Our 15-Year Reunion was a big success. It was held on September 30, 2000 from 6 - 10pm at The Gin Mill in Baltimore. There were approximately 125 people in attendance from the Classes of 1984, 1985, and 1986. Everyone enjoyed hanging out at the bar and catching up with folks they hadn't seen (or heard of) in a long time while feasting on such delectables as hot spinach and artichoke dip, baked ziti, tossed Caesar salad, and roasted turkey. In addition to Saturday night's affair, an informal Happy Hour was held Friday night at the Timber Creek Tavern. Arranged by Greg Hobbs and Karen Karpewicz, the happy hour started around 5pm and lasted til 11 or so. About 15-20 classmates attended - all of which greatly enjoyed the very casual, intimate atmosphere.
A Family Picnic was also held on Sunday, October 1st, from noon to 4pm. Planned by Greg Hobbs, approximately 20 families attended, enjoying not only a wonderful cookout and potluck but the chance to get to know each other's families. |
