Executive
Coaching
What an Executive Coach does:
- hold a series of one-hour sessions with the
coachee
- discuss issues and concerns of the coachee
to
include "data gathering", analysis, then
solutions.
- assist in setting priorities or management
styles
- brainstorm ideas, look for new directions
A Typical Coaching Program
First of all there would be a free flowing
discussion
with the prospective coachee to determine if a coaching service would
be
useful; and to see if the two parties could work well
together.
There must be a sense of mutual respect and trust. All
information
is, of course, strictly confidential. At this
preliminary
session, if it is decided to proceed with a program, the program would
be
determined. There is no charge for this introductory exploratory
session.
At the first one-hour session it would be
appropriate
to identify problems and gather all the relevant data. A
second
session would be to review and analyze the information gathered in the
previous
session. Then a third session would discuss solutions and new
directions.
Location would be at the discretion of the coachee on or off site.
The fees for a typical program
would
be $500 (Can.) for the three sessions plus any travel cost
involved.
Any additional hours beyond those indicated would be at the rate of
$50/hr.
