Mr. Cooke has the destinct honor of being the first person to win the FHL Cup. One of the FHL's Founding Members, he created the Liverpool Limies and also has the destinction of participating in the FHL every season since its inception with the same team. Wayne has always been loyal to the league and attended many functions.
In 1993, Mr. Cooke along with Mr. Wright, and Chris Tinsman went to a Restaurant/Brewery in Pasadena California called Crown City Brewing Co. It was there after the Limies had won the First FHL Championshp that he and Mr. Wright came up with the Idea that they should play for a Trophy or prize like the Stanley Cup in the NHL. The Idea was instantly accepted and eventually all 5 Founding Members pitched in to buy the FHL Cup.
Mr. Cooke continues to run the Liverpool Limies and has managed to reach the Finals 3 times since winning the Cup, but have lost all 3. |
