Chapter 1 - Love: A deep, tender, ineffable feeling of affection and solicitude toward a person, such as that arising from kinship, recognition of attractive qualities, or
a sense of underlying oneness.

+++

Shinya held the bottle of black nail polish in his pale-white hands, smacking the bottom of it violently.

"Kami-sama, it's all gone," the auburn haired beauty said to himself. He sighed, looking around the room noticing only Die. The others had gone for a smoke and Die
was finishing his makeup. He got up from his chair, walking to where the guitarist was.

"Die," Shinya said, causing the red head to look up from the mirror.

"Hai, Shinya?" Shinya placed the tip of his finger on the top of Die's black nail polish.

"Can I borrow this?" he asked. Die nodded and so, Shinya took a hold of the nail polish, but Die quickly grabbed Shinya's wrists.

"Only if I can paint them for you," added Die, grinning. Shinya arched his eyebrows, letting go of the nail polish and took Die's hand off his skin. He glanced at his
hand and back up at Die. His hand then Die. Hand. Die. Hand. Die. Hand. Die.

"Fine," answered the drummer, rolling his eyes. Die smiled and grabbed a chair from behind him, bringing it to the table Die sat by.

"Sit," he mumbled, opening the bottle of nail polish with Shinya sitting down, afterwards.

"Now," Die demanded, sticking his hand out, "give me your hand." The drummer looked up at the red head, moving his hand nervously towards him. He placed it into
Die's hand causing Die to gasp.

"Nani?" Shinya asked, arching his eyebrows again.

"Your hands are so soft," the guitarist said, bringing Shinya's hand up to his face and rubbing it against his cheek.

"You need to tell me how to get it so soft." Shinya glared, pulling his hand away from Die.

"Can you please just hurry up and do this?"

"Fine fine," mumbled the red head. He gently grabbed Shinya's hand again and then gripped one finger with his own finger. He took the small paint brush out from the
bottle of nail polish and gently brushed it onto Shinya's nail. He lifted the drummer's hand towards his face, softly blowing onto the nail. He repeated this until
both hands were done.

"Arigato," Shinya said, pushing his chair away from the table.

"Hey," the guitarist insisted, "I'm doing two coats, so sit down and wait till it dries." Shinya crossed his legs and scratched his cheek, lightly.

"Demo... I really should just hurry up and change," he responded.

"Shush, Shinya. It's only going to take a second to dry and to put it on another coat. Plus, this is only a practice, so don't go getting all dressed up for nothing," the
redhead's voice said.

"Arigato, Die-sama," Shinya said, bowing his head.

"No problem," he replied, taking the drummer's hand into his own again. He took the small paint brush from the bottle out again and applied the paint onto Shinya's nails.

"There's a tiny spot I need to fix," the red head mumbled.

"Die..." the auburn haired beauty said. Still painting Shinya's nails, Die answered,

"Hai?" Die looked up at Shinya and Shinya stared right back into his eyes, mumbling something.

"Nani? I didn't hear what you just said." Shinya swallow hard and closed his eyes shut.

"Aishiteru," his voice repeated through his lips. There was a long pause and Die could notice the fear/worry on Shinya's face.

"Ai... Aishiteru?" the redhead asked. Shinya could feel Die's fingers loosen and he threw his hand back to his side, contacting it with his own body once again.

"Gomen... I knew I shouldn't have said anything. Gomen nasai, Die-san. It was just a joke, anyway," the auburn haired said, getting up. Die got up as well and shook his head.

"No Shinya," stated Die, "you weren't joking."

"Yes I was,?said Shinya.

"No you weren't, Shinya," Die repeated.

"Yes I was! How dare you say that I wasn't when I was!" shouted the drummer, glaring.

"No you weren't," the red head said.

"Yes I was!" Shinya shouted.

"No you weren't."

"Yes I was."

"No you weren't."

"No... I wasn't," Shinya whispered, looking down at the ground, sighing after.

"It's alright, Shinya," said Die, as he got up towards the auburn haired beauty and threw his arms around him, but Shinya pushed him away.

"Don't touch me," replied the drummer, glaring. Being curious, Die asked,

"What's wrong Shinya? Are you okay?"

"I'm perfectly fine. Everyone gets rejected at least once in their lifetime. It's just my turn," the auburn haired beauty replied, picking up his purse off the counter.

"Shinya, it's not that I don't love you," Die stated, "just not in that way." Shinya seemed to have a gleam of hope in his eyes as Die began that sentence, but his face
became disappointed once Die finished.

"I'm going now," he said. Die looked at his wrist, which was where his watch was.

"Practice is still on, Shinya," he told him. Shinya had his back turned and threw his head back, shutting his eyes.

"Kuso," he whispered and Die obviously did not hear.

"I'm going for a walk then," he said, removing the thin hair strands from his face.

"Are you sure you're okay?" the guitarist asked. Shinya turned his head to the side and looked at him, smiling.

"Of course! I understand! There's nothing to be unhappy about, no?"

"That's right, Shinya. I'm glad you're not sad about this or anything. Usually people get so depr-" said Die, but was interupted by Shinya, who was still smiling.

"I know, Die. Anyway, I'm going for the walk now. Don't start without me."

+++

The guitarist saw the others leaned up against the wall, holding cigarettes between their two fingers. Kyo, although, leaned against a pole, with the cigarette in his
mouth. Die walked towards them, searching through his pockets. He took out a cigarette and looked at Kaoru.

"Lighter? Match? Something with fire?" he asked. Kaoru smirked, handing the red head a lighter. Die lightly bowed his head and so, he lit the cigarette, placing it
between his lips.

"So, Die..." Toshiya, being nosy, asked, "Did the two of you... talk about anything?"

"Shinya and I?" Die asked, looking at Toshiya. In response, the bassist nodded.

"You knew? Well, er...uh...damn... I told him the truth; how I really felt," said Die, slightly laughing here and there.

"Meaning...?" asked the blue haired fellow.

"Shinya told Die he loved him and my lovely Totchi-kun is interested on what his reply was," answered the purple haired guitarist. Die took the cigarette from his lips
and blew out the smoke.

"You knew too?" the red head questioned.

"Die," said Kaoru, "everyone knows you have a thing for him."

"I do not," said Die.

"It's just that you've never made a move on him, so I told him he should do it. There's no way he could get rejected and so, he told you," said Toshiya, smiling.

"But I don't," Die said, again, but everyone ignored him.

"I bet there was a sweet, passionate kiss with an embrace afterwards," said Toshiya. Kaoru threw his arm around his beloved's shoulder.

"I bet there was tongue too," Kaoru added to Toshiya's comment, grinning. Toshiya smiled, rolling his eyes.

"Am I right, Die?" he asked.

"Hello! Have none of you been listening!? I don't like Shinya! It's like incest! I see Shinya as my brother!" Die shouted. The blonde vocalist bursted out laughing,
while the others stood there in shock. Toshiya's jaw opened causing his cigarette to hang from his mouth for a moment and then falling to the ground.

"I hope you didn't tell him that," he said.

"Hai! I did!" the red head shouted.

"Die! You dumbass! Go to him right now and tell him you love him!" shouted the bassist.

"But I don't fucking love him!"

"Of course you do. You always think about him you horny bastard," teased the blonde lyricist, smirking.

"Yes you do, Die! Why else would you tease him!? You could never have a normal conversation with him because you'd be too nervous, so you tease him!" Toshiya shouted.

"Die," added Kaoru, "do you not notice how you look at him? And how every time you two stop talking, all you do is talk about him? You're such a baka, Die." The
guitarist paused for a moment, thinking about what they both have just said. He didn't understand. His friends noticed that he was in love with Shinya, yet he had
no clue. Did he really? Did he not? He really didn't know.

"I don't know," he mumbled.

"Just think of kissing him Die! If you enjoy that, then you must!" shouted Toshiya.

"Not just kissing. You see, think of Shinya. Do you feel warm inside? Do you feel nervous? Do you feel anything?" suggested Kaoru. Die massaged the area between his eyes.

"Can we just go back to practice?" he asked. Kaoru threw his cigarette on the ground and replied,

"Alright, but think about it, Die."

+++

45 minutes passed and Shinya did not return to practice. You could say, they were upset, but they understood. Die was a little disappointed that Shinya did not come
back. Shinya lied to him, really. Not a big lie, but he still felt unhappy about it.

"Where could he be? He did say he would be back after the walk," questioned Die.

"I guess he's not coming back," said Toshiya, walking up behind the red head and smacking the back of his head.

"Itai! What was that for!" shouted Die.

"If you would of told Shinya the truth, he would be here right now, but he's not. Damnit Die!" The blue haired fellow groaned.

"Yaka mashii, Toshiya. Once practice is over, I'll go visit him and we'll talk about it. By then I'll be sure if I do or not," said Die, glaring.

"Ah, just go over there and screw the poor boy," said Kyo. Kaoru put his hand over Kyo's mouth.

"Do what?"

"If I... you know... love him or not," Die replied. The blue haired fellow slightly elbowed the guitarist and whispered something into his ear.

"Practice is over," said Kaoru. Toshiya kissed his lover's forehead and smiled. He then looked over at Die, smiling, and said,

"Hey! Look! Practice is over! Now you get to go and see Shinya." Die rolled his eyes.

"Baka Totchi," he mumbled. Toshiya grinned as he threw his arms around Kaoru from behind.

Chapter 2 - Rain: Water condensed from atmospheric vapor and falling in drops

+++

The rain poured down heavily against Die's body. Shinya's voice, which said those three words, repeated in his head like a pendulum. He would hear it in his mind
non-stop. He took out the crumbled piece of paper out from his jacket and his eyes gazed at the letters and numbers. On it read Shinya's address which Toshiya
had written down and gave to him. He was on his way to the bus stop, which was a few blocks away and lead him to Shinya's house. It wasn't a busy street he
was on. Infact, rarely did a car turn down this street. It was a nice, quiet street. Die sighed as he thought of the situation.

"God I have no clue if I do or not," he said to himself. He stuck the piece of paper back into his pocket, along with his hands.

"Hell," he added, "I have no idea if I even like guys!" He sighed, shaking his head a bit so the few pieces of wet hair left his face.

"Whatever," the red head whispered. He had no idea what to think. The others seemed to be convincing him that he did, earlier, but now he wasn't sure.

//I must if everyone else says so// Die thought. He ran his fingers through his soaked hair and wiped the liquid that had fallen upon his face. Die then reached into his
back pocket and pulled out his wallet. He had always kept a picture of the group in there. He opened it up, covering the picture with his hand so it wouldn't get
wet. The guitarist stared at Shinya in the picture and a small smile formed on his lips.

"Okay," he whispered, "so I do... have feelings for him." He chuckled a bit as he continued walking and staring at the picture. Because of this, he didn't realize any
objects in front of him; he wasn't paying attention to the sidewalk. Suddenly, the next thing that happened was that he was now lying on the ground. He had
slipped in a puddle and fallen backwards.

His eyes opened after a few moments and he sat up on the ground. The red head looked to his side to see the wallet next to him. He clutched the wallet back into his
hands and got up. A few parts of his body ached, but he knew could survive.

+++

On the bus, Die took out his cell phone and dialed Kyo's number, but no one answered. He tried again and still, no one picked up. Die groaned, putting his cell
phone back into his coat pocket. He wanted to call and tell Kyo about his decision. He was hoping Kyo would be pleased and everything, but it seems he was
ignoring his cell or perhaps it was off. Die could never tell...

The red head looked around the bus and noticed it was empty. He could of so easily drove his car to Shinya's home, but his car was in the shop. He stared out the
window and sighed.

"Shinya," the guitarist's voice whispered.

//At least I don't have to wonder if he loves me back or not... but still... How could I've been so stupid? Why did I tell him I cared for him only as a friend? Kami-sama, Die!
You are such a moron!// He took the small piece of paper out of his pocket again and looked at the street name. He glanced outside and backed down at the paper. He
memorized the number and stood up, pulling the wire/string telling the driver to let him off the next stop. The red head walked towards the doors and once the bus stopped, he
got off. He looked around; up and down; left and right, but stopped at this one small house. He paused for a moment, thinking of the number for the drummer's house.
He looked at the paper one more time to see if he was correct and he was, so he looked on the road. No cars coming either, so he ran across, arriving at the house. He
walked up the three steps and stopped on the small porch. He lightly knocked on the door, biting his lip, but no one answered, so he knocked again, but this time he
knocked harder so it was louder. Still, he received no answer at all. He knew someone was home because the lights in the house were on and Shinya's car was in the
driveway. Die wasn't sure if Shinya was in the bathroom or somewhere where he couldn't hear the knock, so he tried the doorbell. He tried it again... and again... and again...
No answer.

//Knowing Shinya, there should be an extra key somewhere around here// Die thought to himself. He licked his teeth with his tongue and looked around the door. He put his
hand under the welcome mat, but there was nothing there. He poked his finger between the tiny space that was between the mailbox and the wall. There was nothing
there, also. Then, he tried the door ledge and the gutarist was in luck because there was a key there and hopefully, that was the house key. He nervously stuck the key into
the lock and turned it. Thankfully, the door was unlocked and Die gently pushed the door opened, walking in.

//I hope he doesn't mind me letting myself in... Maybe I should of called...// he thought, closing the door behind him.. He began calling out Shinya's name, but he got no
answer. He walked around, but heard no movement what-so-ever, but when he walked downstairs, he heard the water running.

"Shinyas bathing isn't he?" Die mumbled, walking towards the door. He stopped right in front of it, knocking on it softly a few times, saying Shinya's name. Once again, no
response. He tried a few times, but just gave up, so he opened the door.

//Well, he doesn't have anything that I haven't seen before...// He walked in and the first thing he saw was a tub filled with lightly red coloured water.

"Shinya!" his voice screamed. He ran to the tub, turning the water off. It was overflowing just a tad and the water was started to flow towards the door. He looked at Shinya
and shook his shoulders, calling out his name. Infact, screaming. The guitarist began to cry, as he picked up the auburn haired beauty's body up from the tub with his
strong arms. He kneeled down, still holding Shinya's body close to himself. He grabbed the arms of the one he loved, gazing at the huge, deep marks incised into his pale-white skin.
He wept as he cradled the drummer's body.

"No... No... You're alive... Yes, Shinya... You're alive... Wake up... Please... Wake up," he whispered, crying as he said every word to one in his arms. He swallowed hard,
gently pushing Shinya's head against his chest, slowly stroking his long auburn strands.

"Shinya, you can't die on me.. No... Not yet! I love you, Shinya..." Die cried. He got up, with the body uncomfortably in his arms, and grabbed a few towels. He walked as
fast as he could towards the couch, softly putting down the gentle body onto it. He wrapped the towels around Shinya and most importantly, his arms. He wiped the liquid
that trailed down his cheeks away as he picked up the phone next to the couch. Die called 911 and told them everything and soon, they would arrive.

"Shinya," whispered Die with a few tears falling down his cheeks, "I love you. You'll be alright... I know you will be. You're Shinya. The strong drummer for Dir en grey.
Strong emtionally and physically..." He lightly caressed Shinya's cheek with the back of his hand and kissed his forehead. He rested his head gently upon the drummer's chest.
"Heartbeat," he mumbled, "I hear a heartbeat." He gripped Shinya's wet clothes into his one hand and moved the few pieces of hair out of Shinya's eyes with the other. Die just
sobbed quietly and didn't do anything else. He just stared at the figure he was resting on and his heart would fall apart everytime he blinked.

Die took a deep breath, taking out his cell phone. Still resting on Shinya, he dialed Kaoru's number and then he put the phone up to his ear.

"Moshi moshi," said the voice on the phone. The red head swallowed heard and asked,

"Kaoru... You live the closest to Shinya, right?"

"Die," questioned Kaoru, "are you okay?"

"Are you or not?" Die asked, impatiently.

"I believe so," Kaoru replied and the sound of his voice made Die knew that Kaoru was completely confused.

"Get over here now," said the guitarist, taking a long pause before.

"Where? Shinya's house?" Kaoru asked.

"Hai!" Die screamed.

"What for?" Kaoru kept asking questions.

"No more questions! Just come over here now!" he shouted, pushing the end button. He threw the phone at the wall and screamed. Die gazed back at Shinya and tears began
to flow from his almond shaped eyes again.

Chapter 3 - Death: The act of dying; termination of life.

+++

The red head paced acrossed the floor nervously, screaming inside his head. Nurses and doctors kept insisting that he sit and calm down, but he responded with
anger and rage. He blamed himself for this whole matter and he just wanted to kill himself for doing this.

//I'm such a fucking moron! Why!? Why didn't I even realize it earlier?! This wouldn't of happened!// he screamed in his head. Die dropped to this knees and looked
up at the ceiling, interlocking his hands together. Tears began to flow rapidly down his cheek again.

"Please Kami-sama! If you have any soul... any heart to forgive what I've done... Then please let Shinya be alright...! I promise you I'll make everything better for
him! I promise to tell him everything and to take care of him forever!" the guitarist screamed. Die heard quick motion of footsteps from behind, so he turned
around and stood up. The first thing he saw was a fist coming in his direction. The fist hit his face, causing the red head to fall back down upon the ground. He
touched his lip lightly and then gazing his at finger which had a drop of red on it. Die looked up with his mouth opened; shocked. There stood Kyo... An image you
could never imagine to visual. Black eyedrops fell down his skin from the makeup, yet his eyebrows were arched and his teeth clenched. Obviously, Kyo was a
mixture of unhappy and furious.

"I hate you, Ando Daisuke!" his voice wailed, throwing his fist back into the air, but was stopped by another hand; Toshiya's hand. Die threw his arm's in his face,
before Toshiya had stopped Kyo's hand. He slowly took them down, afterwards, staring up at the bassist and the vocalist. He dragged himself across the floor
and sat up against the wall, bringing his knees to his chest.

"This is all your fault! If you weren't so stupid, Shinya would be alive and smiling, but no... You were an asshole and lied to not only to him, but yourself! I hope this
always sticks with you Die... All this guilt-" shouted Kyo, but was interupted by the lead guitarist.

"That's enough!" Toshiya and Kyo both looked up, but Die only glanced up and threw his head into his hands, sobbing uncontrollably.

"Don't blame anyone. This is not the time to do this nor will it ever be because it is no one's fault. End of story," Kaoru continued. The red head looked up at him with
his sadden eyes.

"Is Shinya... dead? Dead like Kyo said so...?" asked Die, softly. Kaoru kneeled down beside the guitarist and threw his arms around him.

"He'll be alright Die... I promise you he will be," replied Kaoru, as the red head sobbed in his arms. Kyo gripped Toshiya's clothing into his hand, tightly and looked
up at him. Toshiya hugged Kyo, stroking his hair, as they both cried together.

+++

A few hours passed in the white building and Kyo rested upon Toshiya's shoulder, as the two sat down on chairs. Kaoru still sat down beside Die who had stopped
crying, but was madly shaking. Die did not speak a word, yet inside his head, a million of words was being spoken. Insults, comfort, prays... Everything. His face
was pale and Kaoru didn't even know if he ever blinked. He was worried for his friend. Infact, he was worried for everyone, especially Shinya. Die turned his
head as he saw a masculine figure walk down the hall. He jumped up and ran to him, knowing that it was the doctor who was treating the drummer. He grabbed
the older man's shoulders hard and shouted,

"Is he alright? Can I... we go see him?!" The doctor looked away for a moment and sighed. Die saw this gesture and stepped back and widen his eyes.

"No..." he whispered, "No..." The doctor sighed once again, as the others ran towards them.

"I'm afraid so," he said. Die's lips trembled and his eyes became watery once again.

"Kaoru... promised, so he must be alive," the red head said. The doctor shook his head and Die pushed him, screaming words no one could make out exactly.
Toshiya held Die back. He too was crying and so, he threw his arms around Die tightly. For a few moments, Kyo and Kaoru cried together and Toshiya and Die, but
Die pushed Toshiya away and ran to Shinya's room. He pushed the door opened, practically breaking it down. Then he saw what he was there for, though not
compleletly what he wanted. He slowly walked towards Shinya's body. His eyelids were closed and one hand fell off the side of the bed. Die grasped that hand
and pulled it up to his face, gently kissing it. He smiled at the sweet, peaceful Shinya.

"I know you're alive, Shinya. I heard... a heart beat," he whispered. He softly moved the pieces of hair out of his face and kissed Shinya's forehead. The red head
then kissed the lips of his beloved and whispered into his ear the words the drummer longed to hear...

"I love you, Shin-chan." He caressed Shinya's cheek, expecting him to wake up any moment and say those words back to him, but he didn't. Die kissed Shinya's
hand once again and smiled, with tears constantly flowing from his eyes.

"That's okay. You can sleep my beautiful, Shin-chan," he whispered. The red head wouldn't believe that Shinya was dead. He believed everyone was wrong and that
he was right. Shinya was alive.

The others quietly walked towards the door and stared at Die, but Die did not notice for everything else in the world just didn't exist. He slowly rested his head onto
the drummer's chest and closed his eyes, awaiting to hear the sweet, musical heartbeat, but he didn't. Die clenched his teeth together and began to breathe heavily.
"Where's the heart beat?" he mumbled. Toshiya folded his arms and swallowed hard.

"There isn't one, Die... It's gone," he said. Die began to sob and tried so hard to ignore what the bassist just said.

"I don't believe you," Die responded, angrily.

"Die," said Toshiya, "Shinya's... dead." Die pushed himself up and stared at the drummer.

"You're not dead. You're just sleeping. Not dead... Just resting... Yes... resting... Right Shinya?" he said to his beloved.

"Right!? Right Shinya!?" he screamed. Die let out a loud cry and ran, pushing the others out of the door way. Toshiya threw himself into Kaoru's arms and wept.
Chapter 4 - Dream: A series of images, ideas, emotions, and sensations occurring involuntarily in the mind during certain stages of sleep

+++

The guitarist had run outside where it was raining. The street was practically deserted. He just kept running; never stopping; collapsing moments later onto the hard
sidewalk. He cried a little boy abandoned from his mother, clenching his fist so tightly together. Die continued to scream and insult/blame himself. Suddenly, he
heard a soft voice, but pretended it was nothing. Before long, the voice was heard by his ears again. He looked up, but his eyes were out of focused, so he squinted.

"Die-san," asked a figure, smiling, "what are you doing here?" He kneeled on the ground and rubbed his eyes. Die looked straight up at the male in front of him.

"No... It couldn't be..." he mumbled. It resembled someone...

"Excuse me?" the male asked. Die looked around in confusion and looked back at the person. He seemed to be on that private street he took before he reached the
bus stop to go to Shinya's home.

"Shinya!?" He shouted. Shinya raised an eyebrow, moving the umbrella over the guitarist's head to stop the rain from landing on him.

"Hai," he responded. Die threw his arms around the auburn haired beauty incredibly tight. Almost so Shinya couldn't breathe.

"Are you okay, Die? What are you doing on the ground?" the drummer asked. Die let go and stared at Shinya's angelic face. He slightly rubbed his head, feeling a
bump on it. Therefore, he realized about earlier. He looked down at his side and there was the wallet with the group photo catching his eye.

//It was a... dream!? Yes! A Dream! I fell and dreamt that... Yes!// he thought in his head. With both hands, Die grasped Shinya's non-occupied hand and stared at him.

"I love you, Shinya... I'm so sorry I didn't realize it before, but I really do! I love you, Shin-chan! I love you! I. Love. You. Yet, I put you through pain! Pain, Shin-chan!
Pain! I hurt you! I can't live with that... I'm so... so... sorry Shinya... Never forgive me and just hate me, please? I'll understand!" Die said to the drummer.
Shinya dropped the umbrella as Die began that sentence and once he ended it, he threw his arms around the guitarist oh so tightly.

"No," he whispered, "It was just a silly mistake." Die ran his fingers through Shinya's semi-wet hair.

"But I hurt you, Shinya... I lied to you. I said I didn't lov-" Die jabbered on, but Shinya interrupted him by gently pushing him away and pressed his lips upon the red
head's pale pink lips, wrapping his hands around Die's neck softly. Die was shocked at first, but not long after, he closed his eyes and kissed Shinya back. It
was a sweet, passionate kiss and afterwards, the two embraced. Die brush his fingers gently against Shinya's skin.

"Now," he asked curiously, "what are you doing here?" Shinya blushed and responded,
"To see you." The red head stood up, offering Shinya his hand. Shinya grasped the hand, grabbing the umbrella with the other, and with Die's help, he got up. Die
wrapped one arm around Shinya's waist and took the umbrella into his free hand. Shinya bowed his head, lightly and put one arm around Die and the other
playfully poked Die's chest.

"Shall we go to my house, Shin-chan?" Die offered and so, Shinya nodded.

"Will you sleep over too?" he asked, grinning. Shinya lightly slapped his chest.

"Hentai," he mumbled causing the guitarist to snicker.

"Hey! Hey! I didn't say anything! I just asked for a nice casual sleep over." Shinya chuckled and said,

"Whatever Die." The red head kissed Shinya's cheek and asked,

"So... will you?"

"You didn't even have to ask," Shinya replied, smiling.

+++

They reached Die's house and they were soaking wet still from the rain and Die sneezed a couple of times, so Shinya assumed he was getting a cold. Die helped
Shinya take off his jacket and then placed it upon a hook.

"Would you like some tea or something?" he offered Shinya. Shinya shook his head and began to yawn.

"Can we sleep, Die-sama?" he asked, blinking his eyes innocently. Die nodded and so, he took a hold of Shinya's hand a showed him into his room.

The drummer sat on the bed as Die searched through his dresser looking for a new outfit for Shinya to wear. He pulled out a a pair of tear aways and a white shirt.
The clothes would be baggy on the auburn haired beauty since Die was taller than him and perfered baggy clothes, anyhow.

Die handed the drummer his clothes and walked out with his own set of clothes.

"I'll change in the bathroom," said the red head. Shinya bowed his head and smiled. The red head walked out of the room, closing the door behind him. He looked up
in the ceiling and his eyes became watery.

"Arigato... for giving me another chance," he whispered.

+++

When he walked back in there, he saw Shinya folding his clothes onto a chair. Die snuck up behind him and wrapped his arms around the delicate drummer's waist,
kissing his neck repeatedly. Shinya closed his eyes and touched Die's arms.

"Bed time, Shin-chan," he whispered, softly into Shinya's ear. Die walked over to the bed, pulling the blankets off and gently pulled Shinya towards him, pointing with
his whole hand to the bed. Shinya smiled and got onto the bed, moving over so Die could lie beside him. Die got up onto the bed also, and sat down against the
head board beside Shinya. He looked at his lover and poked him softly.

"Hmm?" Shinya asked, pushing himself up against the head board as well. Die placed one hand onto Shinya's cheek and threw his lips onto the drummer's. It was an
open-mouth kiss, so therefore, the red head's tongue escaped into Shinya's mouth, playfully touching Shinya's. Minutes later, they broke free for air and gazed at
one another, panting.

"Shinya," Die said, "I love you so much." Shinya sank down back into the blankets, so he was not sitting, but he was lying down on the bed. He moved the strand that
fell onto Die's face, so the view of his eyes were not to be seen and smiled at him.

"I love you too, Die-sama," he whispered. Die slowly and gently moved towards on Shinya's chest. He kissed it softly first, but then rested on his chest. Shinya just
stroke Die's cheek ever-so lightly while Die listened to the sound in Shinya's chest, placing his arm around Shinya's small waist.

"Heartbeat," he said, "I hear a heartbeat." 1 1
