Been too busy last few weeks with school to ride much, except for just commuting between home and school, which will hopefully keep me in shape. Unfortunately, this busy time comes right at the time of the Mutual of Enumclaw race I was planning to do. But I think I should concentrate on school at the moment.
But before I got busy, I did a few of the weekly Thursday races at Seward Park. I can not pretty routinely finish the race with the pack, or right behind the pack. I think if I concentrated on just finishing, I could; but I try to do some things up front, like chase down breakaways, which help the other guys on my team. Or at least I hope so.
I think I'll also try to make some of the velodrome races (the track bike racing). I felt pretty good at some of the practice sessions. The racing has started already, but again, I'm too busy at the moment....
I just hope I don't become too slow in the month I'm concentrating on school work....
