Tournament Details:

MAP: Garden of War

DATE: Saturday January 25, 2003

TIME: 9:00 A.M. MST (11:00 A.M. eastern)

Tournament Rules:

-Games will be 1 vs 1 matches. No observers allowed - EXCEPT in the final game, which may be observed by anyone who participated in the tournament who wishes to watch.

-The Tournament will be double elimination. Because it's double elimination and not single elimination, the final game will only be a 1 game series instead of the traditional "best 2 out of 3 games" found in most tournaments.

-If the player who makes it to the Final game undefeated loses, (because it is DOUBLE elimination) the two finalists will play again, as it takes TWO losses to be eliminated from the tournament.

-The 'Tournament Tree' shown below will be updated as the results are reported, and will be used to match up players with their next opponent.

-All games will be played in quick succession. When your game is over, you must wait in channel AKW (or on AIM) for your next opponent to finish the game they're currently in. As soon as that game is decided, the next game must start within TEN MINUTES of the previous game ending. (Ten minutes between games are allowed for players to eat or go to the bathroom if necessary.)

-BOTH players must save and submit a replay of each game played. If you don't save the replay, then you have no proof of your victory.

-The loser of a specific game must report the loss to BleakStare. In the event of a disconnect, if one player was well ahead of another player, and both players will concede that player would have won the match, then the victory will be awarded to said player. If both players cannot agree on who would have won, or both players were fairly equal, then a rematch will be played immediately.

-If a player does not show up for a specific game, then it is considered a forfeit for that match.

-BleakStare has the final say in ANY AND ALL disagreements. Every attempt will be made in order to provide both players a chance to plead their case. No discussion once a final decision has been made.

-First prize is $20.00 (US).

-Second prize is $10.00 (US).

-Third prize is $5.00 (US).
