Well, all the kids are off to school for the first day! For Lily and Rosie it will be a year of H.O.P.E. (Helping others and ourselves promote excellence) The school theme for the year is HOPE. Lily spent a few days decorating the school with Smiley faces (one of Rosie's favorite collections!) and they hope to have a wonderful year participating in Student Council, orchestra, choir and many other fun things. Jay is just glad to finally have the elementary school all to himself! He will be there for three years yet, but glad to be rid of both girls! I am relieved and able to get my chores done without distractions. I'm off to a good start, but must go work on some more tasks!
