I'm a fan of White Wolf's World of Darkness roleplaying game and setting.
There was an earlier World of Darkness developed by White Wolf, but they wanted to relaunch it because it was getting a bit too chaotic and inconsistent; so they closed down the old WoD back in 2004, and relaunched in August of that year with a new core mortals book (The World of Darkness) and the Vampire core book, Vampire: the Requiem. This was followed by Werewolf: the Forsaken and Mage: the Awakening, both in 2005, and Promethean: the Created, which introduced patchwork monsters a la Frankenstein and Galatea and the Golem.
The fifth WoD game, Changeling: the Lost, was launched in August 2007, right on time (for a change).
And, I strongly suspect (based on the word search on the back page of the Changeling core book), the sixth new World of Darkness game, to be launched next year, will be a new Hunter game.
My first attempt at a story for the new World of Darkness game is a tale for the Vampire: the Requiem line.
