| this is a different version of the jimi hendrix classic, not the "purple haze" that appeared on the "stone free" tribute album...this was recorded especially for the launch of "virgin 1215" radio in 1993. the "stone free" version of "purple haze" brings the song into the 1990's complete w/samples and loops...but this version was more true to the original, and is very very good. |
