Alfie Kiernan

Position: Minister of Defense

We are not sure if Alfie was born in Ireland or on a golf course.  The way he talks about both you'd think that either could be his home.  Alfie is the anchor of Fianna's defense.  He has often been compared to a 6 month-old Oreo....that is to say, he is one tough cookie.  Don't let his title of Minister of Defense fool you either.  Alfie has his eyes on other portfolios.  Besides being solid on the backline, he has also shown his great prowess at snagging balls out of the air on cornerkicks.  When dear old, old, old Alfie is not on the soccer pitch or the links, he is a integral member of those responsible for the prime-time hit "Corner Gas".
