Sugar Is A Girl's Best Friend

Leela looked strangely at the string of purple crystals she had just been handed.  The strand felt heavy, like the gems she had found in a cave when she was young.  She had assumed it was something to wear, but the Doctor had told her different.  "Doctor!  You can't possibly expect me to eat this!" she exclaimed.

"Why not?" the Doctor replied, breaking a bluish crystal in half and popping a piece into his mouth.  Leela stared in awe.  Only the strongest warriors in her tribe could break rocks like that.

"It's solid stone!"

"Oh, tosh!  It's only rock candy!"
