FFX-2 reintroduces the popular 'job system' that previously appeared in Final Fantasy Tactics and Final Fantasy 5. It allows the player to customize their characters extensively. In FFX-2, a new variable has been added into the mix. The player may change from one job to another in mid-battle. Not only does this create a strong strategic aspect, but it makes advancing your jobs very rewarding.
Here is a brief description of each job:
Taking place of aeons from FFX are special dresspheres. To transform a special dressphere, you must activate every dressphere on your garment grid. When you do activate it, your other characters will leave the screen and you will turn into a super-powered being. Although not very practical, special dresspheres can save you in a tough battle.
