| Chapter One- Escape The loud chatter of students while they ate their lunch pounded inCassranda Smith�s ears. She felt annoy as the kids went on like not a single thing was wrong in their lives. A headache started to form, pounding in her head. She sighed loudly. Her best friend Stephanie looked over at her weirdly. �What�s wrong Cassy?� �This, all of this,� Cassy motioned her hand about the whole school cafetaria. Mainly to the end of their table where Stephanie�s boyfriend Jayden and his friends were goofing off. �I just can�t wait to get out of high school.� �Newsflash Cass, you got two more years!� Stephanie pointed out. Cassy made a face. She then picked up her lunch tray of food which she had barely touched and went to throw it away. �What�re you doing?� Stephanie called out from her seat. �I�m outta here,� Cassy mumbled as she took her keys out of her purse while heading out to the school parking lot. She got in her mother�s car and drove away from the school as fast as she could. |
