"I like it," Justin finally says, breaking the silence as he looks over at her, smiling some as his hand reaches over, patting her bare shoulder gently.
"really?" she says, her voice somewhat surprised as she looks up at him hopefully.
"Yeah.. and he'll understand it. I just wonder if he'll play it," Justin says giving a little chuckle. Rolling her eyes Raquel sticks her tongue out at him childishly before grinning. "Come on, lets work on the center again. Were not timed together right... we need to split up more on the octaves. I'll try to be higher and you try to be.. a bit lower on your part."
"Yes Drill sergeant," he teases before sitting up straighter on his stool.

Adam slowly opens the back door to the club, slipping into the dark only to hear two people singing. Being confused by this, having figured he could be alone there to work, he comes in, staying in the shadows only to look up to see Raquel and Justin with mics, singing to each other while staring at each other. He felt an uneasy feeling in his stomach as the words reverberated off the walls from the speakers to him.
"Knock down my door before we run out of time. Break into my heart and rob me blind." They sing as Justin inches closer, a hand coming up and running through her hair while they get as close as they can without there Mic's making a squeal noise.
Adam couldn't help but feel his stomach lurch at the site. He shouldn't be touching her. He shouldn't be looking at her. She was off limits to him. No, Kelly should be the one he is touching and singing to. Kelly... Kelly was his though. Shaking his head Adam glares at the two as Raquel grins, looking at Justin sweetly. That was the look he was suppose to be getting and those words should be for him.
"I do but I don't. I should but I won't. Cause I don't wanna be alone..."
Was she alone anymore? Looking at how close they were and his touching her he highly doubted it. Had she ever even been alone? He knew he left her but he never left her did he? He had always been there for her. Always with a hug and kiss to the temple. He always loved her too much, that's why he had pulled away. Didn't she know what she means to him?
"MUAH!" Justin says, laughing as he leans in and steals a kiss from her lips. Laughing, Raquel pushes his shoulder back before rolling her eyes.
"Dork," she says before leaning over, kissing his cheek sweetly while wrapping her arms around him, pulling him into a hug. "Thanks so much for this. You're amazing."
"Hey hey I am not the amazing one. I just never would have suspected you felt this way if you didn't come and get me to help out. The lyrics are awesome girlie. The notes too," He says as his hands rub over her back, hugging her closely only to rock them back and forth.
It wasn't just a song he thinks as his hand slams into the wall besides him hard, making the couple on stage jump and quickly pull apart. Looking in his direction they both get a fearful look as Adam just stands there, his eyes staring at them coldly with his fist against the wall.
