Kevin Walde

Position: Forward, Midfield

This is Kevin's second season with Fianna F.C.; his first playing the outdoor game.  Kevin's speed and lightweight frame prompted some of the local soccer pundits to dispute whether Kevin was part of a secret government project to make soccer players out of carbon fibre. His lethal ball control combined with his compact frame and ability to hide amongst larger competitors has left many an opponent playing what would appear to be a spin-off children's picture game. We like to call it "Where's Walde." Kevin eats, sleep and breathes soccer, and one day hopes to make a living out of it. He was a great addition to our indoor team as he was able to connect several times for some very showy goals, and many assists. We are looking forward to big things out of him this summer
