Russ Courtnall was Drafted in 1993, 28th overall in the FHL by Roy's Team, which later became the Mt. Olympus Titans after Roy Starin quit the league and the team was handed over to Josh Aldridge. Mr. Aldridge took on Courtnall and the rest of the team and used Courtnall in 27 of the 28 possible weeks that season.
Courts, became quickly the franchise player of the Titans, leading the team in scoring the first season, and 7th the next. Courtnall ended his FHL Career early but continued to excel in the NHL and surprisingly not catch the eye of future FHL Owners. For what he accomplished in his first 2 years with the Titans, he helped put the team on the map, and in FHL History. |
