Here are three pins, the one in the center is made using square stitch. One of the cats on the jack-o'-lanterns is made using brick stitch. The other cat is made using peyote stitch. Can you tell which is which? I can't, not any more. I did know several years ago. The jack-o'-lantern in the center was based on a cross stitch pattern I had seen somewhere, I added the cat. The idea for the two cats on jack-o'-lanterns came from a plastic canvas pin that my next door neighbor has made for years. I think someone else showed her how to make it. I wonder if changing it from plastic canvas and yarn to beads is more than 10 percent.? I will have to ask Mary T. |
