My Fiberglassic
Great Links
Two years ago I bought this 13' boat in New Hampshire for $200.00. It was in terrible condition. The 1958 18hp Evinrude Fastwin ran, but not to well. It had no trailer, it had about 8" of water in it and had been sitting in a field for two years. I sanded the boat in the summer, and installed a new windshield. My dad and I fiberglassed the transom and the bow because the were pretty weak.  We coated the whole boat with fiberglass resin to add extra strenght. When we were readey to put the motor on we found out the transom was rotted so we fixed it with marine tex. I also bought a trailer for it and had the engine serviced.  I took it on vacation in August unpainted just to test it. It was a pain getting it up there because the wheels on the trailer fell of going down the off ramp.  When we finally got to use it I was amazed by the performance.  It went about 30-35 and pulled my mother skiing.  It also pulled the tube no problem. I do not know what the make or model is because the boat has been repainted many times. If any one could help me identify it I would greatly appreciate it.  My E- Mail is under the links. Click the Boat Picture links at the top to see more picures of my boat.
