Wells College Updates |

It seems like things have settled slightly regarding Wells College. Two students took their cases to the New York supreme court citing a breach of contract in order to get an injunction to stop the college from allowing men to enroll in the all-women's institution. The court did not grant the injunction, and while it seemed liked the students planned to appeal the decision, I haven't seen any sign of them for a while. Students involved in the protest last October raised over $10,000 to cover the court costs. Wells College has seen an extreme jump in the number of applications it has received within the last few months. There is some speculation about whether those numbers will remain high once publicity regarding the coed issue dies down.
