My Opinion on Basch`s Japanese Voice:
At first, I was not fond of Basch`s Japanese voice...he sounded much older than what I had expected - plus, I never imagined Basch to have such a deep voice either; it definitely needed some getting used to on my part. However, over time, his Japanese voice has grown on me; he certainly has a very manly voice and that is the way it should be ^_^ I have not heard much yet of Mr. Koyama in the role of Basch; once I have completed the English version of FFXII I am planning to watch a few Basch-related FFXII Japanese cut-scenes so I can truly listen to his voice and compare it to Basch`s English one...it should be interesting :)

My Opinion on Basch`s English Voice:
I had always expected Basch to have a plain American accent...however, it was decided to provide him with a British accent which I think fits perfectly to his character and to the setting of FFXII. Basch only has about 4 sentences of dialogue in the trailer, although it is too early to judge on the "acting" part; I can definitely already say that I love the sound of it. His voice is not as deep as his Japanese one but instead has a "raspy" tone to it. Basch`s English voice is actually much closer to how I had always imagined him to sound like.
