Given your interest in genetics, you may be familiar with some of the speakers at the HUGO conference, which included Jay Tischfield from Rutgers University and Prof Jenefer Mary Blackwell from the University of Cambridge. 3) Sponsoring postdocs and graduate students to international conferences In Oct 2003, A*STAR sponsored postdocs and graduate students who attended the International Stem Cell Conference which was held in Singapore. And in fact, we have an upcoming meeting you may be interested in. From 25-30 Oct 2005, the first ever Keystone meeting to be held outside of North America, will be held in Singapore, and interested graduate students and postdocs who would like to come to the meeting in Singapore, can apply for travel scholarships.
