I know that this can never be said enough and for most of you, I really do understand that you feel it's "JUST TO LATE." Yet as a Veteran myself who's married to a Vietnam/Gulf War Veteran, I wanted to say
"Thank You and Welcome Home."

Some of you even volunteered which took tremendous courage in itself. You revealed what
TRUE AMERICAN PATRIOTISM is just by doing so. The one's who came home to such an "Ungrateful Nation," I can only pray that someday you can find it in your heart to forgive. For so many Veterans (to include my husband) I know that it will be more difficult to do, than any battle you have ever fought because the pain and scars are embedded in your heart and soul.

For the families of those that didn't come home at all and their questions have yet to be answered? I will continue to pray for you. God knows you have every right to know what happened to that family member and for him/her to be brought back home and buried on
AMERICAN SOIL.

Now we have so many Soldiers that are sick with unknown illnesses along with family members and even their pets, such as in our case. I hope and pray that you
NEVER GIVE UP the fight because you already know what the end result is. There must be an accountability to ALL VETERANS and their families for what has been allowed to happen to each and every one of them because lives have been ruined and that can never be reversed.

Every single Veteran
HAS EARNED our respect for what they have gone through and they deserve the best possible medical care that can be given. The same goes for disability when they can no longer function as before because their health has been damaged from their service to this Country. They should not have to fight AGAIN
just to
SURVIVE.

Our Government and the people of the United States should always protect and care about the one's who have fought for them and are fighting now for them and will fight for them in the future for the sake of
FREEDOM. To never forget that if it were not for the Veteran, there would not be any Freedom or United States to live in. This is not only a personal feeling but it's a well known fact. You know, I hear a saying all the time which is,
"We take care of our own." I'm wondering,
DO WE?
