We did a quite a bit of walking around Paris.

This is the view from our hotel room. We stayed at the Hotel Residence du Monge, which I highly recommend. Our room had its own toilet, shower, fridge, and air conditioning. The TV even had three channels in English. There was a mini-balcony, which was probably unsafe to stand on, but we could stick out to take these pictures. The hotel is in the Latin Quarter of Paris, right next to the back entrance to the Monge Metro station. The picture of Lan looks to the south, and the picture of Fumi points North. If my head wasn't in the way, you might have been able to see Notre Dame.

I took this picture when we were exploring south west of our hotel room. The area was rather quiet, but safe feeling. There are many narrow roads in Paris.
