Definition: In these articles I will use a descriptive
term: "Neo Commies".
That is not casual slang, but rather a single term to
describe various groups, who would undermine our Constitution and our
freedoms. They have many names; "Progressives" ,"Leftists", "Communists",
"Radical Leftists", "Distinguished Professors". All have the same basic goal
in mind. A dictatorship by an elite oligarchy. The one term includes them
all. |

The office of the
President of the United States of America deserves respect.
Obama is seriously abusing that office.
Using the pedestal of the Presidency, he continues to deliver a steady
stream of lies, distortions and omissions, concerning his health care plan,
as well as other issues.
The College of Surgeons has accused him of lying about surgery costs.
The AARP, in effect, said the same thing concerning his statement concerning
their support for the health care bill.
In the White House press room, glib Gibbs continues his performance. He is
being increasingly challenged by members of the media.
There are issues in medical care that need to be addressed, but Obama's
attack strategy continues to demonize different sectors of the health care
industry, while evading or lying about the negative impacts of the health
bill.
I continue to have respect for the Office of the President, but not for the
man presently occupying that office, who I consider to be a subversive, and
a threat to our country.
He is guilty of implementing creeping totalitarianism. |

The New York
Times reported:
WASHINGTON - The stubborn yet false rumor that
President Obama’s health care proposals would create government-sponsored
“death panels” to decide which patients were worthy of living seemed to
arise from nowhere in recent weeks.
The New York Times attempt to declare "death panel" rumors, as the product
of mis-lead "wing nuts", is another example of the campaign of evasions,
distortions and outright lies, that are being used by the Obama "Neo
Commies" and their bedfellows, to try to squelch legitimate concerns.
In point of fact, deciding which patients are worthy of living is a main
thrust of so-called cost effective medicine.
Obama formed a council to study Comparative Effectiveness Research, which is
a euphemism for rationing.
Dr. Ezekial
Emmanuel, Rahm Emmanuel's brother is a member of this commission.

Recovery Act Allocates $1.1 Billion for Comparative Effectiveness Research
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services today announced the members
of the Federal Coordinating Council for Comparative Effectiveness Research.
Authorized by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), the new
Council will help coordinate research and guide investments in comparative
effectiveness research funded by the Recovery Act.
“Comparative effectiveness research can improve care for all Americans and
is an important element of President Obama’s health reform plan,” said HHS
Spokeswoman Jenny Backus. “President Obama is committed to openness and
transparency and the Coordinating Council will host open meetings and a
listening session as it begins its important work.”
Comparative effectiveness research provides information on the relative
strengths and weakness of various medical interventions. Such research will
give clinicians and patients valid information to make decisions that will
improve the performance of the U.S. health care system.
The 15 member Council, named today in accordance with a
Congressionally-mandate timeline, will assist the agencies of the Federal
government, including HHS and the Departments of Veterans Affairs and
Defense, as well as others, to coordinate comparative effectiveness and
related health services research. The Recovery Act authorized $300 million
for the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, $400 million for the
National Institutes of Health, and $400 million for the Secretary of Health
and Human Services to support comparative effectiveness research.
Dr Emanuel participated in producing the paper referred to below.
Principles for
Allocation of Scarce Medical Interventions
The above Is a
PDF of the complete paper entitled "Principles for Allocation of Scarce
Medical Interventions- The Lancet, Volume 373, Issue 9661, Pages 423 - 431,
31 January 2009.
Although it seems to be concerned with the ethics of allocating scarce
medical resources such as organs and vaccines, it introduces a methodology
called "The Complete Life System", which would govern the allocation of
"scarce medical resources". Since there is an emphasis on reducing the cost
of health care, it is easy to see how those principles would be applied in
that area as well, resulting in rationing.
This elitist utilitarian concept is a favorite with Dr. Emmanuel.
Here is a key quote from the Complete Life System section of the paper:
Consideration of the importance of complete
lives also supports modifying the youngest first principle by prioritizing
adolescents and young adults over infants. Adolescents have received
substantial education and parental care, investments that will be wasted
without a complete life. Infants, by contrast, have not yet received these
investments. Similarly, adolescence brings with it a developed personality
capable of forming and valuing long-term plans whose fulfillment requires a
complete life.
It should be noted that the elderly share with infants the non-prioritized
areas, where life extending treatments would not be justified.
This area, under the present circumstances, is in need of rigorous and open
examination.
This is not happening. |

The full
court press by the Obama Neo-Commies continues on all fronts.
A UN official spouts that the world has only 4 months left to resolve the
global warming "crisis". Cap and trade is on it's way to become law.
National Guard troops are being trained to fight rioters to protect vaccine
shipments, as the flu pandemic panic is pumped to higher levels.
A large segment of US business is under indirect government control.
The enormous impact Health Care bill was rushed through to attempt
implementation in little more than 4 weeks. Increasingly, opponents of any
of the activities are labeled as "wing-nuts" and "Un-American"
The latest appointee to the FCC will do what he denies. He will suppress
Conservative opposition. As the total approval rating of Obama continues to
decline, the intensity of the full court press efforts will increase. I
expect, that like China and Iran, Obama and his Neo Commies will find ways
to suppress opposition on the Internet. I expect that the IRS will be
conducting more per capita tax audits of identified Conservatives.
The Obama committee that was set up to provide more cost effective health
care, will pave the way for eventual euthanasia for the elderly and
government subsidies for abortions on demand, for about to be born infants.
Faith-based efforts to oppose these measures will increasingly be labeled as
"mis-lead" and "extremist". Religion will be forced behind closed doors as
Leftist secularism becomes the law of the land.
"Community Activism" projects will increasingly create means for a civilian
corps to provide pressure and intimidation for Obama Neo Commie goals.
The tipping point grows closer. |
