Last night I ate half a box of nerds. Not the little box. The huge box you buy at American supermarket. It made me feel sick, and I already feel sick. Weirdo. Pumpkin ice cream with whipped cream too. Sugar sugar sugar etc.

Chet and I were recording last night. We were working on the theme song. We took a very subdued bassline that I'd written on the psr and chet magically spiced it up. It's not finished, but it's a sketch with structure. It's fun how to see the relationship between the original idea and the much better finished idea.

We also listened a bunch to Henry's amazing feature song. It has a lot of trumpet fanfares. This is the song that will go with the sock spinning in the wash image. Frank Sinatra vocals or weirdo spedup kid vocals. Me no know.

We are interested in making music that sounds like kiddie music. Can't really explain. Lyrics are pretty tough because you want them to be all that. The process of writing these first songs is different from the other episodes because then we will have the feedback info available.

I have been writing some dialogue. I'm pretty excited about the possibilities for the computer's voice. Chet has a lot of plug-ins in Reason that can make a voice sound pretty damn funky. Maybe I will work more on the dialogue and post some of that nonsense up here soon, so I can get some feedback.
