SINGAPORE

Singapore was the most reasonable place to work when you need to be near your family in Manila.  It takes only 3 hours to get there by plane.  My first time in Singapore (2000 - 2003) was one of the best experiences I had so far outside of the country.  Me and my old friends had a fun past time, we started a band.  Every weekend, we would play some music (we prefer rock) and Parokya ni Edgar and Eraserheads' songs were our favorite.  I admit, I miss playing the bass and singing for our band.  Somehow I find it fulfilling.  I was thinking of learning formally (if I have the time and means maybe).
The second time I came back to Singapore was in 2005 - 2006 when I worked for Citibank as a designer.  The job was a bit challenging not because of the tasks but the timeframe.  But any experience is a good one as long as we learn from them.
