"Mr. Jars" Tinsman is the older brother of fellow Founding Member Chris Tinsman. Jer was a creative individual going the extra mile to promote his team.
Mr. Jer Tinsman entered the FHL in 1992 as a Founding Member, with the Tijuana Taco Benders, Drafting under that name until after, he decided "It wasnt good for the morale of the team to know they had to play in a Scumhole like TJ". So he moved the team to Dartmouth, Ontario Canada where he could develop a rivalry with neighboring Halifax, and to join the Great White North's tradition of Hockey.
His Dartmouth Buttblasters lasted 4 years in the FHL never making the playoffs however giving the best he could give for that time. Mr. Jer Tinsman re-joined the FHL in 1999 for a one year stent as Dartmouth. Dropping the Buttblasters and just going by the City Name, it resulted in yet another dissapointing FHL year missing the playoffs yet again. |
