Chapter Twenty Two- Suspicions or Truth

Cassranda, are you ok? Cassys mother asked two months later. Two long months later.
Cassys only contact with Justin had been Stephanie taking notes back and forth between
the two.

Im fine mother, Cassy sighed, rolling her head to the other side of the pillow. She had
been sick for the last week and her mom was getting really worried. Her mom was
wanting her to go to the doctors, but Cassy couldnt bring herself to. Afraid that the
doctor would only say that ger suspicions were true. That it wasnt just some ordinary
cold that would go away within a few days.

That he would say that it was morning sickness..... that she was pregnant..... that her and
Justin were going to be parents.

OK honey, Dianne sighed. Well I have a luncheoun to go to. Make sure to eat
something.

Cassy groaned at the mention of food. She got up and looked out her window in time to
see her mom pull out. She then went around her room gathering things she would need
before she too left the large house.

Cassy? Whatre you doing here? Justin asked, quickly ushering her in for fear that her
father might be hiding in the trees. Cassy, whats the matter? he asked as  tears started
streaming down her cheeks. He took her in his arms, holding her soothingly till she
calmed down. Now whats wrong?

Cassy looked away from Justin before saying, I think Im pregnant.

What? Justin said, the color draining from his face.

Cassy started crying harder as Justin held her. We were so stupid. We didnt even use
protection!

Shhh, Justin said, holding her at arms length. You dont know for sure though, do
you?

Cassy shook her head. I was going to go to one of those free clinics, but I didnt want to
go alone. And I couldnt take Steph, cause she has a big mouth. If she told my parents,
Id be dead!

Alright calm down, Justin said once again, holding her close to him. Ill go with you.

Thank you Justin, Cassy sniffled, clinging to him.
