Poem
Below is the poem I wrote about Basch before playing Final Fantasy XII...
I am pretty happy with how it turned out; I hope you will enjoy it.
Basch Poem (Spoilers FREE)
The King`s and Reks` death has been blamed on him;
Now, Basch`s future does indeed look grim.
It seems Basch had a good reason why he killed his majesty;
He did it, because the king robbed his people out of liberty.
However, there is still one thing I am very puzzled by;
Which is - why did Basch want Reks to die?
I have no doubt, there must be more to Basch`s story;
An important part, that could restore his reputation back to glory.
After committing the murders, Basch was caught by Vayne and put in jail;
Therefore, killing Reks and the King, seemed to be to no avail.
For two years Basch was held in captivity;
He was freed by Vaan, after promising him his loyalty.
Now, they joined together to fight against a dark kingdom;
It is the only way to ensure the people they care for - freedom.
There is also Vossler who has always been Basch`s trusted friend;
I do wonder if he remains that until the very end.
And so I wait until FFXII will be out at a store near by;
Believe me; the day it`s out, is the day I feel I can fly.
I have high hopes for this "Final Fantasy;"
All I can do now is to wait and see if "my hopes," will become reality.
By the way, after hearing Basch`s English voice;
I realized that Square Enix could not have made a better choice.
One last phrase before I quit;
Read carefully, for this is this is an important bit.
There is no doubt that Basch is cool;
If you do not think so, then you are a fool! xD
