But under his bestial appearance, he is extremely eloquent and unbelievably intelligent. When he was found at Shinra Corporation, the group thought that but his name and number that he was a manufactured being, which would explain his strength and intelligence. The group later finds out that there is much more to Red XIII then they thought.
