1980 Spider 2000 Project - Phase 1

My 1980 Spider has been my favorite since I purchased it in 1997.  There were (and still are) a lot of “firsts” with this car...despite what you may be thinking, I’m writing about automotive things here.

This car has already lived an interesting life.  As I stated above, it was purchased in 1997, June 26 to be exact.  Sporting a well worn tan interior, a blue paint job that probably cost around $99, a bad  clutch and worn out brakes, this car was to undergo a time consuming restoration over the course of six months in 1997.
