Blessed

He gently brushed her chestnut brown hair away from her face, as she silently slept,
nuzzled into his arm. SHe was as close as can be, not that he minded.

He starred at her sleeping figure, as her chest slowly rised up and down. She looked
almost heavenly, like an angel sent from God. He couldnt believe he was si blessed to
have her here with him. He had almost blown that chance for good.

It wasnt even 24 hours ago, that they had the arguement. The one where he could have
lost her forever.

She had confronted him about a rumour that was going around about him. She knew it
probably was nothing, as the press always made lies about him, yet she had to be
reassured by him that it indeed was false.

But he couldnt say it was false.

From there it was war, as both threw words of hatred at the other, even though neither
meant it.

But then she walked away. Just like that. He later learned that it was because she didnt
want him to see her cry. This made him feel horrible, to know he was the one who caused
her unhappiness, when he was so use to causing only happiness in her life.

After she had left, and he had time to calm down, he relized how much in the wrong he
was. The problem though, was to show her that.

It took him awhile, but she finally forgave him.

This is why he was so blessed, just to be able to hold her in his arms and watch her sleep.
