| Days seemed like months as the young man suffered in silence. He had things to do, places to go, people to see. It was the life he signed on for years ago and as much as his heart and soul laid in a hotel bed under covers and soaked pillow cases, he needed to be where he was. However as always their was one thing he could do.. send in his man. Every time they fought he found if he couldn't solve it by himself his friends kind gentle words always seemed to bring her back. He never knew what he did and truly wasn't sure if he wanted to know, figuring knowing could destroy the work he had done. "Flight 82507 for Honolulu Hawaii is now boarding out of gate B 03." He sighs as he looks over at his good friend Trace and mother, picking his bag up slightly off the floor only to in his lost state, drag it over the tile floors of the airport, sluggishly making his way to his private airline gate to get on his plane, heading off to Hawaii to help rumors with Britney, to do as told by his management team. -------------------------------------- Raquel crosses her arms, giving the older man in front of her a stern look as she sits up in her bed, her knees in her usual Indian style while her eyes look at him in slight betrayal. She found no amusement on the older mans words and actions, knowing he had come only to restore peace she had no desire to make. This was usual of him, coming to the rescue for Justin but never just being what she needed, her best friend. "Josh I don't care.." A small smirk plays over the mans thin lips as he leans forward, opening his arms slightly. He never acted serious when trying to cheer her, figuring the outburst of smiles and chuckles in a serious time would throw her off. "Joshua..." His arms encircle her, pulling her closer against him as his lips gently brush over the soft pale skin of her forehead. He knows she's in no mood to be messed with and yet, he finds himself enjoying picking on her. He can't get enough of her little pouts and smiles as she does her best to fight him. "Come on this isn't fair," Raquel whines as she leans into him, giving into him. He always won especially with hugs and his sweet laugh. She just felt hopeless to him. He always knew what to say and do and this wasn't an exception. She turns her body, uncrossing her legs as she gets up, moving into his lap. JC pulls her down between his legs, moving her so her back rests against his chest as his head rests down on her shoulder. His arms only tighten around her as a soft content sigh escapes his thin lips and he gives a small smile. "I love you," She whispers softly, closing her eyes as she un-tenses against him. "I love you more," he says in her ear before gently presses his soft lips against her lobe, sending a shiver down her back, her body shaking a bit in his arms. -------------------------------- Justin's hand comes up, his fingers gently fluffing through his un-gelled curls as his blue eyes stare down endlessly at a white pad of lined paper. The sinking feeling in his stomach keeps growing, especially when alone. Britney had gone out an hour before for a short hair cut but something told him he wouldn't see her for hours. He wasn't upset she was gone, he knows he needs time alone to think but the idea of Raquel mad at him at her mother's while JC is their trying to make him the good man again was beginning to drive him nuts. "I remember what you said to me... you were acting so strange. And maybe I was too blind to see you needed a change.." His hand picks up the dull tipped pencil, flowing over the paper as words began to pour out from no where. He was surprising himself as he felt what he needed to say and how he is suffering come into words. 'now I don't want to make excuses baby. It won't change the fact that you're gone Time is passing so slowly now. I guess that's my life without you. I've been sitting here, can't you off my mind. I've tried my best to be a man and be strong. The truth remains you're gone. There are a thousand words I could say to make you come home. You left me alone To make you walk out and leave me cold To make it so that you were right here... right now.' His baby blue eyes begin to tear up as the feeling of emptiness takes over more. She was gone. The word gone seemed to echo and only fit for everything he felt. His muse, his love, his life.. gone. He needs her back, wants her back. He takes a deep inhale before letting a few tears slip down his cheek. He dropped the pencil down, lowering his head as he fought with himself. He didn't want to cry, didn't want to be this depressed. |
