then left the room.
OUTSIDE SLOANE’S
WAREHOUSE
Vaughn and Weiss got out of
their car and continued staring at a warehouse that looked like it had been 100
years old. They raised their guns and walked inside to see prison cells, over
1000 of them, they looked at each other, thinking that Sydney was there.
“You go that way, I’ll go
this way.”
They both went their
directions, but as soon as Vaughn turned the corner, he heard something,
screaming, it was her, it was Sydney, it had to be, he was almost sure of it.
He ran around another corner and walked up to a door, she was there, she was in
that room, screaming, he had to save her from what ever torture she was going
through.
He kicked the door down to
see Sydney, his love, on the ground, crying in pain. He ran over to her and
carefully removed the knives, she was weak, which would make it hard to escape,
but he would make sure she got out of this hell, somehow.
“Sydney, you’re gonna be ok,
just relax and don’t move.” He looked around the room for a first aid kit, or
something to stop the bleeding, but all he found was a few rags.
“V….a….u….g…..h…..n.”-Syd
“Syd, I love you, I’m not
going to let you die, just let me save you.”-Vaughn
“S…u…r…e.”-Syd
He carefully wrapped all the
rags around her stomach.
“I love you Sydney, don’t
leave me again, ever, I wanna be with you for eternity.”
He put his jacket on her and
carried her out of the room, but as soon as he turned around that corner, there
was a gun to Sydney’s head.
“I should of known you’d send
someone to rescue you.”-Sark
Vaughn punched him in the
face, Sark fell to the ground. Anna walked up behind them and threw Sydney out
of Vaughn’s arms and onto the ground. She screamed in pain. Vaughn pulled out
his gun and shot Anna in the chest, she appeared to be dead. He ran over to
Syd, who was now bleeding heavily on the ground and looked as though she
dislocated her shoulder. He helped her into his arms and pushed her shoulder
back into it’s socket. She screamed, but he knew she was gonna be all right,
she just needed to get back to LA and stay in bed rest for a few days. He hated
seeing her so broken, her soul was broken, her faith had died, her hope had
disappeared. She wasn’t the Sydney he knew before, but he still loved her,
maybe even more than he did before she disappeared.
“Lets go home, Weiss is
waiting for us and Sark will get up soon.”-Vaughn
“I love you so much, I missed
you so much, I was so scared without you there.”-Syd
“It’ll all be ok, I promise,
just try to relax, you can tell me later, ok?”-Vaughn
“Thanks for everything
Michael.”-Syd
“No problem, I love you, it’s
my job to keep you safe.”
Syd just rolled her eyes.
He carried her out of the
building, got her in the car, and the three of them drove away, heading back to
LA.
CHAPTER 2 - COMING HOME
L.A. - VAUGHN’S
APARTMENT
Vaughn carried Sydney inside
his apartment, set her down on his bed and went to go get a first aid kit. He
came back into his bedroom and sat down on the bed.
“I need to fix you up and
make you ‘presentable’ for your mom, since she’ll kill me if you’ve got one
little scratch on your body.”
“I doubt I’ll be
‘presentable’ then.”-Syd
“That won’t be a problem if
she just sees you alive and unharmed, since I can’t exactly say you were
‘unharmed’ I’m gonna have to use this.” He held up some cover up and a first
aid kit.
She rolled her eyes. “Let me
take off my shirt first.” She did but hurt her shoulder in the process.
“You ok?”-Vaughn
“My shoulder’s just a little
sore from earlier, that’s all.”-Syd
“Oh.” He glanced at her
stomach, the cuts were very bad and deep. “Did Sark do this to you?”
“Yeah, he did.”-Syd
“I’m gonna kill that
bastard.” He grabbed some gauze and placed it over the horrible wounds on her
stomach and put the bandages over it, there must have been about 7 inches high
of cuts on her stomach. He gave her about 5 pain killers and started going
through all his drawers for something Sydney possibly left behind when she came
over so she’d look ‘presentable’ to Irina, Finally 10 minutes later he found a
pair of her blue jeans and a sweater she must of left behind one day.
“Here.” He threw them over to
her.
“Thanks, I owe you
everything, my life, my heart, my soul…”
He cut her off. “You don’t
owe me anything Sydney, I love you, I always will, I’ll never let anyone harm
you in any way and if they do, I’ll just have to kill them.”
“I love you.”-Syd
“I love you too, now go
change so your mom doesn’t kill me.”-Vaughn
“Fine.”
She quickly changed, waiting
for Vaughn to carry her to the car.
“You ready?”-Vaughn
“Yeah.”-Syd
“Good.” He picked her up and carried
her out to the car.
IRINA’S APARTMENT
Vaughn carried her out of the
car and set her down on the grass.
“Why aren’t we just going
inside?”-Syd
“Just get off your butt and
put your arm around my neck and walk because I don’t want your mom to kill
me.”-Vaughn
“Fine, but it hurts to
walk.”-Syd
“If you fall, then I’ll carry
you, but otherwise, you’ll live.”-Vaughn
She put her arm around
Vaughn’s neck and stood up, the two of them walked over to the door, Vaughn
knocked. Irina ran over to the door and opened it.
“Oh my god, Sydney, you’re
here?”-Irina
“Be nice.”-Vaughn
“Why wouldn’t I be?”-Irina
“You’re not gonna shoot me,
are you?”-Syd
“What?”-Irina
“No, before Vaughn brought me
back, I shot 4 people at the pier and then I made out with Sark and Vaughn shot
me and then you shot me and then I tried to commit suicide at Weiss’ apartment
and then I woke up in a dirty cell in Sloane and Sark’s warehouse.”-Syd
“He must of put you in an
alternate reality of some sort.”-Irina
“But how?”-Syd
“That’s just get inside and
see what’s going on before we get into this.”-Irina
“Fine.”-Syd
They all went inside.
INSIDE
Irina carefully inspected
Sydney’s body, the thing was she didn’t even know about or see her wounds, so
as far as Irina knew, her daughter was fine, until Sydney tried to get up off
the couch, tripped and screamed revealing the bandaged up wounds on her
stomach. Irina walked over to Sydney and saw what she shouldn’t have.
“Michael, what happened to
her?”-Irina
“Sark tortured her.”-Vaughn
“What?”-Irina
Vaughn helped Syd back up
onto the couch. “She was tortured, be nice to her, understand she doesn’t
really wanna talk about it.”
“I’m so sorry, I didn’t
know.”-Irina
“It’s ok, really.”-Vaughn
“Yeah, I’m fine, really.”-Syd
“You sure about that? Cause I
can always have you both stay here and help you out.”-Irina
“Really, we’re ok.”-Vaughn
“I just wanna help.”-Irina
“I’m fine, all right, I don’t
need any help, I have Michael, if I need anything I’ll make sure to call you.”
She got up and walked to the door.
“Sydney, wait.”-Irina
“What?”-Syd
“Just come here.”-Irina
“Ok.” She walked back over to
the couch and sat down. “What do yah wanna tell me?”
“I just think that he’ll
most-likely brake into your house first and kill you.”-Irina
“She’s right, we should stay
here.”-Vaughn
“She lies, she always
lies.”-Syd
“What?”-Irina
“You wanted to take me
somewhere and make me live as the one in the prophecy.”-Syd
“What?”-Vaughn and Irina
“Yeah, don’t you
remember?”-Syd
“He defiantly put you in some
kind of alternate reality.”-Irina
“Also, Sloane implanted ‘the
telling’ in my stomach.”-Syd
“What?”-Vaughn
“Again, I’ll say it one more
time, she was probably in an alternate reality for about 9 months.”-Irina
All of the sudden a gray van
pulled up in the driveway and two people went along the side of the apartment.
CHAPTER 3 - LAST CHANCE
The first man pointed his gun
at the window and shot, Irina, Vaughn and Syd ducked. Both men got inside and
hide behind Them. Vaughn pulled out his gun, Irina did the same, only she
handed hers to Sydney.
“Here, take this, you’re
going to need it.” She pulled out a second gun from under the couch.
The second man shot three
times, hitting the wall. Vaughn ran to the other side of the apartment and hid
in a closet, while Irina and Syd hid behind the chair in the corner. The first
man shot, Sydney gasped in pain. Irina looked over to see her daughter
clutching her arm. “Sydney, Oh my god.” she wrapped her arms around her
daughter and ran across the room. Syd grabbed her gun out of her other hand and
shot both men, they were both dead. Vaughn opened the closet door.
“See what I mean, they came
here first.”-Syd
Vaughn ran over to his poor
wife, kissed her on the head and carried her out of the apartment, Irina
followed. She had gone through so much and then she had to be shot the first
day she had been back from whatever hell she was put through by Sloane and
Sark.
As they got into the car
Irina had only one thought, to leave the country, for her, Sydney and Michael
to leave the country, to be where Sark and Sloane least expected them to be.
“Sydney, go in the back with
Michael, I’ll drive.”-Irina
“Ok.” They all got in the
car.
“Syd, you ok?”-Vaughn
“Just my arm, it fucking
hurts.”-Syd
“Before you even think about
cutting off your arm, just pull the freaking bullet out with your
fingers.”-Irina
“What?”-Syd and Vaughn
“I did it, it helps a
lot.”-Irina
She pulled out the bullet.
“Now that’s better.”
Vaughn moved closer to her,
she leaned her head on his shoulder. “I love you.”
“It’s gonna be all right, I
won’t leave anybody try to kill you anymore, I’ll protect you forever, for
eternity.”-Vaughn
“I have a place on an island
just off of Green Land, it’s freezing, but no one will find us there.”-Irina
“What?”-Syd and Vaughn
“Do you wanna die?”-Irina
“No.” -Syd and Vaughn
“Then you’ll gather your
things and I’ll take you to the air port in the morning.”-Irina
“Fine.”-Syd and Vaughn
VAUGHN’S APARTMENT
Syd sat on Vaughn’s bed icing
her arm while Vaughn searched for clothes.
“Are you ever gonna find me
anything?”
“Actually, I did.” He handed
her a box of clothes and stuff.
“Wait, this is from before,
no after our wedding…”
He cut her off. “I’m sorry, I
didn’t mean to.”
“No, don’t be sorry, it was
never your fault that I disappeared that day.”-Syd
“Yeah, it was Syd, we had an
argument, I left for 3 hours and when I came back there was blood all over my
apartment and you were just gone.”-Vaughn
“That doesn’t mean it was
your fault.”-Syd
“Yeah, it does Syd, I love
you and I let you disappear for almost a year, it was wrong of me to do
that.”-Vaughn
“Listen, it wasn’t your fault
ok, none of that was, so just stop it and leave me the hell alone about it.
Don’t you know when to stop?” She got up and left the room leaving Vaughn alone
in his thoughts. But then he got up and ran into the living room to see Sydney
pointing a gun to her head.
“Sydney, don’t do
this.”-Vaughn
“It’s all over, Michael, it’s
all over, he said it was my destiny to die, let me just give him what he
wants.”-Syd
“No, don’t do that, Sydney,
don’t ever, I love you, don’t do this, please, I care too much, I care about
you too much.”
Irina walked into the room.
“Sydney, put that down now.”
“No, he said it was my
destiny to die.”-Syd
“Who said that?”-Irina
“Sloane.” She put her finger
on the trigger.
Irina went over to her and
yanked the gun out of her hand.
“That’s it, no more guns, no
more weapons in this house, at least none of them will be around you. That was
your last chance, you blew it, no more guns for you.”
CHAPTER 4 - SUICIDAL
SYDNEY
“Mom.”-Syd
“No buts about it, you’re not
gonna commit suicide, you’re not gonna get killed, you’re not gonna die.”-Irina
“She’s right, now knock it
off.”-Vaughn
“You started it.” She ran
off.
“What did you do?”-Irina
“I blamed myself for what
happened to her, she ran off cause I wouldn’t stop saying it was my fault and
then I saw her with a gun.”-Vaughn
“She’s very stubborn, but she
doesn’t strike me as the type that would wanna commit suicide. She did jump off
of the 5th floor of the CIA hospital, now this.”-Irina
“I know, it’s starting to
bother me too.”-Vaughn
“Supervise her at all times,
keep all guns with you, I’ll keep some with me, if somebody brakes into our
house or something, give her a weapon, but if she puts it to her head, rip it
out of her hand immediately.”-Irina
“I’ll try.”-Vaughn
“Aren’t there doctors who can
help with matters like this?”-Irina
“But she’s a spy, she’ll
never go to one, she’ll find any way not to.”-Vaughn
“I doubt it, I doubt she
really wants to die, like in many situations, it’s more like she thinks it’s
the only alternative to pain and fear brought on by events in her life. I doubt
she wants to die, she just thinks it’s the only way out.”-Irina
“I’ll take her to one, but
she was an agent, she belongs in a safe house, or witness protection, not that
she’d ever go through that, but if she told someone everything, confidential or
not, it doesn’t matter, it just might be bad for her.”-Vaughn
“Then take her back to the
damn CIA and tell them she needs a suicide counselor.”-Irina
“I don’t think there is such
a thing and besides, I don’t want her to end up in some kind of mental
institution.”-Vaughn
“Try a CIA counselor, I don’t
know, marriage counseling for the two of you, whatever’s best.”-Irina
They were so busy taking
about the best way to handle Sydney that they didn’t even think about where she
was, in truth she was barely behind the couch, listening to their every word.
Sydney’s POV
What the hell are they
thinking? I’m not going to a fucking counselor, if I ever would have to see a
CIA counselor, I’d chop everyone’s heads off, no jokes about it, I’d rather die
than see one. My mother and my husband have gone insane, why would they do this
to me? What do they think I am, some insane person who wants to end the world?
When I think about that, that’s not such a bad idea, death, the pleasure, it’s
everything.
No POV
“She needs to see someone,
but the CIA would be so creepy to her, they’d act like she was a death
worshiper or something, they’d want to give her the death penalty any way for
some insane reason.”-Vaughn
“Then go to somebody who
would understand her and do the best for her, not the best for the
country.”-Irina
“Who would that be?”-Vaughn
“A little something I found a
while ago.” She pulled out a business card and handed it to him. “I doubt he’d
mind canceling all his other appointments for her.”
“You don’t know what you’re
doing, since when is Jack some kind of counselor?”-Vaughn
“Since he quit the
CIA.”-Irina
“But this is still gonna be
hard, she’ll do anything to not see him, I know this.”-Vaughn
“If she won’t go, make her
go.”-Irina
Sydney’s POV
What the fuck are they trying
to do to me? Jack? My fake father? This is shit, what are they trying to do to
me?
No POV
Sydney stood up from behind
the couch and was about to walk out of the room, but suddenly she was stopped.
“What the hell do you think
you’re doing?”-Irina
“What are you talking
about?”-Syd
“You know what I’m talking
about.”-Irina
“Why are you doing this to
me? I’m your only daughter, I just wanna die, that’s all, it’s not a
crime.”-Syd
“I won’t let my only daughter
die.”-Irina
Sydney saw a gun on the
table, she thought about shooting Irina, but then Irina kicked her, causing her
to fall to the ground.
“Screw you bitch.”
“How dare you talk like that
to your mother, I was just keeping you from grabbing a gun.”-Irina
Vaughn helped her up. “What
has gotten into you Sydney?”
“I’ll ask you the same
question.”-Irina
“What’s your problem?”-Syd
“Nothing, but we both think
you desperately need to see a counselor, so you’re going to see someone.”-Irina
“Why do you want this for
me?”-Syd
“Sydney, you need it, you
will go, you will stop this suicide crap and I mean it.”-Irina
“When does the torture
start?”-Syd
“Tomorrow morning since I’ve
decided we’re not leaving to the island until after this gets resolved.”-Irina
“Fine.”-Syd
CHAPTER 5 - LET THE
TORTURING BEGIN
16 HOURS LATER - MONDAY
MORNING AT NOON
Sydney got out of the
bathroom, she knew there was no way out of this, it would just have to be the
way it was. She quickly put a few bandages over the bullet hole on her
shoulder, then got dressed and headed for the kitchen, but she was stopped by
Irina.
“I wanna talk with you.”
“About what?”-Syd
“About what I did to you
yesterday.”-Irina
“Oh.”-Syd
“I didn’t mean to make you
angry, I just think it’d be best for you to see someone about this.”-Irina
“It’s really ok.”-Syd
“I just don’t wanna see you
dead and buried in a Grave yard, I love you Sydney, nothing will ever change
that, just stop this, help me by seeing this poor man who would love to help
you.”-Irina
“Fine, I said I will, stop
it, just listen to me for once.” She walked to the kitchen.
As she entered the kitchen,
she began to feel strange, something about Vaughn standing behind her worried,
just staring scared her a little.
“So do you have some problem
with me, your wife all of the sudden?”
“No, Sydney, I just love
you.”-Vaughn
“Don’t treat me any different
than you used to.”-Syd
“Sorry, I really am, I’ll
treat you like the old Sydney.”-Vaughn
“If you’re gonna be like
this, maybe we should just get a divorce.”-Syd
“No, listen to me, I love you
Sydney, don’t make it be this way, I’ll go with you.”-Vaughn
“You’d really do that?”-Syd
“Yeah.”-Vaughn
THE SHRINK’S OFFICE
Sydney sat down in the
waiting room, fearing he’d put her on medication or something, but then Vaughn
sat down next to her.
“He said we could go in now.”
“All right.”
The two of them walked to his
office and went inside.
“Sydney, hi.”-Jack
“Hi.” She looked down.
“Sydney, everything’s gonna
be ok, I promise, now just stop panicking.” Vaughn whispered to her so no one
could hear.
“Just sit down, I’m not going
to harm you in any way, remember, I was a father to you, not by birth, but why
does that matter?”-Jack
They both sat down.
“So what brings you
here?”-Jack
“My insane mother.”-Syd
Vaughn rolled his eyes. “My
wife has been wanting to commit suicide lately.”
“Liar.”-Syd
“I’m not lying, she really
did, she held a gun up to her head yesterday.”-Vaughn
“Sydney, what’s this about
trying to commit suicide?”-Jack
“I didn’t do anything.”-Syd
“Liar, about 11 months ago,
she jumped off the 5th floor of the CIA hospital and she almost
died.”-Vaughn
“So.”-Syd
“Sydney, tell the
truth.”-Jack
“Ok, maybe I did hold a gun
up to my head and wish to pull the trigger, but I didn’t, did I?”-Syd
“The only reason you didn’t
was because Irina pulled it out of your hand.”-Vaughn
“Yeah, I know.”-Syd
“Sydney, why are you doing
this?”-Jack
“Because I don’t wanna live
this life anymore.”-Syd
“What are you saying?”-Jack
“She was being tortured for
almost 9 months, I found her, rescued her and have been treating her different than I did before she
disappeared and she hates me for that, I’ll try to treat her the same as I did
but it’ll be hard, she’s not the same Sydney I knew a year ago, she’s some
suicidal creep.”-Vaughn
“I’m not a suicidal
creep.”-Syd
“Yeah, you are.”-Vaughn
“No, I’m not.” She slapped
him in the face.
“See what I mean, she’s so
violent.”-Vaughn
“Ok, lets just take this one
step at a time. Sydney, you want to commit suicide because you’re always
getting hurt and don’t want to take anymore pain, plus your husband is treating
you different than before and everyone is making you feel like you can’t do
anything for yourself?”-Jack
“Yes, exactly, my mother
wants me to move to some fucking island because she thinks I’m going to get
killed.”-Syd
“She just wants to protect
you.”-Vaughn
“She wanted me to stay with
her to live for a while, I’m married, I wanna live with my husband, not my
mother.”-Syd
“Are you injured?”-Jack
“No.”-Syd
“Yes, she is.”-Vaughn
“No, I’m not.”-Syd
“Liar.”-Vaughn
“I’m not a liar.”-Syd
“Yes, you are.”-Vaughn
“No I’m not.” She slapped
Vaughn again, but this time even harder.
Vaughn backed away. “She’s so
freaking violent.”
“I can see that, Sydney, go
to the other side of the room please.”-Jack
“Why should I do that?”-Syd
“Either you do that or you
stop hitting your husband.”-Jack
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to, I
don’t know what came over me.”-Syd
“It’s ok, you’ve been through
a lot.” He moved closer to her, she leaned into him.
“At first I wanted you to go
to an anger management center, but you’re temper isn’t that bad, I’ve seen way
worse.”-Jack
Sydney stared in confusion.
“All I’ve observed so far is
that you don’t seem to tell the truth unless your husband forces it out of you.”-Jack
“So maybe I lie to people I
don’t exactly trust.”-Syd
“I also just want to say to
your husband that I think he should act no different around you just because
you’re injured or you were tortured. Plus, about the suicide thing, remove all
weapons from your house.”-Jack
“Irina already hid them
somewhere out of the house.”-Vaughn
“Good, and Sydney, I would
think it’d be good for you to see me once every month until further
notice.”-Jack
“What?”-Syd
“Yes, once a month.”-Jack
CHAPTER 6 - THE ESCAPE
VAUGHN’S APARTMENT
Sydney heard a noise in the
house, she didn’t know what it was, but she needed a weapon, something that
could kill whoever was trying to disturb her. She looked through all the
drawers in Vaughn’s bedroom to find a knife, a huge one with a huge blade, she
held it up and walked down the hall.
“Sydney, put that damn thing
down now, I don’t want anyone’s heads getting chopped off.”
“Oh, sorry, I thought you
were Sark or somebody.”-Syd
“Oh.”
“Michael, I’m sorry about
yesterday, I didn’t mean to hit you, I didn’t know what I was doing, I’m
sorry.”-Syd
“Don’t be sorry, I love you,
I get it, I really do, just let me love you.” He went over to her and wrapped
his arms around her, kissing her about 5 or 6 times.
All of a sudden, 8 guys with
guns came in and surrounded them, Sydney held up her knife and stabbed 3 of
them, obviously that didn’t bother them. She accidentally dropped it and fell
trying to get away. Vaughn grabbed his gun out of his pocket and shot 3 of them
down, they were dead, but there were 5 more to kill. One of them grabbed the
knife on the ground and stabbed Syd in her side.
“Owwwwwww.” Syd screamed
Vaughn continued shooting
them all down until he was out of bullets, but one of them got back up and
knocked him over before he could get over to Syd.
“Irina, get your ass over
here now.”-Vaughn
Irina came running into the
room. “Sorry ‘bout that.” She grabbed a knife out of a drawer and stabbed the
guy, they were all dead.
They both ran over to Syd,
who was bleeding heavily onto the floor.
“She’s going to need stitches
badly.”-Irina
“I agree.”-Vaughn
“Just get me to the fucking
hospital then.”-Syd
“All right, we will.”-Vaughn
Irina carried her to the car
and they all got in.
HOSPITAL - 5 HOURS
LATER
Irina and Vaughn sat in the
waiting room hoping she was ok, she had lost a lot of blood. A nurse walked
over to them.
“Is she ok?”-Irina
“She was bleeding internally,
but she’s alive, she had severe kidney damage, but she had a transplant, one
thing was odd though. She had several cuts on her stomach.”-Nurse
“Would you think I was insane
if I said she was tortured?”-Vaughn
“No, that makes more sense
than a theory the surgeon had.”-Nurse
“Was there anything
else?”-Irina
“She had a bullet hole in her
left arm, but that’s not really a huge concern, but we did find heroine in her
blood.”-Nurse
“Oh.”-Irina
“Can we see her.”-Vaughn
“Sure, room 3917.”-Nurse
“Thanks.”-Irina and Vaughn
They both walked down the
hall.
“What’s this about
heroine?”-Irina
“I’m not sure.”-Vaughn
They walked inside the room.
Irina stood by the doorway as
Vaughn walked up to her. He sat down next to her, held her hand and kissed it.
“Sydney, it’s me Michael, you
might wanna wake up.”
She opened her eyes. “Hey.”
“How are you doing?”-Vaughn
“I’m fine, I guess, just a
little sore.”-Syd
“You ok?”-Vaughn
“It’s just every time I turn
around somebody wants to kill me.”-Syd
“Baby, it’s ok, you’ll be
fine, I promise I’ll protect you from any bastards that want to or try to kill
you.”-Vaughn
“Promise?”-Syd
“Yeah.”-Vaughn
Syd had an evil grin on her
face. “Just sneak me out of this place, please.”
“No, I can’t, you’re in a
hospital, you just got out of surgery.”-Vaughn
She started pouting. “Please,
I’ll let you make love to me for 24 hours.”
“No.”-Vaughn
“I’ll let you treat me like
I’m helpless for a week.”-Syd
“Fine, but this will never
happen again.”-Vaughn
He helped her change into her
clothes while Irina opened the window.
“Michael, you and Irina jump
first, then once you’re both right next to each other, hold out your hands and
catch me when I jump.”-Syd
“All right.”-Irina and Vaughn
Irina jumped, then Vaughn
did, they both held out their arms,
Sydney stood in front of the window, climbed out and jumped.
CHAPTER 7 - THE PHONE CALL
She landed in Irina and
Vaughn’s arms.
“Thanks.”-Syd
“No problem.”-Vaughn
“It was a easy, we just had
to catch you.”-Irina
Syd moved in Vaughn’s arms.
“I love you.”
“I love you too.”
“Lets go now, before they
catch us.”-Irina
“Fine.”-Syd and Vaughn
They all got in the car and
drove off.
VAUGHN’S APARTMENT
They all walked back into the
house.
“What are we gonna do about
the bodies?”-Syd
They all looked into the
kitchen to see they were all gone.
“I doubt we’ll have to do
anything.”-Irina
“Why is it that they always
get away?”-Syd
“I’m not sure.” He pushed her
onto the couch. “Now don’t move let me go get you a bell.
“Vaughn, I’m not
helpless.”-Syd
“It’s a small price you’ll have
to pay for making me get you out of there.”-Vaughn
“No, I refuse to do this.”
She got up and kicked him in the face. “No more treating me like I’m in a body
cast, been there, done that, time to move on.”
“You, Sydney Bristow was in a
body cast?”-Vaughn
“No, not really, but that’s
not the point.”-Syd
“That’s what I thought.” He
knocked her over.
“you’ll pay for that.” She
got back up and knocked him down. “See what I mean.”
He caught her off guard and
kicked her down to the ground, got on top of her and put her in a head lock.
“Shit.”-Syd
“I win! I best the famous
Sydney Bristow!”-Vaughn
“Not yet.” She kicked him off
of her and shoved him to the ground. She grabbed out a gun, pointing it at
him.
“Oh my god where’d you get
that from?”-Irina
“Your bathroom drawer.”-Syd
Irina rolled her eyes. Syd
handed her the gun.
“Thanks.”-Irina
“Whatever.” She looked at
Vaughn who was on the ground in shock. “What, did you think I couldn’t do
that?”
“Well, I don’t know,
maybe.”-Vaughn
“Care for a round two?”-Syd
Vaughn rolled his eyes. “I’d
rather die than get beat up by my wife.”
“Fine.” She walked away.
“You shocked too?”-Vaughn
“A little.”-Irina
“They say bed rest, I doubt
that would count.”-Irina
“Don’t even go there.”-Vaughn
“I’m gonna go talk to her.”
She left the room.
As she walked over to Sydney,
she had about a million thoughts going through her mind, but they suddenly
disappeared.
“What?”-Syd
“Just wanted to talk to
you.”-Irina
“Just say it.”-Syd
“I’m not sure how.”-Irina
“Just say what you fucking
want to.”-Syd
“At the hospital, they found
heroine in your blood.”-Irina
“You’re asking me if I’m a
drug addict?”-Syd
“Yes, I mean no.”-Irina
“I’m not a druggie.”-Syd
“Then why was there heroine
in your blood?”-Irina
“So maybe I am addicted and
it’s because of Sloane.”-Syd
“What?”-Irina
“Every night he’d inject me
with some kind of liquid, he said it was heroine.”-Syd
“I’m gonna kill that bastard.”-Irina
“Fine with me.”-Syd
Vaughn came into the room.
“What?”-Syd and Irina
“I just got a really
disturbing phone call from Sloane.”-Vaughn
CHAPTER 8 - A MEMORY FROM
HELL
“What’d he say?”-Syd
“He said if I didn’t bring
you to him at the Los Angeles airport in 24 hours, he’d hunt you down and kill
you.”-Vaughn
“But how could he find
me?”-Syd
“A tracking device
maybe?”-Irina
“How do we know if he planted
one?”-Vaughn
“A little somethin’ somethin’
I stole from the CIA two years ago.” She grabbed out her Tracking device
detector. “It’s called locate and remove.”
Syd and Vaughn rolled their
eyes
She ran it up and down Syd’s
body until it beeped at her right shoulder.
“Bingo.”-Irina
“Are you gonna remove
it?”-Syd
Irina pulled out a knife and
made a small cut on the back of her shoulder, she took it out.
“Thanks.”-Syd
“I’m your mother, It’s my job
to keep you away from your daddy.”-Irina
“Now you’re talking like
me.”-Vaughn
“So.”-Irina
“At least now he can’t hunt
me down and kill me.”-Syd
“Yeah.” Irina rolled her
eyes. “My daughter is a fucking drug addict.”
“Hello, it’s not my
fault.”-Syd
“Who’s a druggie?”-Vaughn
“Sydney.”-Irina
“I’m am not a druggie.”-Syd
“Yes, you are.”-Irina
“Sloane got me addicted.”-Syd
“So, you’re still a
druggie.”-Irina
“Shut up.” She kicked Irina.
“Hey.” She kicked Sydney in
the stomach sending her flying across the room and into a desk.
“Oh my god.” Vaughn ran over
to her. “You ok?”
When he didn’t hear an answer
he freaked. “Bitch, she won’t answer me, she can’t hear me, how could you?”
“Oh no, Sydney.” She ran over
to her. “Try anything.”
He slapped her across the
face, nothing. He grabbed a gun and hit her with it.
“What the fuck are you
freaking people trying to do to me?”-Syd
“Thank god.”-Vaughn
“What?”-Syd
“Sorry for knocking you
out.”-Irina
“Oh, that.”-Syd
Vaughn helped her up. “And
she’s not a druggie, Irina, she may be addicted, but she hasn’t had any in a
few days, leave her be.”
“Fine.” She left the room to
go lay down.
“Sorry ‘bout that, that must
of hurt to be thrown across the room by your mother.”-Vaughn
“No, not really.”-Syd
“You mad at me?”-Vaughn
“No, but I’m to the point of
hating everybody else.”-Syd
“It’s ok baby, it’s all gonna
be all right, I promise, now lets go have some fun, we don’t need to sit around
here all day.”-Vaughn
“I love you.”-Syd
“I love you too, now let me
go and do some things, I’ll be back in a while.”-Vaughn
“All right, bye.”-Syd
“Bye.” He kissed her on the
forehead and left.
She went deep into thought
FLASH BACK
“We better get there fast or
he’s gonna blow apart our car.”-Syd
“I know.”-Vaughn
Sark shot again, hitting the
back seat of the car.
“Go faster.”-Syd
He sped up to 80 mph and
drove around 3 neighborhoods and finally lost him. Syd kissed him, Vaughn
kissed her back, she kissed him again. Vaughn wasn’t paying attention to where
he was going and crashed in a house, leaving the two of them unconscious in an
up-side-down car.
END FLASH BACK
She snapped out of the memory
in shock. “It was all her fault, my mom‘s fault.”
Irina heard her talking and
came into the room. “Who are you talking to?”
“No one, I was just
thinking.”-Syd
“Oh.” She sat down next to
her. “What’s wrong?”
“Nothing, I said nothing,
can’t you take nothing as an answer?”-Syd
“I’m sorry, you just looked
so hurt I thought I’d try to find out what’s bothering you.”-Irina
“You were there, weren’t
you?”-Syd
“I was where?”-Irina
“At the house we crashed
into, you were at the other side of the house, by the window.”-Syd
“Sydney, what are you talking
about?”-Irina
“The night I wanted Vaughn to
drive faster to get away from Sark so we accidentally drove into a house. I can
still remember the address, it was 717 77th street.”-Syd
“Oh.”-Irina
“You bitch.”-Syd
“What’d I do?”-Irina
CHAPTER 9 - MOTHER VS
DAUGHTER
“You made the fucking brakes
on the car not work.”-Syd
“I did not.”-Irina
“Yeah, you did.”-Syd
“I did not.”-Irina
“So you want me to believe
you were cloned or you have a twin sister?”-Syd
“No, not that I don’t have a
sister.”-Irina
“You have a sister?”-Syd
“She’s sort of a criminal
mastermind.”-Irina
“This makes no fucking
sense.”-Syd
“I have a sister who wants to
take down the world because she thinks Rambaldi is going to end the world, she
thinks he still lives.”-Irina
“What the fuck?”-Syd
“Stop cussing at me for one
second please.”-Irina
“Why should I, I can do
whatever I want.”-Syd
“Because I’m your
mother.”-Irina
“Shut your fucking mouth, you
were never my mother.”-Syd
“Wanna have your DNA tested
so I can prove you wrong?”-Irina
“So what if you are my birth
mother, you never were there, if you don’t want me to cuss at you, you should
of raised me right when I was 6 like a proper mother would do.” She walked
away.
Irina ran after her and
knocked her down. “Wait.”
“What?”-Syd
“I love you Sydney, you’re my
daughter.” She helped her up. “I’m sorry.”
“You’ve hurt me too many
times.”-Syd
“What can I do to make you
trust me?”-Irina
“Just stop hurting me.”-Syd
“All right, I’ll start
controlling my anger around you.”-Irina
“Better start now.” She
punched Irina in the face. “That was just my revenge.” She hit her in the
stomach. “That was round two.” She hit her again. “That was round three.” She
kicked her down. “That was round four.” She walked away.
“Sorry Sydney.”-Irina
She turned around. “If you’re
really sorry, prove it.”
“I will.”-Irina
SWITZERLAND - SLOANE’S
WAREHOUSE
Sark walked into Sloane’s
office.
“I still can’t believe she
escaped.”
“I know, that’s why I sent 8
of my men out to kill her.”-Sloane
“Did they come back
yet?”-Sark
“Yes, but with serious
wounds.”-Sloane
“We need her dead before she
becomes immortal.”-Sark
“I’m quite aware of
that.”-Sloane
“Do you know when she’ll
become immortal?”-Sark
“On October 1st.”-Sloane
“It’s September 10th
today sir, we don’t have much time.”-Sark
“I’m sending 20 men out to
kill her.”-Sloane
“Great.” He walked out.
WEISS’ APARTMENT
“So how’s she doing?”-Weiss
“Ok, I guess, but she did
become addicted to heroine when she was being held captive.”-Vaughn
“We’re talking about Sydney,
the girl who we saved, the one you fell in love with the first day on the
job?”-Weiss
“Yes, Eric, her, the only
Sydney we know.”-Vaughn
“But how is she, you know,
with everything that happened?”-Weiss
“Ok, I guess, but Irina’s
been giving her a bad time lately.”-Vaughn
“Irina Derevko is Irina
Derevko.”-Weiss
“Yeah, I know.”-Vaughn
VAUGHN’S APARTMENT
Some men broke in without
making any noise. Sydney turned around and grabbed a gun off the table. “Please tell me this isn’t happening.”
One of the men grabbed her
from behind and threw her onto the ground.
“Shit.” She got up and kicked
them down, then she shot them all about 7 or 8 times. “Mom”
“What?”-Irina
“Get your ass over here.”-Syd
“One second.” She ran down
the hall to see abut 20 dead guys. “What the hell was going on in here?”
“Someone sent these idiotic
creeps after me, probably to kill me.”-Syd
“I’ll go get rid of the
bodies.”-Irina
“Go idea.”-Syd
Irina slowly dragged two
bodies at a time over to a dumpster behind her house and dumped them in, she
came back about 20 minutes later.
“They’re all gone,
right?”-Syd
“Yeah, they’re gone.”-Irina
CHAPTER 10 - COMING BACK
TO KILL
Vaughn walked into his
apartment to see Sydney throwing knives at the wall.
“Why are you destroying my
wall?”-Vaughn
“No reason.”-Syd
“If you’re angry, get it out
some other way than ruining my walls, I don’t have any more spackle here to
fill in the holes.”-Vaughn
“Sure, whatever.” She walked
over to Vaughn leaving a bunch of knives stuck into the wall.
“Where yah been?”
“Just out.”-Vaughn
“I see.” She kissed him.
“Come on, what’s up?”-Vaughn
“Just missed you.”-Syd
“Explains.” He kissed her and
walked over to the couch and turned on the TV.
She walked up behind him and
dumped a hole bunch of popcorn on his head.
“Hey.” He pulled her onto the
couch. “Why’d you do that?”
“You weren’t paying any
attention to me, your wife over here who had been waiting for you to come home
for over 4 hours now.”-Syd
“Sorry.” He kissed her.
“I love you.”-Syd
“I love you too.” He kissed
her again.
Irina walked into the room in
fright when she saw the knives stuck in the wall and popcorn all over the floor
and couch.
“What was going on in here?”
“Nothing.”-Syd and Vaughn
“Tell me what
happened.”-Irina
“We got a little wild.”-Syd
“We?”-Vaughn
Syd slapped him. “Knock it
off.”
“Ow.”-Vaughn
Syd giggled. “Sorry.”
He pulled her into his lap.
“I missed you when you were gone.”
“I know.”-Syd
“Your mom threatened to kill
me if I didn’t bring you back in 48 hours about 7 hours before I found
you.”-Vaughn
“What?”-Syd
“Hey.”-Irina
“You did?”-Syd
“Yeah, I did.”-Irina
“Why?”-Syd
“She was mad that I didn’t
find you yet.”-Vaughn
“I got a little emotional
from your disappearance.”-Irina
“I can tell.”-Syd
SLOANE’S WAREHOUSE
Sloane walked down an
extremely long aisle of prison cells and finally reach the one he was looking
for.
“Damn it, Sloane, when are
you gonna send me out on a mission again?”
“Alice, I only brought you
back because I for saw something that I knew I’d need you to help me with, that
is the death of Sydney Vaughn. She will turn immortal on October 1st.”-Sloane
“When did you for see her
turning immortal on that date?”-Alice
“During the last week I kept
her in an alternate reality.”-Sloane
“And you want me to kill
her?”-Alice
“She’s found a way to kill
and injure all of my men, you’re my last hope, Alice, I found you in a garbage
can and brought you here thinking you’d help me since Sark said he knew you.
But in the last 7 months you’ve been in this cell, you couldn’t find the icy
pit in your heart that she gave you that day you met her, the day you met
Sydney Bristow, my daughter.”-Sloane
“Why in hell would you want
me to kill your daughter?”-Alice
“Because she’ll become
immortal soon.”-Sloane
“That still doesn’t answer my
question, why would you want to kill your daughter?”-Alice
“It’s personal.”-Sloane
“Fine, I’ll respect
that.”-Alice
He opened the door on her
cell and the two of them walked out.
“Just one question, how did
you bring me back?”-Alice
“Rambaldi, Rambaldi brought
you back.”-Sloane
CHAPTER 11 - HORRIBLE
THOUGHTS
“What?”-Alice
“You’ll get over the shock,
he’s dead, but he’s got many ways of resurrecting the dead that are
needed.”-Sloane
“Fine, but when I’m done with
her, it’s you I will be killing.”-Alice
2 DAYS LATER
VAUGHN’S APARTMENT
Alice walked along the back
of the apartment, waiting for the right time to make the kill, but as soon as
she did Sydney walked out of the house, dressed in all leather clothes holding
a gun, her hope was far gone.
“Why do you want to kill
me?”-Alice
“Because you’re dead.”-Syd
“I was revived.”-Alice
“Shut the hell up.”-Syd
“I was, really.”-Alice
“Go to hell.”-Syd
“Been there, done that, now
I’m back.”-Alice
Sydney just rolled her eyes.
“I’m evil, Alice, you know that, right?”
“Really?” She rolled her
eyes.
“Yeah.” She pointed her gun
at Alice and shot. “What the fuck?”
“I’m dead, remember?” She
walked away.
“Damn it.” She walked back
into the house. “Michael.”
Vaughn walked up to Syd to
see her dressed in leather holding a gun.
“Put that thing down.” He
reached for the gun, but before he got a chance to grab it, she threw him to
the ground.
“Hey.”
“She’s alive, Michael, she’s
alive.”-Syd
“Who’s alive, Syd, what are
you talking about?”-Vaughn
“Alice, your dead ex wife
that I killed, remember?”-Syd
“Oh, her.”-Vaughn
“I shot her outside about 5
minutes ago, she wasn’t even bleeding, she said she’s dead and I can’t kill
her.”-Syd
“What?”-Vaughn
“Michael.”-Syd
“What?”-Vaughn
“You still love her, don’t
you?”-Syd
“No, I don’t, Syd, why would
you ever say that?”-Vaughn
“Liar, your boxers say Alice
all over them.”-Syd
“You were in my under ware
drawer?”-Vaughn
She slapped him. “Shut up.”
She pointed her gun at him. “I hate you.”
“Syd, why’d you do that.” He
looked at the gun pointed at him. “Irina.”
Irina ran into the room, saw
Sydney with the gun, grabbed it from her and slapped her. Sydney got up and
kicked Irina in the head, causing her to drop the gun, so she could get it
back. She pointed it at Irina.
“What do you really want?”
“What the hell are you
talking about?”-Irina
“You know what I’m talking
about, mom.” She turned pointing the gun back at Vaughn. “Why do you love
Alice, when you should love me?”
“Sydney, I love you, I
promise.”-Vaughn
She rolled her eyes “How am I
supposed to believe that when you write Alice on your boxers with permanent
marker?”
He got up and threw her to
the ground. “Sydney, stop it, just stop it.”
“Never.” She got up and
kicked him in the groin.
“Owwww.”-Vaughn
“See what you get.” She
looked back at Irina. “Mom, go to hell, I hate you, and all you want is to kill
me.”
“Why would you say
that?”-Irina
“Because it’s true.”-Syd
CHAPTER 12 - DISASTER
“What?”-Irina
Sydney rolled her eyes. “Tell
me something new.”
Vaughn got up and pushed her
down. “God Sydney, for once can you be the girl I married, not some insane
freak.”
Sydney got up and pointed her
gun at Vaughn. “This is it, I’m leaving, and it’s all your fault, Michael, it’s
all your fault, I hate you.”
She grabbed her leather
jacket and Vaughn’s keys and ran out the door.
Vaughn and Irina ran after
her, but by the time the got out of the house, she had already left.
Irina rolled her eyes. “Now
see what happens after you insult her?”
Vaughn glared at her. “Just
shut up, none of this would of happened if we would of stopped her from
leaving, although, I don’t see how we could have.”
“Michael, we don’t have a car,
you have you realized she took the car about 2 minutes ago and will probably be
out of the country in an hour? Cause if you haven’t, then take a look at
reality for a second and pay attention.”-Irina
“She’s not gonna leave the
country, she wouldn’t, she doesn’t have the nerve to.”-Vaughn
“You’re telling me she
doesn’t? She’s gone crazy, she’s dressed in leather running around with a gun
telling people things that she thinks are true about them and then she
leaves.”-Irina
“This can not be happening.”-Vaughn
“Well it is, so get used to
it.”-Irina
THE LOS ANGELES AIRPORT
Sydney got out of her car,
put on her jacket and ran inside the airport. Once she got inside in side, she
quickly disabled all the security cameras without anyone noticing and headed to
go sneak through security check without anyone seeing her. Once she got to the
security check area, some of the airport security saw her and called for
assistance, but by the time they got there she was already gone, nobody knew
where she went, until she came out from the bathroom and shot 3 of them, giving
herself away. She looked the opposite direction and suddenly her world became
black.
3 HOURS LATER
Sydney woke up with her hands
and legs handcuffed to a chair that was bolted to the ground. She looked up to
see three Army soldiers and the head of airport security staring at her.
“What do you want?”
“Why did you disable the
security cameras and kill 3 people?”-Head of airport security
“I can’t say.”-Sydney
“You’ll go to prison, if you
like it or not, but if you’re nice to me, I can do my best to make you
comfortable.”-Head of airport security
“I don’t want your help.” She
broke out of the restrains and threw him down to the ground.
“Call in and tell the FBI
that we have a suspected terrorist here.”-Head of airport security
“Yes, sir.”-Army soldier 1
Sydney ran, she ran for her
life, she needed to leave, leave the country, but she couldn’t, not without an
airplane, she needed help, but she couldn’t even ask Michael for help, it would
be too risky, she only had one choice,
to turn to her worst enemy.
She ran into the airport and
snuck onto a plane heading to Switzerland. Now no one would be able to find her
now.
VAUGHN’S APARTMENT
“She’s probably gone by now.”-Vaughn
“Yeah, she probably
is.”-Irina
“Irina, she’s my wife, I love
her with all my heart, but she’s gone completely insane. She is trying to
commit suicide and then there’s all the weird mood changes, I’m scared of my
own wife Irina, I’m scared of loosing Sydney to death and fear, the fear the
grows within me.”-Vaughn
“Sydney’s strong, she’ll be
ok, I think she just has some ‘issues’ to work on.”-Irina
“But Irina, I’m scared of
loosing her, what if she dies, what if she’s gone forever after just one mistake?
I couldn’t bare to live with myself if something happened to her, Irina, I’d
end up committing suicide myself, she’s everything to me and without her, I’m
nobody.”-Vaughn
“Michael, I can promise you,
she won’t die, at least she won’t be able to after October 1st.”-Irina
“Why? What’s happening to
her, Irina, will she be ok?”-Vaughn
“Yes, she’ll be fine, she’ll
just become immortal that day.”-Irina
“No, I mean mentally able to
face life? She seems to be suffering from some kind of anxiety from fear or
some kind of alternate reality, I just need to find out why she’s running away,
scared of us, what she’s really afraid of.”-Vaughn
“Michael, she was missing for
almost a year, and that was after she tried to commit suicide, as soon as we
find her, and we will find her, I’m sure we’ll find out what she’s so afraid of
and why she’s wanting to die, right now I’m just afraid for her, as you are,
and I hope she doesn’t do anything too bad or stupid that we’ll have to take
care of later, but all that matters at the moment is finding her, which I don’t
yet know how to do.”-Irina
“Irina, you’re Sydney’s
mother, ask yourself what she’d do and help me find her cause I don’t know how
much longer I’m gonna last sitting here without knowing she’s safe, if she
already did something stupid, then we’re already screwed, but at least help me
find your daughter.”-Vaughn
“Alright Michael, I promise
we’ll look for her and bring her back together, we just gotta hope she’ll come
with us when we get to Switzerland.”-Irina
“Why would she want to go to
Switzerland?”-Vaughn
“Sloane is there, why she
would go to him, I don’t know, but she’s obviously lost her mind right now and
she desperately needs our help, lets go get to the airport, we’re gonna need to
hijack an airplane.”-Irina
“What the hell are you
thinking Irina? We are trying to save her from Sloane for the third time in
almost 2 years, this needs to end so we can live together in peace, just for
once, I love Sydney and I’m sick of everything bad always happening to
her.”-Vaughn
“Yeah, I’m gonna take care of
this hell he’s put us through and I swear when I’m done killing him, everything
will be the way we’ve always wanted it to be.”-Irina
“Thanks, but we should go now
if you don’t want her to get there before us.”-Vaughn
“To the airport we go.” She
grabbed a wire coat hanger and went outside, Vaughn followed. She stuck it in
the neighbors key hole on the car door, turned it, the car was open, they would
save Sydney no matter what.
They got in the car and drove
away heading to the Los Angeles Airport to steal a plane.
CHAPTER 13 - SHATTERED
TRUST
LOS ANGELES AIRPORT
Irina and Vaughn got out of
the car and ran over to the airplane parking lot where the stole from last
time, they found the plane they wanted got in and took off.
10 HOURS LATER
SWITZERLAND - AIRPORT
Sydney got off the airplane
and headed toward the door, but then suddenly there was a gun to her head. She
looked up to see Vaughn.
“What?” She grabbed the gun
and put it in her other back pocket. “What do you want?”
“Sydney, come back, please, I
promise I’ll help you with everything your going through right now, Sydney, I
love you, now please come back to LA with us and be the Sydney you were before
you jumped out that window on the fifth floor of the CIA hospital, please,
Sydney, please just stop this, I love you and I don’t wanna loose you.”-Vaughn
She leaned into him.
“Michael, I’m sorry, but he, he killed me, I don’t know why I’m here, I died,
Weiss killed me, he threw me out of his car and ran me over and I died,
Michael, I’m dead. And that was after you and my mother shot me at Sloane’s
warehouse.”
“Baby, you never died,
believe me when I say you never died, he put you in some sort of alternate
reality and made it seem as though you died, when you never did, Sydney, I
promise you, I’ll keep you safe, you’re forever mine, you know that right?
Nobody’s ever gonna take you away from me, Sydney, you’re becoming
immortal.”-Vaughn
“What?” She walked over to a
bench and sat down, Vaughn sat down next to her.
“Sydney, you’re becoming
immortal, on October 1st, you’ll get older, but you’ll always look
30, forever, you’ll never die.”-Vaughn
“But, Michael, what if you
die?” Pure sadness flashed through her mind as she thought of what a nightmare
her life would be without him, she felt scared, lost, hopeless.
“Sydney, I promise, I’ll find
a way to cheat death, I really do.”-Vaughn
She smiled. “I love you, and
I will forever.”
“What about Alice showing up
at my apartment?”-Vaughn
“I’m gonna find her and chop
her up.”-Syd
He saw that she was serious
and threw her into a table. She screamed, she was afraid of the world, and
everyone along with it, she got up and limped to that bathroom and slammed the
door, she ran into a stall and locked it, she cried, she cried until her had no
more tears left, she hurt inside, she felt as though there was a hole in her
heart, as though she had died in pain, every time he accidentally hurt her, she
felt that way, she felt crushed, broken, like someone had shattered her into a
million pieces, like there was no hope.
All of a sudden she heard
someone pounding on the door, it was Vaughn.
“Sydney, are you ok? Please
come out, I’m so sorry, I never meant to hurt you, please, just please forgive
me, I love you, remember that, Sydney, I’d die for you, I’d give up everything,
just come out, I’m already in the women’s bathroom, save me from the
embarrassment and please, please come out and let me know you’re ok, Sydney,
I’ll love you forever.”
She knew he was sorry, that
he didn’t know what he was doing, but he hurt her, not only physically, but
mentally too. She unlocked the door and limped out of the stall to see Vaughn,
she could tell he was hurting inside for what he did to her.
He saw her and became even
more hurt and pissed at himself for hurting her, he walked up to her and
carefully picked her up and sat down.
She was mad at him, but she
almost couldn’t be, she loved him so much, he was the only one she could trust,
she had to forgive him, he was her only hope in life.
“Did I hurt you? If I did,
I’m sorry, I’ll never hurt you again, Sydney, I love you, now just forgive
me.”-Vaughn
“Michael, I understand that
you don’t like it when I’m serious about killing people, but when it’s
necessary, which is really is right now, just accept it, Michael, you did hurt
me, inside and outside and I’m ok with that, people make mistakes, I get
that.”-Syd
“Sydney, no you don’t get it,
I hurt you, don’t let me get away with it just because I’m your husband, let me
help fix everything I’ve screwed up, just let me clean up my mess.”-Vaughn
She held her leg, it felt
broken, just like she was, Vaughn knew what he did, and he wouldn’t let her
forgive him, he hurt her and he felt awful, he felt as though he had died.
“Alright, fine, I think my
leg is broken anyways.”-Syd
“Come on, Irina’s waiting,
I’ll carry you out if you want, just come with me.”-Vaughn
She knew she couldn’t stay
there, she didn’t even have any rooms booked, she just assumed she’d stay at
Sloane’s, so she decided to go back to LA.
“I’ll come back, just be
careful with me, I’m not unbreakable for another two weeks.”-Syd
“Of course I will Sydney, I
never wanna hurt you.” He got up off the floor, with Sydney in his arms and the
two of them walked out of the airport.
Once they got outside, they
saw Irina, she was getting impatient, anyone would know that just by the way
she stood there looking like she was gonna kill somebody.
“I see you found her after 3
hours, what took you so long?”
“We were talking and then she
said something about chopping up Alice, then I threw her into a table and she
ran into the bathroom hurt and broken hearted. I think she broke her leg when I
threw her into the table.”-Vaughn
Sydney slapped Vaughn in the
face really hard.
“Ow.”-Vaughn
“You hurt me, I hurt you, and
believe me when I say, what I just did was only round one.” She jumped out of
his arms and limped onto the airplane.
“Michael, I’m mad, but I
understand some people just do stupid things when they’re angry, but this is
Sydney, she’ll forgive you, but she’ll still hold a grudge against you forever,
I’m sure you know this, but I’m just reminding you, help her, don’t make things
even worse. If you make this even worse, she’ll hate you, and she always will,
Michael, don’t waste your chances, especially not the chances you have left
with Sydney.”-Irina
“I won’t, I promise, I’ll try
to control my anger, I won’t hurt her again, I promise.”-Vaughn
“Thank you Michael, now go
take care of her, I’ll get us back to LA, you do the rest.”-Irina
“All right.”
They both got into the plane,
and seconds later they were on there way back to LA.
Sydney kissed Vaughn. He
kissed her back, then he looked into her eyes and knew this was his last
chance, his last chance to stay with her forever.
CHAPTER 14 - DOOMS DAY
7 HOURS LATER
LOS ANGELES AIRPORT
They all got off the plane,
but as soon as they did, they were doomed, Sydney was doomed, it was all over,
their peace, their happiness, their love, it was all over.
Sark was there, with some
men. Sydney stabbed him, but that didn’t stop his men from attaching her and
shooting her with a tranquillizer dart. They went after Irina and Vaughn, but
they shot them with tranquillizer darts too and left them on the airport floor,
they carried Sydney out heading to their hide out.
3 HOURS LATER
SARK’S HIDE OUT
Sydney woke up in a cell, her
leg hurt badly, she was all alone, without anyone to comfort her and save her
from the darkness that was slowly consuming her. She couldn’t save herself from
the pain in her heart that she’s had ever since she woke up in Switzerland. It
was too late, she was doomed, if Sark wasn’t going to kill her, he’d torture her
instead, but it would most likely be the kind of torture that can injure a
person forever, mental torture, that was Sark’s favorite game.
Sydney knew she wouldn’t last
long, her fears were already killing her, slowly, but painfully, they were
overtaking her, causing her to fear even those she loved, those she knew loved
her. Vaughn loved her, but she let him fear her, she let the fear growing
inside of her consume her, until she was no longer in charge of her emotions,
she let her anger take over and destroy her, she let her hate for everyone come
before her love for everyone.
She felt like a horrible
person, but yet, she wasn’t, she just has become one over time due to the wall
of fear others have built up inside of her forever. She knew she had to be
saved from the darkness that was slowly consuming her, Vaughn could do that, he
could save her, he could save her from herself, from what she is turning into.
She knew he would find her and help her become the person she once was, but it
would take time, that is, if she could ever be that Sydney again, she doubted
she could, things were different now, so different.
All of a sudden, Anna
approached her cell, she seemed more welcoming than usual, but she didn’t mind,
she knew Sark couldn’t be playing with her mind, she felt too alive and her
world felt too real for it to be some game of his.
Anna opened the cell door,
she went in, Sydney couldn’t take it anymore, she knew something was up.
“What the hell do you want?”
“So that’s what I get for
checking up on you making sure you haven’t planned some get away?”-Anna
“It figures, all you care
about is this fucking game Sark wants you to play so he gets all the credit
from Sloane.”-Syd
“Listen, Sloane wants Sark to
kill you, he only has two more weeks left to do that, I’m pretty sure you know
why, I could help you get out of here, but if you wanna be a bitch to me, I
could just change the plan and kill you right now myself.”-Anna
“You don’t wanna help me, you
just want to be on Sloane’s good side for once.” She punched her in the face.
“I’m pretty sure I deserved
that, but still, Irina knows me, she knows I wouldn’t kill you voluntarily, it
would only be for the pay, the money, the treasure.”-Anna
“I hate you, you don’t care
about me, or my mother, or anyone, you’re just looking for and little fucking
thing you can get out of an offer.”-Syd
“That’s it, I’ve had it, you
had your chances.” She pulled out a knife and a gun. “Now I get to kill you.”
“Please, no, just give me a
chance, I’ll do anything, just don’t kill me, please, don’t ruin this.”-Syd
“Ruin what? I didn’t plan to
kill you anyway, I just love tricking people, especially you, into thinking I’m
gonna kill you.”-Anna
“Go to hell.” She threw Anna
against the side of the cell. “If you enjoyed pleasure in mind games, you would
of at least used restrains.” She limped out of the cell and out of the building
to find herself in the middle of LA. “Shit.” She ran into a portable toilet and
locked the door, she searched through her pockets to find $20. She brushed
through her hair and quickly looked for her cell phone, she found it. She
dialed Vaughn’s number franticly waiting for him to answer it.
“Hello?”-Vaughn
“It’s me.”-Syd
“Where are you?”-Vaughn
“Some place in the middle of
LA.”-Syd
“Can you give me a
street?”-Vaughn
“No, they’re looking for me,
just get your ass down to the south side of town and look for a gray warehouse
that looks like it’s gonna fall down, then just look for a construction site
and when you see a blue portable toilet thingy, just knock on the door.”-Syd
“Sure, I’ll be right
there.”-Vaughn
“Alright, bye.”-Syd
“I love you.”-Vaughn
“I love you too, now, Michael
can you please get your fucking ass over here.”-Syd
“Yeah, Sydney, I’ll be right
there.”-Vaughn
“Thanks, bye.”-Syd
The line went dead.
VAUGHN’S APARTMENT
“Sydney’s where?”-Irina
“Downtown.”-Vaughn
CHAPTER 15 - LOVE, HURT
& HATE
“Oh.”-Irina
“Listen, after this, we are
leaving the country, I’m getting so sick of this constant running from every
corner on earth just to save one of us, mostly Sydney, but that’s not the
point.”-Vaughn
“Michael, after 2 weeks, they
won’t be after her anymore, there won’t be a purpose for them to after her,
right now, they’re just trying to eliminate her before she becomes immortal.”-Irina
“I know, but this is what’s
best for Sydney, remember, she doesn’t want to live in fear anymore, and right
now, I’d think it would be best if we leave LA, if we leave the country, at
this point, Hawaii would even be fine. We’ll deal with this later, right now, I
need to go bring her back here before they find her.”-Vaughn
“Fine.”-Irina
Vaughn walked out of the
house, got in his car and drove as fast as his car could go, he wouldn’t let
this happen again, not a third time, they would live in happiness forever, no
matter what had to be done first.
He finally got to the
warehouse, he searched for the construction site, but couldn’t find it. He
looked around finally spotting it, he got out of his car and ran to find her,
he wouldn’t loose her, he promised himself he wouldn’t, he promised he’d find
her and bring her back, he promised he’s save her. But then, something occurred
to him, she wouldn’t tell him the exact location, he saw a large tipped over
chair, he lifted it up, no Sydney. He continued to look around until he became
tired and hungry, he ran back to his car.
“Don’t go anywhere, don’t
move, just stay where you are.”
“Sydney?” He looked around,
he didn’t see anything. “Sydney, please answer me.”
“What?”
He looked around, but still
didn’t see her. “Sydney, where are you?”
“Michael, be quiet, they know
I’m out here, but they don’t know where I am.”
“Sydney, where are you?” He
was freaking out, he couldn’t take it anymore.
Suddenly, he felt a hand
touch his foot, he looked down, to see her head. “Sydney, what the hell are you
trying to do to me?”
“Shut up, they’ll find us.”
She got out from under the car.
“Just get in and tell me how
the hell you pulled that off.”
They got in and drove away.
“I didn’t want them to find
me, so I ran from the toilets on the other side of the construction site, but
when I saw your car, I hid underneath it since I saw Anna looking for me.”-Syd
“Just don’t ever scare me
like that again, you had me freaking out.”-Vaughn
“Fine, but if I have to, I
will.”-Syd
“That’s fine, just tape on my
foot sooner next time, so I’m not freaking out for 15 minutes.”-Vaughn
“Sure, whatever.”-Syd
“You ok?”-Vaughn
“Actually no, but
whatever.”-Syd
“What’s wrong?”-Vaughn
“I could print off a
list.”-Syd
Vaughn rolled his eyes. “I
know the yesterday madness is definitely on there.”-Vaughn
“Wanna see a movie?”-Syd
He didn’t wanna make anything
worse so he just kept quit and drove the rest of the way home without saying
anything. Once they got to Vaughn’s apartment, they got out of the car and went
inside saying nothing to each other.
Sydney sat down on the couch,
Vaughn sat down on a chair facing in another direction. Irina noticed how odd
everything was and finally said something. “What the hell is going on?”
They both just sat there
quietly without saying a word.
“Can someone please tell me
what the hell is going on here?”-Irina
Still no answer.
“Sydney.”
Nothing.
“Sydney Anne Derevko, answer
me.”-Irina
Still nothing.
Irina walked into the living
room. “Tell me what the hell is going on now.”
Still nothing.
“Enough silence both of you,
answer me now, what the hell is going on here?”-Irina
“So I’m supposed to say
something?”-Vaughn
“Yeah, what the hell is going
on?”-Irina
“I don’t know.”-Vaughn
“Sydney Anne Derevko.”-Irina
Still nothing.
“SYDNEY.”-Vaughn
“What the fuck do you want me
to say? Do you want me to tell you that my husband has problems controlling his
anger and he hurts me and he acts like it’s no big deal? Is that what you
wanted to hear?” She stormed off to her and Vaughn bedroom, shut the door and
locked it.
“What did you do?”-Irina
“All I did was ask her what
was wrong, she said ‘Would you like me to print off a list?’ and I said ‘I know
the yesterday madness is definitely on there’ and then she changed the subject
by asking me if I wanted to see a movie and we haven’t talked to each other
since.”-Vaughn
“Michael, if you were her,
I’m sure you wouldn’t do a thing differently. Just leave her alone and stop bringing
it up, don’t make her even more mad, that’s the last thing she needs.”-Irina
“I know, I already hate
myself for it.”-Vaughn
“Michael, I know how it
feels, I’ve hurt people out of pure anger before too, but it is still your
fault.”-Irina
“I know, Irina, I
know.”-Vaughn
CHAPTER 16 - SYDNEY’S
DEATH
Have you ever wondered
what it felt like to die? Did you ever survive?
No, you died, but not
really, you died, and became someone else, someone you didn’t even want to be.
You were still the same person, you still had the same life, you still had the
same name, but you died, and became someone else, someone you hate, someone who
has so much despite for her life. You hate her, she hates you, but you’re still
Sydney Vaughn, just a different Sydney Vaughn, the Sydney Vaughn that fears
everyone and can’t be the person she once was, you can’t even be the Sydney
that you were before you hated life, and tried to commit suicide. Because of
this, everyone hates you, even your husband, he hurts you and fears you, he’s
afraid for you. Your mother thinks you’re a bitch and your life is a complete
disaster.
Sydney’s POV
I got out of the shower,
nearly killing myself in the bathroom. God, Michael, why did you have to throw
me into that god damn fucking table, my leg hurts like hell and I can barely
walk without killing myself or someone else. I’d like to kill you with my bare
hands for hurting me, your wife, although I still love you deep down inside.
If anyone asks for my
address, I’ll tell them it’s in hell so they should go fuck themselves. Then
I’ll tell them to screw over god and tell him that the shit you hear in church
is all a lie. The world is a bad place, but I’d rather share my peace with the
devil instead.
No POV
Sadly her peace was disturbed
when Vaughn knocked on the door.
“What the hell do you
what?”-Syd
“I just wanna talk to
you.”-Vaughn
“Well go take a brake and sit
‘n’ spin while I’m busy.”-Syd
“Sydney, what the hell is
wrong with you?”-Vaughn
“Go to hell and leave me
alone.”-Syd
“Sydney, stop it, god damn it
Sydney, could you just for once be the Sydney I fell in love with?”-Vaughn
“I can’t, the girl died,
Michael, that girl died, she died when I jumped out that fucking window and you
know it, accept it.”-Syd
“SYDNEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” He
couldn’t take it anymore. “Sydney, please, no, I love you, don’t do this.”
“Michael, stop it, you know
it, that girl isn’t me, she died, she died the day I jumped out that window,
just please stop it.”-Syd
“SYDNEY!!!!!!!!!!!”-Vaughn
“Michael, go away and leave
me the hell alone, I almost killed myself in here because of you, because you
hurt me, now leave me the hell alone.”-Syd
“Alright, Sydney, I’ll leave,
but I’m still staying in the house.”-Vaughn
Sydney didn’t answer, she
just felt angry.
She walked out of the
bathroom and into her bedroom. She put on her black leather clothing and
grabbed her two guns and cell phone and ran out of the house, but all of a
sudden, Irina was right in front of her.
“What the hell do you
want?”-Syd
“Sydney, Michael told me you
were being a bitch to him, why? Sydney, what’s going on?”-Irina
“Go fuck yourself.”-Syd
“Sydney, stop it, just stop
the crap, what the hell is going on with you?”-Irina
“I’m fine.”-Syd
“Sydney, you’re going to see
Jack today, me and Michael have decided you need to go.”-Irina
“You and Michael decided
what? Mom, you can’t control me, neither can Michael, how ‘bout you two go get
back to reality and stop the crap.”-Syd
“Sydney, you’re obviously in
no condition to go anywhere, stay here and please tell us what’s going
on.”-Irina
Sydney took out her gun and
shot Irina in the leg and then again in the shoulder.
“Sydney, shooting and killing
people doesn’t solve your problems, it might bring peace, but it won’t fix
anything.”-Irina
“We’ll see about that.”-Syd
She limped off, but tripped
at the end of the block. “Shit.”
She got in a car and drove
away, a woman came out of her house to see her car had been stolen and called
the police, in a matter of seconds Sydney was being followed by 4 squad cars.
“Damn it.” She sped up to 190
MPH and lost them. “Yes!” But soon enough they were on her tail again. “Shit.”
All of a sudden she crashed
into a tree and her world went black.
5 HOURS LATER
POLICE STATION
Sydney woke up handcuffed to
a chair in a small room, she looked up to see three officers in front of her.
“What the hell do you
want?”-Syd
“You were driving at 190 MPH,
in this country, you can not go over 75 MPH.”
“So.”-Syd
“You’ve broken the law.”
“Alright.”-Syd
“You must pay a $700 fine,
you may go, just sign this.” He handed her a piece of paper.
She signed it. A man took off
the cuffs and she left, but when she remembered her guns were missing, she went
back into the room.
“Give me my guns.”-Syd
He handed them to her. She
ran out the door, got in the car and drove away.
VAUGHN’S APARTMENT
Vaughn was inside helping
Irina.
“She’s a horrible
person.”-Vaughn
“Michael, she’s not the same
Sydney as she once was, and she never will be that Sydney again, ever.”-Irina
CHAPTER 17 - IT’S ALL OVER
Vaughn was furious. “What the
hell do you mean she’ll never be the same Sydney again? Tell me something I
want to hear for just one fucking second, tell me that everything will be how
it once was, tell me she’ll return to the Sydney I knew, tell me I can live in
peace without an insane wife.”
Irina looked Vaughn straight
in the eyes. “I don’t know if she’ll ever return to her old self, but there is
always hope, Michael, just have faith in her that she can survive her own
madness she put herself through.”
“So I’m just supposed to
stand here and watch her destroy this? I’m supposed to watch her turn
everything up-side-down? Irina, I can’t do that.”-Vaughn
“I’m not telling you to do
anything, I’m just reminding you that you can’t make Sydney do anything or stop
doing anything, you can’t fix this, only she can.”-Irina
“I can’t accept that.” He
couldn’t take it anymore, he wouldn’t let this happen, he wouldn’t live like
this, he had to fix everything, somehow.
“You’ll have to.”-Irina
“But I can’t, I love her too
much to let her do this, destroy this, destroy everything, our lives.”
“I know, Michael, I know, but
you have no choice, you can’t fix this, only she can, just accept it and trust
she’ll return to being the Sydney she was before ‘the incident’.”-Irina
“I’ll try, but what if she
can’t?”-Vaughn
“Don’t think that way
Michael, always have faith in her.”-Irina
“I’m gonna go find her.” He
walked out the door, got in his car and drove off.
THE PIER
What if you had a second
chance, a second chance to fix everything you messed up? What if you could
return to your former self and live life as that person you once were? What if
you still had a chance? What if nothing was over, what if it was just the
beginning, the beginning, not the end, the beginning of your true life, never
the end, what if you had the chance to start over and begin again? What if
everything could be the way you wished it was? What if you never became that
horrible cold hearted evil sinner that you hate? What if your life wasn’t over?
What if you could continue on and not remember the truth, the truth of what
really happened? What if you could live free of your fears so you didn’t ever
have to become that evil you hate? What if you never made that mistake, that
mistake that ruined everything, that destroyed your life, your love, and
everyone around you? What if everything was still ok? What if your destiny
never died, and you were still alive, what if that girl that died, that girl
that you once were could come back to live?
Sydney sat at the edge of the
pier, her feet in the water, she didn’t know how to be who she once was, she
didn’t know how to live the life she once lived, she didn’t know how to be that
girl. Suddenly her peace was disturbed when she was pushed into the water.
“When in your fucking life
would you have the nerve to do that to me, Sydney Vaughn?”
She looked up to see it was
Vaughn. “What the hell do you want?”
“Sydney, please, I’m
sorry.”-Vaughn
“No, Michael, you’re not.”
She got out of the water.
“Yes, Sydney, I am.”-Vaughn
She took off her shoes and
jacket, she set the two guns down. “I love you, but I’m sick of being treated
like a baby. I want Irina out of the house and I want nothing to do with her
anymore, I don’t want to see Jack, and I don’t wanna have to run away from you
anymore.”-Syd
“Sydney, it’s ok, I
understand, I promise you, one day everything will be perfect.”-Vaughn
“Tell that to your fucking
wife.”-Syd
“Sydney, don’t do this.”-Vaughn
“Make me stop, Vaughn, make
me.” She got up, picked up her guns and walked away.
“Sydney get your ass back
here.”
There was no answer, she was
gone, she had left, there was no chance for them to be together anymore, it was
all over, Irina was right, no one, but Sydney could fix this.
VAUGHN’S APARTMENT
“Irina, you must
leave.”-Vaughn
“All right, I’ll leave.” She
went to the door.
“Irina, I didn’t mean to make
you angry.”-Vaughn
“You didn’t do a thing, I
shouldn’t be here anyway.” She opened the door, walked out and left.
Sydney walked in the door,
Vaughn ran over to her and hugged her. She pushed him away and into the wall.
She slapped him and punched him extremely hard. She threw him over the counter.
“Sydney!”
“Shut up.” She hit him in the
head with a gun.
He got up and threw her to
the ground, causing her to drop her guns. “Stop it Sydney, just stop it, I hate
you, Sydney, I hate you.”
She tried to get up, but he
made her twist her ankle. “I hate you, Michael, I wish you were dead.”
He threw her through a
window, she screamed. She climbed back into the apartment and threw him to the
ground. He pushed her down, she got back up. He couldn’t stand what she was
becoming, it made him want to kill her, to make her suffer.
He pushed her into the living
room and threw her into the TV. She fell to the ground, she couldn’t take it
anymore, she hated it when stuff like this happened, but this time, it was all
her fault.
“Can we just stop this, can
we just be in love? Can I just live in happiness, instead of hell? Can’t this
just be over?”
He could see how bad she
felt, he ran over to her, hugged her, but she pulled away, she wouldn’t let him
love her, she wouldn’t let him care, she didn’t love anyone who hurt her, she
couldn’t, she wouldn’t, she let her fear and anger overtake her. She limped
over to the fridge for ice, but her was right there behind her, he wouldn’t
leave her, he wouldn’t let her hate him, he just loved her too much. For Vaughn
even saying he hated her hurt him, he couldn’t ever say he hated Sydney, it
tore him apart, it killed him, right now she was killing him, her hate for life
was killing him.
She grabbed her ice and
limped into his bedroom and locked the door, she hated this, she hated what she
was doing, but she had no control, she couldn’t do anything to fix it, to fix
the mess she had made.
CHAPTER 18 - THE SADNESS
IN THIS LIFE
I ruined this, I destroyed
this life, I threw it all away and ran far to hell to say hello to the devil
and curse all my enemies. I ruined it all, my future is gone, my world is gone,
my hope has disappeared, my faith had been lost, my soul has been captured…and
lost. I’ve been broken, all hope has been lost. My fears are taking over, I’m
trapped in a box. This is a disaster, it’s much worse than it seems, all who
love me, have waked away. And it’s all because I’ve turned into this person,
this girl even I hate, she’s worse than Satan. Her name is Sydney Vaughn, but
not Sydney Bristow, Sydney Vaughn, the heartless bitch who destroyed the heart
of the world. She ran away from those who cared, she made them hate her, she
made them fear her, she made them run away from her. I am that girl, I am
Sydney Vaughn, the girl who destroyed this, the girl who is almost gone. The
true Sydney died, and the new Sydney came, the Sydney who ruined life for
everyone and everything.
I look at myself in hate,
I know what I did, I’m scared to think. Everyone is scared, running for their
lives, they hate me, I hate them, but in truth, I love them. I pray for everyone
to forgive me, I pray for them to love me, I pray for them to care, I wish they
would treat me like the Sydney I once was, but they don’t, they treat me like
the girl that became me over time, that girl is worse that Irina Derevko, she’s
worse than the Devil, she’s pure evil.
Sydney’s POV
I walked out into the hall,
tripped and fell flat on my face. “Damn it Vaughn, if it wasn’t for you, I
wouldn’t be nearly killing myself.”
“Sydney, you ok, wanna talk?”
Vaughn walked into the hall and helped her walk to the couch.
“What do you wanna say
Michael? That you’re sorry? Well, sorry aint gonna cut it anymore.”-Syd
“Sydney, more than that, I’m
sorry, but you’ve gotta remember, you started the fight, not me, and plus, I
kicked Irina out for your sake.”-Vaughn
“You did? Thanks. Yeah, I
know, I’m sorry, I’m just not myself lately, I can’t help it.”-Syd
“It’s ok, it really is, but
please, don’t start anymore of these fights, I don’t like fighting you, my
wife, I can’t handle it.”-Vaughn
“It’s ok.” She looked down
waiting for that moment to be over.
“Sydney---”
She cut him off. “Michael, I
can’t be that girl, that girl died, she died when I jumped out that fucking
window a year ago.”
“Yeah, but---”
She cut him off again. “No,
Michael, I can’t, I can’t be the girl I was.”
“Sydney, please---”
She cut him off a third time.
“Good bye, Michael, this is over.” She grabbed her things and went to the door.
“Sydney, wait.”-Vaughn
She turned around. “Why,
Michael, why?”
“We’ll find a way.”-Vaughn
“Michael, I can’t be that
girl.”-Syd
“Sydney, don’t do
this.”-Vaughn
“Do what, Michael, do what?”
She walked out of the house, got in her car and drove away.
WEISS’ APARTMENT
“She just left, she said that
she couldn’t be that girl she was before she jumped out that window and she
left.”-Vaughn
“What?”-Weiss
Ignoring Weiss’ comment, he
continued. “And I don’t think she’s coming back this time.”
“Michael, you can’t let her
do this, go after her, drag her back into your apartment if you have to; whatever
it takes, it just has to be done.”-Weiss
“You’re right, I must find
her and make her fix this for both of us.”-Vaughn
SOMEWHERE
Sydney arrived at Vaughn’s
mother’s house, she didn’t know why she decided to go there in the first place,
but she was there, that was all that mattered.
She got out of her car,
walked up to the door, and knocked. She felt weird being the daughter of her
husband’s killer and all, but Amy Vaughn would have to deal, her and Vaughn’s
future together was at stake.
Amy got the door, She looked
at Sydney, she remembered the day she met her as a little girl.
“Hi, I haven’t seen you in a
while.”
Sydney walked in. “I need
some help.”
She shut the door, they
walked into the living room and sat down.
“So what is it?”
“Michael won’t accept me for
who I am and I would like it if you’d talk to him for me.”-Syd
“What?”
Sydney just sat there.
“I’ll take care of this for
you, but I’ll warn you, he may be mad about you coming to me about this later.”
Sydney just nodded. Amy went
to go call Vaughn.
ALICE’S HIDEOUT
Alice walked around her room,
wondering how she could kill Sydney, before it was too late.
AMY VAUGHN’S HOUSE
Sydney walked up to Amy.
“What did he say?”
“He said he’d talk to you
when he gets back.”
“Oh, alright.”
She walked out whispering to
herself. “Bring on the torture.”
She got in her car and drove
away, back to Vaughn’s apartment. Once she got there, she prepared herself for
non-stop torture from Vaughn, he husband. She walked in.
“What’d you do that?”-Vaughn
“Do what?”-Syd
“Go to my mom?”-Vaughn
“You wouldn’t listen to me,
somebody had to talk some sense into you.”-Syd
“Sorry, but, Sydney, I just
wish there would be a chance---”
She cut him off. “A chance
for what Michael, a chance for what? For me to be some kind, nice selfless girl
that you loved and cared about, no, Michael, I’ll never be that girl…and you
know that…just love me for who I am, who I’ve always wanted to be, me.”
She walked to the door.
“Sydney, don’t leave, please,
please don’t go.”
“Michael, make me stay, make
me stay with you, make me live like this.”-Syd
“Sydney, I love you, I always
will, that girl didn’t die, Sydney, you’re still that girl, just I little
different, Sydney, that girl’s still inside of you, you just have to get her
back.”-Vaughn
“I don’t want to be that
girl, Michael, and I won’t be.” She opened the door.
CHAPTER 19 - THE RESULTS…
“Sydney, stay, I promise, I
won’t try to change you, I’ll just love you for who you are, I’ll just be
there, there for you.”-Vaughn
“No, Michael, you’ve already
had enough chances, it’s over, it’s all over, good bye, Michael, good bye.”
She ran out of the house,
tripping and nearly killing herself, but she got up and got to her car, leaving
Vaughn confused, confused as hell.
SWITZERLAND
Sloane was on the phone
talking to Sark.
“She got away? What? How the
hell did that happen? Sark, you’re a dead man, you know that right?”
“I’m sorry sir, I’ll capture
her and kill her before the next two weeks have pasted.”-Sark
“And if you don’t, I’ll kill
you instead, Sydney was a good girl, she always has been, but she deserves to
die, die and never get her immortality.”-Sloane
“Arvin, Anna was right,
you’re a horrible person, you’d kill your own daughter, the daughter you
created, just for inner peace.” He hung up.
“Sark, how dare you hang up
on me.”-Sloane
ALICE’S HIDEOUT
“Sloane, what the hell do you
want?”-Alice
“You must come back to
Switzerland, now.”-Sloane
“Why?”-Alice
“Because you’re dead, dead,
dead, that’s why.”-Sloane
“You’re gonna send me back to
my grave? Why? You know Rambaldi will kill you if he knows you only revived me
for personal gain. He’ll kill you for tricking him into reviving me all for
nothing. He’ll kill you for telling him if he revived me, you’d find a way to
revive him, when you really don’t want him alive, and you’d never revive
him.”-Alice
“Where did you hear that
shit?”-Sloane
“Your journal.”-Alice
“What? How did you even know
I had one or where I hid it?”-Sloane
“I’m dead, I have my
ways.”-Alice
4 HOURS LATER
HAWAII - SYDNEY’S HOTEL
ROOM
Sydney sat on her bed, she
was glad to be in Hawaii, far away from Vaughn, the thing was, he had no idea
where she was, or so she thought, she was glad to finally be some place where
she could be in place. She could go to the beach, she could stay far away from
Vaughn forever, or maybe not, but all she knew was she couldn’t live with him
treating her like she had mental problems or she had some special condition he
needed to tend to. She wasn’t anything like that, but sometimes, he treated her
that way. She just wanted to treat her the way her did before she jumped out
that fucking window, but she knew he wouldn’t, she knew he would never treat
her the same, ever again, it was all over, their love was gone, it had vanished
over time and there was nothing either of them could do about it since Vaughn
wouldn’t treat her the same as he once did. She needed to be who she is, who
she always was, the girl she is now, not that girl she was before she jumped
out that freaking window, the girl she always wanted to be, but she really was
that girl, she just didn’t let that part of her control her until now.
“Michael, say good bye.”
If you only wished to cry,
cry until all the tears were out, till you couldn’t cry anymore, you could
maybe say your wish, your wish to never run away, fight until you win, but what
if it didn’t work, what if you were stuck with a husband who couldn’t accept
you as ‘you’? What if all hope wasn’t lost? What if you could have survived?
What if you could just cry? Let all the tears out, until you can’t stop? Just
live in peace, happiness, move on and be yourself without all the worries, the
fear of falling apart again, but what if you were about to fall apart, have it
all happen again? It would all be over, it wouldn’t be a game, it would just be
over, because then you’d really die, but what if that was your destiny, death
was your destiny, and you couldn’t stop death because as you know, you can’t
stop death from happening.
She ran into the bathroom, put
on her bikini and limped out of her room, and down the road, onto the beach,
and into the water. She just sat in that water, that salty, Ocean water. She
had never been happier without Michael in her life. Could this be the start of
a new chapter in her life? Could she actually be moving on? Maybe things we
just different now - hopefully things would stay that way, peaceful and calm,
away from Vaughn.
VAUGHN’S APARTMENT
Vaughn’s POV
What did I do?
What did I say?
Was I that bad?
Like you say
What did I do?
I’m so stupid, I made her
leave
I pushed her too far
I made her hate me
I destroyed this, she didn’t,
I did
Irina says only Sydney can
fix this
She was WRONG
Only I can fix
this mess
It’s all MY
fault
NOT Sydney’s
She WASN’T
over
There was STILL a
chance
For ME to fix
this all
For us to be TOGETHER
forever
For eternity
Just me and her
No one else to get in the
way
Just me and her
Maybe everything was still
alright
Eric was RIGHT, I CAN’T let her
run away from me,
I have to go bring her back
to ME
Here is this life, destiny
calls you to come back to me, Sydney, please still love me, have faith in me,
please, Sydney.
CHAPTER 20 - THE END…
HAWAII
Sydney came into her hotel
room at 3am. There was a message on her cell phone, it was from Vaughn, she
dialed her number, hearing the message that ruined her happiness.
Sydney’s POV
He said he loved me, now I
was crying, he loved me. More tears came she didn’t know what to say, she was
so mad…at herself, she couldn’t believe what she had done…leaving and all. But
then my phone rung, at 3 am! It was so weird, it was him, Vaughn. I got the
phone just in time, but all he said was,
“Sydney, Irina…Irina’s dead.”
Those were the words that
changed her life, forever.
“What the fuck do you mean
she’s dead? Tell me this is some sort of sick joke, tell me this is just a
fuckin’ dream, tell this isn’t fucking real. Please tell me this isn’t true.
God damn it don’t do this, not now, not ever.”
I couldn’t take it anymore,
this was just too horrible for me to even think about.
“Sydney, I’m sorry, she’s,
she’s dead, ok, she’s dead.” He was n complete sadness, even for a woman that
killed his father.
“Michael, stop it, just stop
it. How can you even tell me this? Tell me this shit you’re telling me right now
isn’t real, tell me it’s just a god damn freaking dream, Michael, please.”
“Sydney, this is real, this
is really happening, just try to deal, where are you, let me come get you.”
“Michael, you can’t, I’m in
Maui, Hawaii.”
“What the hell are you doing
in Maui?”
“I took a flight here, to
Maui because I needed to get away, from you.”
“Sydney!”
I couldn’t take it anymore,
this was a complete nightmare. I felt like I was going to die.
“How did she die?”
“She had a heart attack.”
She threw her phone out of
the window, which happened to be on the edge of a cliff 100 feet up.
She had enough, she was about
to do something she’d thought she’d never do ever again.
WEISS’ APARTMENT
Vaughn banged franticly on
Weiss’ front door, he was worried about Sydney, he kept thinking she’d do
something stupid, but he didn’t even want to go there.
Weiss answered the door.
“What?”
“Get your ass out here, I
think Sydney might do something to ‘die’. Irina died, she hung up on me, she’s
in Hawaii.”-Vaughn
“What the---, shit.”-Weiss
“Could you tell me if you
know where I could get a plane that could get us there sooner than 4
hours?”-Vaughn
“Yeah, I do, but it could be
too late by then.”-Weiss
“I don’t care, it’s better
late than never.”-Vaughn
“True.”-Weiss
HAWAII - SARK’S SECRET
HIDEOUT
Sark sat on his chair in his
office. He was putting together a machine gun, but a phone call disturbed him.
“Hello?”
“Don’t even attempt the
murder, she’ll take care of it for us.”-Sloane
“Who? What? When? Why?”-Sark
“Sydney’s doing a fine job
killing herself, don’t bother trying to kill her yourself, she’ll be dead
before you can even get there.”
With that the line went dead.
Sark put his phone down in
complete shock.
“This is interesting, there
should be a Sydney Suicide Organization I should be able to join.”
2 HOURS LATER
A FIELD IN HAWAII
Vaughn and Weiss landed the
plane, got out and walked over to the hotel where they assumed Sydney was
staying and went inside and after looking threw all the rooms, they got to
Sydney’s room, but when they did, it was too late, it was already over, Sydney
was gone. Vaughn saw a note on the table, it was from her, it said:
I’m sorry for leaving you,
hopefully, I’ll come back, I jumped and died, happy now?
How are you gonna clean up
after yourself this time, Hun, Michael? How?
Cause I don’t honestly see
how you can now since I’m dead, dead in the pacific ocean, good bye, Michael,
good bye.
“Mike, are you ok?”-Weiss
“She’s dead, she committed suicide, this time, she really died, she didn’t survive.”
