Today the group's President and Vice President (both pro tempore) have pointed out to the Principal of Freedom High that it is against national law for the Burke County School Board to prohibit a group simply because it is a political group. This is based on the Equal Access Act, which states that no club can be turned down on the basis of the groups political, religous, or philosophical standpoint. The prinicpal then agreed to contact Burke County's Superintendent, David Burleson.
