: Hello again, all you happy people. I learned my lesson on the last tale I told, and from here on I'm going to stick to the basics. Passing out is not fun, let me tell you. So, on with the tale.
1000 years after the War of the Magi, high technology reigns supreme. But, the Empire is reviving the dread force known as "magic." In the south, the Empire is taking over where ever it chooses thanks to its superior Magitek technology. Coming out of this chaos, a young girl who can use the powers of magic freely, without the use of Magitek, is being used by the Empire to further its goals. Word of an Esper, the beings which are born with magic, being found in the mines of Narshe has reached the Empire, and the young girl and two soldiers are sent to take it from the mines. They blast their way down to it through the Narshe guards. Just then, the Esper seems to react to the young girl. All of the Magitek armor, and the two soldiers sent with the girl, is blasted away. She wakes up in the house of a man of Narshe, only remembering her name...Terra. |
